Killian stood silently in his spot as it seemed as if the party just continued on growing. He was near enough to the stairs to for the moment be out of reach and that might have been a good or a bad thing...the jury was still out on that one. But really in all honesty all the stairs gave him was the chance to go...well upstairs where there was no way out...he had at least learned something from horror movies over time.
His attention was snapped back to the woman Gardener had brought with him and he looked away from her as she seemed to size him up and that was never really a good thing when it came to vampires.
"We all know one another, but allow me to introduce my friend Miss Scarani. This would be Alexis, Compton and Quarter Pounder....or whatever the hell his human name is. Miss Scarani was the one who was so thoughtful as to help me out after the mess our last meeting left me in."
Wonderful Gardener was making friends.
"Well it's good to see you found a "Dumber" to go along with your "Dumb" there Gardener," Killian snapped his eyes locking on the vampire who he had really held out hope had been dead.
Killian was pretty certain his best course of action would be to shut up and behave...but even after year after year after year he never really was a fan of the best course of action.

Ryden pulled a hankerchief from his pocket and handed it to Alexis so that she could stem the blood flow which trickeled from her nose; he did his best to for the moment ignore Wild's over the top entrance and the man's overall lack of tact. Honestly this hardly seemed to be a circus thus rendeering the theatrics un-needed.
"You didn't mention the other one."
Ryden allowed his eyes to snap quickly over the only stranger in the room and he felt pity for the vampire who had managed to entangle herself with the likes of Wild it would only lead to a premature death one of these go arounds.
"I didn't realize he'd be here. I thought he would have been on his way by now. Something-or someone-is keeping him about."
"Yes well my affairs are my own and you two should have called as would have been proper because you see Mr. Wild we are on our way out so if you would kindly remove yourselves from the shop we can be on our way...I will not ask again," Ryden stated his vocie even and calm and very much void of any and all emotion and his eyes never leaving Gardener for a moment.
"And simply for your future knowledge...not that there will be a cause to speak with him; the boys name is Killian," Ryden explained as within the blink of an eye he had moved himself directly in front of Gardener.

Alexis frowned as Gardener's hand fell on her face. As much as his hands on her disguested her, she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of pulling away.
"Well it's good to see you found a "Dumber" to go along with your "Dumb" there Gardener,"
Alexis turned and glanced over her shoulder at Killian, giving him a stern look. The boy was borderline having a death wish. Gardener was bad, but she had no idea what the other vampire-Alyssa as Gardener had introduced her- might be like.
"Thanks." Alexis took the handkerchief Ryden had offered her. "And Mr. Compton is correct on both aspects, Gardener: we have business to attend to and there is no need for you to speak with Killian. May I suggest you take your lady friend and be on your way?"
It disturbed her to see Ryden putting himself so close to Gardener, but she was certain he could handle him. That still left Gardener's friend, who had been eyeing up Killian. Alexis balled up the handkerchief and slipped it into her pocket since the blood flow had slowed. She took a step sideways which put her directly between Alyssa and Killian.
"Killian, I don't see much need for you to be apart of this meeting. Find a door-use it."

"Well it's good to see you found a "Dumber" to go along with your "Dumb" there Gardener,"
Alyssa's gaze darkened and she stepped away from Gardener and towards the human boy. "You're a rude little happy meal, aren't you?" she asked, tilting her head to the side slightly. "I wonder, do you want me to eat you?"
"...May I suggest you take your lady friend and be on your way?"
Her eyes refocused on Alexis as the other vampire put herself between Alyssa and the boy, and she examined the vampire in front of her. "And it might interest you to know I can hear everything you're saying," she said calmly. "No need to talk about me like I'm not here." Her gaze slid passed Alexis, towards Killian again and she licked her lips slightly before returning her attention to Alexis. "What's so special about this one that not one but two vampires refuse to eat him?"

