Killian rolled his eyes in response to the low growl which came from the vampire across the room; he hadn't expected her to appreciate his class act in humor.
"Are you kidding me?"
"Not particularly....wh..."
"I'm standing here doing my damndest not to eat you and you're playing 'I Spy?'"
Killian smirked and sat up slightly as he grinned across the room at Alyssa; she obviously didn;t get him juuust yet but she would by the time their meeting was over...he wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing just yet.
"It's easier then playing chess halfway across the room," Killian explained with a shrug before leaning back against the chair.
"...that thing?"
Killian cranned his neck slightly to see what the vampire had pointed out and quickly laughed and shook his head.
"Really?...we're playing a game I wouldn;t be that obviouse," he chided as he closed his eyes the smirk still playing across his face.
"Guess again."

"There's a number of things I require. Unfortunately none of them are possible right now."
Ryden gave Alexis a knowing nod as he watched her near the stairs. This entire turn of events was only serving to make what was already destined to be an uncomfortable situation even worse and it would just be best to get it done and voer with so they could get the final leg of the discomofrt done and life would be set back upon its rightful path.
"But I'll get to my point-look, you two want to go about keeping humans as pets, that's just great. I'm more of a cat person myself, but to each his own. All I'm saying is that before you let a guy unknowingly break a vampire law, it might be fun to tell him that said law is in effect."
"Perhaps it would serve you best in the future to not meddle in affairs which are of no concern to you Mr. Wild. As I hear it you let yourself into Ms. London's shop once again and murdered the boy and attacked Alexis...this makes your 3rd...and might I add final un-announced visit to this flat," Ryden replied sternly having had just about enough of the school yard games Wild was playing.
Ryden;s glare darkened as the other vampire saw fit to sling his arm around him; Gardener was extremley lucky Ryden was a gentleman otherwise the main would have been painted over the walls by now.
"That's my only point, Mr. Compton. You understand, right?"
Ryden felt his body shudder unexpectedly and a slow burning fire sliced through his veins. His eyes widened for a moment as he recognized the pain and his head snapped towards Gardener.
"Just sayin'."
Ryden was extremley old but not even that would stem off the posions which came with being injected with dead man's blood. Clamping his hand roughly around Gardener's arm he tore himself away from the vampire shoving him violently away from him with a hiss. The world tilted and swayed slightly around him and Ryden attempted a step towards Gardener his eyes a dark crimson.
Ryden staggered forward slightly before the posion overcame him and he pitched forward crashing to the ground unconciousness befoe he ever hit the floor.

Alexis took a moment's pleasure in the fact that she had what she wanted-Gardener's feet off of her table. But the thrill was short lived when he came close enough to touch her hair. Alexis yanked her head away, giving him a harsh glare.
"Why bring up unpleasantries of the past, Gardener?" She kept her eyes firmly on him as Gardener danced around the room giving his little rant. She wanted him to make his point immediately. Her instincts were telling her that this was about to get worse.
"Perhaps people would tell you things if you could actually have visit in a civil manner-one that doesn't include seeing how much blood you can spill." She hissed as Gardener put his arm around Compton's shoulders. She personally wanted to rip the apendage off for the action.
"Fine, you made your point. Now-." Alexis's words broke off as Ryden suddenly seemed to react in pain. Searching Gardener's form, she saw the needle in his left hand.
"Get away from him!" She snarled, lunging across the room to press Gardener into the nearest wall. "You've said your piece-now get out of here before I take your head off."

"Really?...we're playing a game I wouldn;t be that obviouse... Guess again."
Alyssa groaned and sat her self down on the floor, cross legged, and put her head in her hands. This was utterly ridiculous. How had she been reduced to playing I Spy with a human while Gardener was upstairs doing who knew what and probably having all the fun. She lifted her head and started looking around the room for something else orange in the room, albeit grudgingly.
A loud thud from somowhere above them made her stop her searching and raise her eyes to the ceiling. Alyssa had no idea what was going on up their but she suspected Gardener had dropped the pleasantries. She looked over at Killian to try and see what he was thinking of doing about the racket upstairs, and finally realised the colour of his shoes.
"Those?" she asked, pointing to them, wondering how she had not noticed he was wearing orange shoes before... it was an interesting colour to where on your feet and went with almost nothing.

