"First of all, no, but that's my spare set of car keys. Just in case anything goes wrong-I lose my set, lock my set in the car, they get eaten by an alligator-you have a spare set. And second of all, I've been around long enough that I could both text him and send him a carrier pigeon. This is slightly faster. It's the 21st century, even vampires have to follow the time."
"There are no alligators in Salem," Killian explained attempting to think if he was forgetting anything but being that he hadn't set off to pack anything specific in the first place.
"Wait you send carrier pigeons?!...Jesus I'm not even that old," Killian replied with a smirk as the thought amused him probably much more then it should have.
"When we get back I demand a letter via carrier pigeon!"
"He'll be here soon. Let's get our stuff in the car so we're ready to get the hell out of here."
"We've got a bag a piece Lex there isn;t much to pack up," Killian answered scooping up the keys from the bed and shoving them into his pocket.
"Come on then," Killian said as he motioned her out the door so they could get to packing up the car if it made her feel better.

It had taken Ruden very little time to gather the rest of the information from the vampire and be on his way back to Alexis and the boy. Tucking the information securely in his breast pocket Ryden made the trip back to the shop in no time at all and silently slipped nback in through the alley door he had used to remain unseen before. He could hear voices from the landing and was pleased to hear and feel that all was still in its rightful place if only slightly on edge which was to be expected all things considering.
He knew he rather abrupt change of face would be a bit out of place but as a vampire Alexis would be able to sense him long before she saw him and that saved time as far as lengthy explanations went. Ryden could hear the decending foot falls and leaned against the shop counter as the pare of them were making their way down at that moment in time.
"Only myself," Ryden explained before either of the 2 were in sight as he didn't rightly make slinking about in shadows a habbit it was a skill he had gotten far too good at over the years.
"I am to assume then we are all set and ready to head off then?"

"With our luck, do you trust alligators not to appear in Salem?" Alexis turned to Killian as she took the opportunity to leave the room and gather up her bag.
Alexis rolled her eyes at Killian. She forgot how easily amused humans could be. She also forgot that she and Killian were both a lot older than they looked.
"Fine. I'll send your invitation to our party to celebrate the fact that our luck doesn't suck anymore by carrier pigeon." Alexis pushed her cell phone into her pocket. Grabbing her other set of keys from where they had been randomly discarded, she headed downstairs.
Alexis paused on the stairs when she caught scent of another vampire. Her senses picked up that it was Compton, but the figure before her looked nothing like the vampire she had previously laid eyes on. Very impressive. He obviously had a very old trait to change his appearance in such manners.
"Glad you were able to make it so quickly." She gave him a quick smile. "And that's quite different look you've taken. I like it." She pushed her bag higher onto her shoulder and glanced back in Killian's direction.
"It's just Mr. Compton. Let's get out of here."

Alyssa smiled at Gardener's compliment and watched with interest as he pulled out a few syringes filled with a dark liquid she could tell was blood... and not the good kind... and a bottle filled with some other liquid she couldn't see.
"I thought we'd need a few toys to amuse ourselves tonight. Like these, oh, and this."
Her eyes widened slightly as the sight of the knife strapped to his hip, and her lips slowly spread into a smirk. "My, you don't do things by halves, do you Mr Wild?"
She hadn't even considered weapons and, now that she thought about it, didn't think she owned any. She very rarely got into fights with other vampires and when she did she fought by hand... and usually won.
"So, with that stated, would you like to pay my acquaintances a visit?"
Still smirking, Alyssa stepped out of the cottage and took Gardener's arm, closing the door behind her. "Can't think of a better way to spend my night."

"My, you don't do things by halves, do you Mr Wild?"
Gardener smirked. He liked his supply of weapons. Not that he used them very often, but they were a good thing to have. And he and Alexis had such past tendencies to get into arguments, he'd learned to keep a few things on hand.
"Not even slightly, dear." His smirk spread across his entire face as Alyssa took his arm and accepted the offer. "And neither can I."
He led her away from the cottage and through the streets. Mortals were so naive. They had no idea the dangers which passed around them so casually.
It wasn't long before he came in view of the building where he'd encountered the boy and his friend. Nodding the direction of the shop, he stopped walking.
"That's where we're headed, Love."