It was all Gardener could do to keep from attacking all three of them. He had minimal patience in this situation-and what little he had left was rapidly running out of the door.
"Well it's good to see you found a "Dumber" to go along with your "Dumb" there Gardener,"
Gardener's eyes snapped towards the boy. He opened his mouth to make a comment, but closed it as Alyssa spoke.
"That he is indeed, Alyssa. That he is indeed. The boy seems to think his cleaver words will save him-but the fact is that will only work when these two are involved."
He motioned to Compton who now stood directly in front of him, and then to Alexis who was now of course protecting the child.
"She's quite right, Alexis. Don't take offense of it, Alyssa. Alexis's pride has long sense been one of her downfalls. While she sees it totally appropriate that she's running about with humans, the thought of me with a female vampire is completely unheard of."
Gardener took his eyes from the boy and turned them directly to Compton's. Glaring directly into the other vampire's eyes, Gardener shook his head and kept his tone as even and emotion void as the other man's.
"No. After our last meeting, I believe I'm owed an apology-from all three of you. And Alyssa's question is valid. The child tasted fine to me. There's no reason why you should both turn him down. So what's the deal? Why do we side with him over our own kind?"
Gardener folded his arms across his chest and took a defiant stand. If any of the three of them thought they were leaving, it would be through him.
"If you want me to leave, Compton, you're going to have to make me."

Killian rolled his eyes in response to the stern look Alexis shot his way. He was never one to just sit and shut up even if it would be in his best interest to do so.
"Killian, I don't see much need for you to be apart of this meeting. Find a door-use it."
As tempting of an offer as that was Killian couldn't in good faith take her up on it. He was after all the only one in the room who could die and not stay dead. He didn't feel like dying......again but the truth of the matter was that he still had 2 lives left and he wasn't just going to hightail it from the room because Gardener was PMSing again.
"You're a rude little happy meal, aren't you?"
"Really? Again with the McDonalds jokes? You guys are going to need better material," Killian said with a smirk as Alexis positioned herself between the vampire and him.
"No. After our last meeting, I believe I'm owed an apology-from all three of you. And Alyssa's question is valid. The child tasted fine to me. There's no reason why you should both turn him down. So what's the deal? Why do we side with him over our own kind?"
"AN APOLOGY?!" The shout was past his lips before Killian could stop himself but even if his words hadn;t sliced through the air his expression would have made its point.
"You are out of your damn mind! You came here to kill Alexis and kill me as a friggin side dish! And just for the record there is plenty of reason not to eat me.....I'M NOT A RACK OF LAMB!"
Killian could feel his anger boiling within him as his hands clasped against his side he was really growing tired of being look at as the appetizer in the room.

Ryden did not allow Wild to slip from his sight; it would have been rather difficult nay how because of the close stance he held with the other vampire.
"What's so special about this one that not one but two vampires refuse to eat him?"
"He is not mine nor is he yours to consume," Ryden explained his vocie harsh yet very calm as well it was an eerie effect he had mastered long ago.
Ryden did his best to ignore Killian's outburst as it was really not helping their current situation but just the same he could see where the boy could be frusturated; but it was the breaks he took with being a human...in a room full of vampires.
"No. After our last meeting, I believe I'm owed an apology-from all three of you. And Alyssa's question is valid. The child tasted fine to me. There's no reason why you should both turn him down. So what's the deal? Why do we side with him over our own kind?"
"Because Alexis has claimed him as her own therefor he belongs to her and not another soul."
Ryden was glad he had asked Alexis to claim Killian as it was now a rather vital point to bring up in the covnersation though it would be useless if the vampires before them cared little for the laws of the old age.
"If you want me to leave, Compton, you're going to have to make me."
"I will only ask you one more time to leave Wild...and then I will not be responsible for my actions," Ryden growled as he took one final step till he was directly in front of Gardener his hand striking out like a snake and clamping around the other vampires arm.
"Be on your way."

Killian apparently wasn't going to learn. Nor was he going to leave. Alexis had every intention of turning around and dragging Killian upstairs, or out the back door. But that would most likely lead to being followed. She figured that was a bad idea too.
"KILL-I-AN." Alexis stated without turning around. His outbursts were continuing and she could only imagine how well they would go over with the other vampires.
"Because Alexis has claimed him as her own therefor he belongs to her and not another soul."
"That I did." Alexis turned from Alyssa to Gardener. "He belongs to me. So I'll kindly ask that you both stop speaking about him like he's some type of sandwich you'll pick up on the way back to your caves."
Alexis flinched slightly as Ryden's hand fell on Gardener. She had every desire in the world to go to his side and force Gardener out the door. Surely it could be done with only a few scratches. But going to Ryden's side meant leaving Killian in full view of Gardener's friend. She had no idea what the other vampire was capable of, so for the moment she stayed put.