Gardener was fairly certain he was the only person in the room enjoying himself. Everything was going exactly as planned. With Compton now passed out on the floor, Alexis was his without interferance from potential peanut galleries.
"Oh come on, Lex." He laughed as she landed against him, pushing him up against the wall. "Did you neglect to tell him that the reason I originally came here was because you called me? And that I was the one who pointed you in his direction? Really-you should have been thanking me."
He caught the upper part of her arms, twisting until he was satisfied he heard her right shoulder dislocate.
"Full stories are better than partial ones, Lex." He pushed her backwards onto the coffee table. "And I'm not a fan of being made out to be the bad guy for acting like a vampire."
He reached down and drew out the knife he'd tucked to his waistband. Holding it against her, he pushed the blade into her abdomen. It wouldn't kill her, but it would slow her down significantly.
Gardener got to his feet. He took the edge of Alexis's sweater and wiped the knife's blade clean.
"Later babe." He whispered, leaning down to brush his lips over hers. Gardener tucked the knife away and strolled downstairs, whistling "Brandy You're a Fine Girl."
"Well, Killian. It was great seeing you again." Gardener waved as he headed for the door. "Lex and Compton will be down in a minute and then you guys can be on your way. Alyssa, you ready for dinner?" He pulled the door open and nodded to the outside.

Killian's eyes snapped open as a loud thud overhead sounded through teh downstairs of the shop. Killian listened to see if any other sound followed after but all seemed rather ok all things considered so he just chalked it up to Gardener breaking something....accidentally on purpose as he was all to well known for doing.
"Those?"
Killian looked down at his feet as Alyssa guessed and pouted slightly before looking back over at the vampire.
"Lucky guess," he explained with a smirk.
"Let's go for broke and try it one more time and this one will be..."
"Well, Killian. It was great seeing you again. Lex and Compton will be down in a minute and then you guys can be on your way. Alyssa, you ready for dinner?"
Killian nearly jumped out of his skin as Gardener's voice unexpectedly filled the shop once more. He pushed himself out of the chair almost in an act of defense but Gardener went right by him and pulled the shop door open for Alyssa.
Killian's eyes stared back at Gardener and then glanced over and up the stairs where he had just come from even though he couldn't see much of anything. It couldn't have felt more wrong if a dead body had been in the middle of the room but Killian knew something was not right...not in the least bit.
Killianw anted to bolt from the room and up the stairs to make sure everything was ok but he didn't want to turn his back on Gardener just the same.
"Right...well um have a good night...and all that," Killian muttered taking a few steps towards the stairs as he waited rather impatiently for Gardener and Alyssa to get the hell out.

Alexis was fully prepared to rip Gardener's head off. But before she could get a grip onto his throat, Gardener caught her upper arms. She didn't even have a second to scream as she felt one of her shoulders move away from where it was supposed to locate.
"Gardener-." Her back collided with the coffee table before the statement could officially leave her mouth. When he landed on top of her, Alexis caught the back of his head with her uninjured hand.
"Get off of me, or I will take-." Pain cut off of the rest of her words. Alexis looked down and saw blood running from an open gash on her stomach. For a moment, she thought Gardener would kill her, but then reminded herself that with both head and heart still intact she should be fine. But the knife he'd used was obviously silver as the skin burned where he had stabbed her-not to mention that Alexis could see the smoke mixing with blood.
"Later babe."
If she could have slapped him, she would have. But pain from silver and a huge stab wound did away with that. As Gardener left the room, Alexis groaned and turned to her side. Blood spilled onto the floor below her and seeped into carpeting. She only hoped that Gardener wasn't on his way downstairs to finish off Killian-and that the boy came upstairs soon.

"Lucky guess,"
Alyssa returned Killian's smirk. She was quite pleased to have guessed correctly. Though whether that was because she had been frustrated with the game and was glad it was now over, or because she had actually been enjoying herself was any body's guess. Alyssa felt it was probably best not to look to far into such things. It never ended well.
"Well, Killian. It was great seeing you again. Lex and Compton will be down in a minute and then you guys can be on your way. Alyssa, you ready for dinner?"
Sighing, Alyssa got to her feet and headed towards the door Gardener held open for her. She still hadn't found out what she had wanted to from Killian, but no matter, there might be another time for indulging her curiosity in the future... maybe when he didn't have two angry vampires watching his every move. "Sure," she said in answer to Gardener's question. "I'm famished."
"Right...well um have a good night...and all that,"
She could hear the impatience in the boy's voice as he took a few steps towards the stairs and she had to admit, Gardener's calm demeanor and overall good mood meant that something good had happened for him upstairs... when probably mean something not so good for the other two. "See you round, Killian," she promised with a friendly wave before exiting the shop. She turned to Gardener, an eyebrow raised. "I assume you achieved whatever it was you wanted to achieve?"

Gardener glanced back and forth between the two. He had to wonder if Alyssa had managed to get any information out of the boy. But for the moment, Gardener had two of his issues resolved. He would worry about the boy later.
"Bye Killian. Have a good trip. See you next fall." Gardener let the door fall shut as Alyssa joined him outside. Smirking at her question, he dropped an arm around her shoulders.
"I assume you achieved whatever it was you wanted to achieve?"
"Achieved quite well. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooh my dear. Neither one of them's dead, but they won't be pestering us for awhile at least. Now, how about we check out a meal?"
Gardener took a quick glance about the street. He'd had a good evening so far, it could only get better from here.