"Fine. I'll send your invitation to our party to celebrate the fact that our luck doesn't suck anymore by carrier pigeon."
"You know if I don;t get one I'm gonna be heart broken," Killian teased as he clicked the light off behind him as they exited the room and headed down the stairs.
"Only myself."
Well that was the last one so it would seem like everyone was ready and all set for the trip to hell. The idea of heading to Salem continued to get worse but he figured he couldn;t....or well most likely wouldn;t throw himself from a moving car so it was best they got on the road and got it all done and over with.
Killian froze a few steps behind Alexis though as he took in the sight of a stranger in the shop. It had sounded like Compton but it certainly didn;t look like him but then again the more he learned about vampires the more he realized he had known jack squat about them to begin with.
"It's just Mr. Compton. Let's get out of here."
"If you say so," Killian answered with a shrug as he dropped his bag at his feet.
"So we ready to go to hell?" He asked with a smirk as he looked from Alexis to Compton.
This was going to suck.

"And that's quite different look you've taken. I like it."
Ryden offered Alexis a pleasent smile as she made her way down the stairs.
"I am glad you approve...also glad you seem not to take offense...my previous...facade is merely a form of security on my end," Ryden explained as he reached out and carefully took her bag from her and shouldered it himself as was the proper thing to do.
"So we ready to go to hell?"
Ryden offered the boy a smirk of his own. It was an interesting choice of words and in a very about face way also very accurate in dealing with what they would have to tackle. His dear ex wife was not the most patient and easy person to deal with and though he had an upper hand upon the situation Alexis and her human did not.
Compton silently chided himself; he needed to remind himself to classify the boy by name he was after all not a pet but was seemingly a close friend for Alexis.
"I am prepared if you two have everything you need?"

Alexis knew that Killian didn't have the senses that she did, so a sudden change of appearance in another being had to freak him out.
"Some vampires have that trait." She explained, turning to glance over her shoulder at Killian. "It's a very old trait. It's pretty cool actually. And no, don't ask, I can't do it."
She gave Compton a faint smile as he took her bag. She had to wonder again, what on earth had connected him to the vampire who had chosen to curse them? In the brief encounter Alexis had with the woman, she had quickly learned that Marisolla was anything except a lady.
"Thank you." She nodded.
"So we ready to go to hell?"
Alexis rolled her eyes. She supposed they'd be listening to these types of comments the entire way to Salem.
"Killian, it won't be that bad. And let's just get out of here."
The sooner she had a safe distance between herself and Gardener, the sooner Alexis would come to sleeping through the night. She crossed the room to the shop's door. As her hand landed on the knob, she had a sudden sense of dread. Normally she didn't ignore her instincts, but figured at this point in the game she was just being paranoid.

Alyssa noticed as they walked, that they seemed to be heading further up town. This Alexis woman must have quite a bit of money to have acquired a home in such a nice part of town... or killed the right people.
"That's where we're headed, Love."
Her eyes rested on the pleasant little shop and she smiled. "This is nice," she observed. "Might not be so much when we're done though." She'd never been known for her delicateness when she chose to pick a fight. Things often ended up broken.
"Well, let's not keep them waiting then."

Gardener admired Alyssa for never having backed down on this plan. Some vampires might have changed their minds, decided not to pick a fight with their own kind. But she was still here.
"Glad to have you on board, darling." He leaned over to kiss her temple gently. As he raised his head, his eyes skimmed over the shop. Alexis, the boy, and someone he didn't know were all moving around in the shop. And from the looks of things, they were damned close to getting out.
"Showtime." Gardener closed the distance between himself and the shop. Raising one foot, he kicked the door open and smirked as it collided directly with the center of Alexis's face and forehead.
"Where's everybody going?"