"Because Alexis has claimed him as her own therefor he belongs to her and not another soul."
Alyssa automatically took a step back. It may have taken her longer than most to learn the laws of their kind but learn them she had, unfortunately. If Alexis had claimed the boy then eating him wasn't an option. Though disappointed, she could live with that. However, she turned back to Gardener briefly and raised an eye brow at him. He hadn't mentioned that fun little fact.
When she turned back to the vampire and the now not-meal, she kept her focus on Alexis, she hadn't eaten yet and she was afraid that if her gaze lingered too long on Killian, she wouldn't be able to help herself. Being claimed meant he was off the menu... though she still thought Alexis had gone too far in trying to protect him.
Then, there was the whole reason she had come here with Gardener in the first place. Besides relishing the opportunity of violence, his tale of the boy had made her extremely curious.
"Why is he alive?" she asked, getting to the point. "Gardener assures me he killed him yet here he stands... I'm mostly just curious and I'll be on my way when I learn how he managed to survive."

Gardener was getting tired of this banter, tired of the human's ramblings and more than tired of Compton touching him.
"Take your hands off of me." He growled, before the realization of what Compton had stated and Alexis had confirmed soaked in.
"WHAT?" Shock and anger took instant control over his features. Gardener didn't really give a damn about the old laws. But he did give a damn about being a good vampire. And if he went about breaking the old laws, he was no better than Alexis. Meeting Alyssa's gaze, he shook his head in his own amazement.
"That adds quite a bit to the predicament. When did you pull this fun little trick?" He grabbed Compton's hand with one of his and shoved other vampire away from him. He crossed the room in a few strides and caught Alexis firmly around the neck.
"Did you have him claimed all along?" He asked, tightening his grasp until his fingers cut into her flesh. "Did you let me break a vampire law?"

"KILL-I-AN."
"Fine," Killian snapped back at Alexis before silencing himself he figured she had a point he was more then likely only adding insult to injury...but seriosuly he wasn't a hamburger.
"Because Alexis has claimed him as her own therefor he belongs to her and not another soul."
Killian's head shot up and a look of clear and yet dumbfounded surprise filled his face as he stared from Ryden to Alexis.
......apprently he had missed something.
"He belongs to me. So I'll kindly ask that you both stop speaking about him like he's some type of sandwich you'll pick up on the way back to your caves."
"Can I at least ask what my going price was?" Killian muttered under his breath wondering when in the hell this had all gone down. But he carefully watched the reaction the statement had upon Gardener and his friend and it obviously had been a good move on the part of Alexis and Ryden.
"Why is he alive? Gardener assures me he killed him yet here he stands... I'm mostly just curious and I'll be on my way when I learn how he managed to survive."
"Well now that is getting awfully personal," Killian stated his eyes locking back on to the vampire that Gardener had brought along with him.
"Besides maybe Gardener here just sucks...no pun intended at his job," Killian explained with a shrug.
Gardener was on Alexis before Killian could process what was going on but he had a distinct feeling this was not going to end well...again.

"Take your hands off of me."
"Gladly once you see yourself and your lady friend out," Ryden responded coldly.
Ryden was pleased that the news that Alexis had claimed Killian had its desired effect upon the 2 vampires he was very glad indeed as it at least put a few good marks on their side in this fight.
"That adds quite a bit to the predicament. When did you pull this fun little trick?"
A low growl sounded from deep within Ryden's throat as Wild shoved him aside and clamped his hands around Alexis' neck.
"Did you let me break a vampire law?"
Ryden was far past tired of this monster laying his hands about where-ever he saw fit and his ideals of being a proper gentleman only went so far. Within the blink of an eye Ryden was behind Alyssa and he grabbed her roughly by the neck holding her within his grasp roughly and applying pressure just so that if he so desired he could break her head clean from her body.
"Un-hand her or I will see to it that your lady meets whatever fate you have in store for Alexis...and then I shall come for you," Ryden explained his vocie a harsh growl his eyes darkening with anger so much so that they nearly appeared black.