"It's a very old trait. It's pretty cool actually. And no, don't ask, I can't do it."
"Damnit and I was just going to ask you to switch over to Megan Fox...it could have made things more entertianing...for me at least," Killian explained with a smirk. He eyes Ryden for or well "Ryden" for several more moments still not exactly certain how he was feeling about the whole changing looks deal but he trusted Alexis so he would go with it.
"Killian, it won't be that bad. And let's just get out of here."
It wouldn't be that bad?
Killian arched an eyebrow in response to Alexis's statement and had to bite his tongue from responding. She didn't know exactly how bad it would be...she hadn't been there for that part...hell Salem made the last few weeks look like a pleasure cruise.
Killian for the first time in a long time held his silence and shifted his duffel further up on his shoulder as Alexis reached the door...there was no turning back now.
And then in the very next second all hell seeemed to break loose...as it currently had a habbit of doing. There was a loud bang and the door to the shop crashed opened knocking Alexis square in the face...and then a voice Killian would have been happy to forget about filled the shop and he felt all the blood drain from his face.
"Where's everybody going?"
There luck was a fucking joke.

The plan of action seemed to be progressing forward nicely which was a good turn of events indeed. Ryden had learned a very long time if a poor situation at least ran smoothly it seemingly made up for the not so bright spots within in.
"I will have to agree with Ms. London...it shall all be well and taken care of soon enough and then you both shall be free from what...literally plagues you," Ryden explained.
He followed a few steps behind Alexis as she made for the door and he cursed himself for not paying close enough attention to notcie the feel the area had taken a second before it was far too late and the door directly in front of Alexis slammed forward violently and Gardener and another vampire seemingly graced them with their presence.
Ryden had a very low tolerance for vampires who made themselves a pest and Gardener had already passed his patience point only after one meeting. He had killed far greater men...and monsters then Gardener Wild.
"Where's everybody going?"
A low feral growl forced its way past Ryden's clenched teeth as he made his way quickly to Alexis' side to make sure she was not hurt severely.
"I believe proper manners require knocking Mr. Wild," Ryden hissed.

Alexis knew that her luck had been bad enough lately, and the act of opening a door should be done with the utmost care. However, that thought didn't have long to fester as the door slammed open and collided directly with her face.
"Ow." She growled, raising her eyes to meet Gardener's as her hand moved up to the stream of blood which was now flowing from her nose. "Nice to see you again, Gardener. Has anyone ever thrown a party you weren't invited to? No? Well consider this the first."
Her immediate reaction was to tell Killian to get out of the room. But she knew Gardener was fast. He'd have enough time to move when the words left her mouth. Instead, she made sure she was clearly positioned between Killian and the other two vampires.

Alyssa entered the shop behind Gardener and moved to stand beside him, examining the three people in front of her. There was a female vampire who had to be Alexis, now with a bleeding nose due to Gardener's well aimed kick to the door. The young human who was her pet, and quite the curiosity. And... another vampire, that was unexpected.
"You didn't mention the other one," she said, giving Gardener a side ways look before returning her attention to the vampire at Alexis' side. She had been surprised but now her eyes flashed with excitement. Another vampire meant more of a challenge. And Alyssa did love a challenge.
"Not that it matters I suppose." She turned to the human and looked him up and down. Well, he looked positively delicious, didn't he? And Alyssa wondered how many feedings it would take to get him to stay dead... hopefully a lot.

Gardener was pleased with his kick. It had not only made contact, but drawn blood in the process.
"Aw darling, I'm so sorry." He reached over and wiped a smear of blood from Alexis's face. "I'm sure your friend here will help you clean it up." He wiped the hand across the front of the other vampire's shirt.
"I believe proper manners require knocking Mr. Wild,"
"Compton." The realization hit him instantly. "I didn't realize he'd be here." He slipped an arm around Alyssa's waist, drawing her closer to him. "I thought he would have been on his way by now. Something-or someone-is keeping him about."
Gardener kept his glare on Alexis before briefly allowing his eyes to drift back to the main course human being.
"We all know one another, but allow me to introduce my friend Miss Scarani. This would be Alexis, Compton and Quarter Pounder....or whatever the hell his human name is. Miss Scarani was the one who was so thoughtful as to help me out after the mess our last meeting left me in."