Alexis smirked and folded her arms over her chest. Apparently the claiming had done the trick. Neither vampire seemed to be inclined to break the law. That was extremely good news for Killian.
"Did you let me break a vampire law?"
Before she could comprehend what was happening, Gardener was in front of her and his hands wrapped around around throat. Alexis choked, but kept her glare firm on his. There were only a handful of ways Gardener could kill her-and strangulation wasn't one of them.
"What if I did?" She gasped as she raised her hands to the ones Gardener had around her throat. She dug her nails into his skin, feeling the flesh break.
"Un-hand her or I will see to it that your lady meets whatever fate you have in store for Alexis...and then I shall come for you,"
Alexis met Ryden's eyes. She was not sure she liked this plan. She had no idea what Gardener's attachment to the other woman was, but she suspected that if it had been her in that position, Gardener would have let her head be severed.

"Well now that is getting awfully personal,"
Alyssa's eyes snapped back to the boy, dark with hunger, but she forced herself to stay still. She wouldn't be breaking any laws if she could help it. "Me and boundaries never got on very well," she said simply, taking another small step back from him.
"Besides maybe Gardener here just sucks...no pun intended at his job,"
Alyssa snorted with what might have been laughter had it not been a really inappropriate time to be laughing at a humans bad jokes. He really needed to stop drawing attention to himself because she only had so much self control. She turned away from him entirely, and though she could still smell him, she forced herself to focus on whatever it was going on between Gardener and Alexis. She raised an eyebrow as Gardener grabbed Alexis by the throat but before she could say or do anything, the other vampire that she had inadvertently turned her back on when turning away from Killian, had her by the throat. His grip was strong and she knew that if he was fast enough he could snap her neck and that would be incredibly inconvenient.
"Un-hand her or I will see to it that your lady meets whatever fate you have in store for Alexis...and then I shall come for you,"
Alyssa attempted a sigh but Compton's grip was to tight and it came out more of a choke. She highly doubted that Gardener cared enough about her well being to pass up killing Alexis. Not that it mattered, just because she was probably the youngest vampire in the room didn't mean she was a novice. She looked at Gardener, and tried silently to let him know she didn't care either way.

Gardener had no desire other than to rip Alexis's head off. As her nails dug into his skin, he tightened his grasp. But his head jerked in the direction of Compton's voice. He frowned as he saw that the other vampire had Alyssa's throat in the same grasp. This provided a bit of a predicament.
Gardener wanted nothing more than the revenge he had come here for. But he felt as though he owed Alyssa for the help she had offered him on their first meting. And owning her did not include getting her killed. If he did in fact want his revenge, then he was going to have to take a different approach.
"Apologies" Gardener let go of Alexis's throat and held his hands up to Compton. "Obviously, our last meeting has left me more than a little irritated. You understand the feeling, right Killian?"
He crossed the room and draped an arm around Killian's shoulders. Turning back to the other three, he shrugged.
"You can't blame the boy for attacking vampires. It's what they've been trained to do. What was that show?" He looked at Killian for assistance, tapping the boy's chest with his opposite hand. "Muffy...Fluffy...Buffy...that's it. Buffy the Vampire Slayer-right there, human's being taught to attack vampires. Can't fault that. But vampires attacking other vampires, that's a problem."
Gardener moved his arm from the human, trying not to cringe at the smell which was now on his clothing. Strolling over, he took Alexis's hand and led her towards Compton and Alyssa.
"There's no need to spill innocent blood of our own kind, Mr. Compton. This matter is between you, myself and Alexis. Now why don't you unhand her, and you, myself and Ms. London can discuss our previous meeting privately? We'll sort out the details, leave Killian and Alyssa to get to know one another, and then you three can be on your way with all this unpleasantness behind us."
He held out Alexis's hand to Compton as he raised an eyebrow questioningly.
"Deal? Or no deal?"
