Alyssa gave the blonde woman a warm smile and asked politely if she could try on the shoes. The saleswoman examined her feet briefly before hurrying off to find shoes that matched her size. As she did so, Alyssa's eyes sweapt the store again and she frowned at the large shop window that she and Gardener had been viewing the store from the outside. The window would be problematic, with potential witnesses constantly walking by and staring through the window... they would have to lead their victims to a more private part of the store.
"Thank you," Alyssa said, as the blonde woman appeared the a pair of correctly sized shoes. Locating the nearest chair, Alyssa sat down and switched her shoes, deciding the new ones were perfect. "Is it okay if I wander about the store in them?" The saleswoman nodded her ascent and Alyssa moved herself from the chair and moved about the store, trying to locate an alternative to the middle of the store.
She crossed the room to Gardener and placed a hand on his shoulder, smiling at the man he was speaking too before kissing him on the cheek and whispering in his ear, "Do we have a plan be to taking everyone in full view of the street?"

The man Gardener had approached was apparently waiting for another man to enter the store, because as soon as Gardener had gotten close, the man had started in about the details of his vaction, where they were staying, and the like.
Gardener hated it when humans bored him. He didn't have much tolerance for them anyway, and when they rambled it got worse. He was too pleased when Alyssa made her way over to him.
"Well, those are lovely." He complemented the shoes as she whispered lightly in his ear.
Now the window was a bit of a predicament. Gardener took a quick glance around the store to weigh their options. The backroom was an option, but would probably only work well for the sales woman. Getting the others back there would take too much effort. It took him a few minutes of surveying his surroundings before his eyes fell on a small spiral staircase which appeared to lead to a second floor.
"Excuse me, but what would I find up there?" He called over to the blonde sales woman. As the woman informed him that it was the men's section, Gardener nodded his approval.
"I think I'm going to investigate up there." He told Alyssa, running his fingers lightly along her arm. "Care to join me and tell me more of your vacation?" He turned to the human who seemed to have attached himself to the vampire.

An upstairs section certainly solved the window problem, although getting the women into the men's section would be alittle difficult. Not impossible, just difficult. At the very least it got the man out of the way.
"I think I'm going to investigate up there."
Alyssa nodded and smiled at him. "Have fun, darling," she said cheerfully before turning her attention to the red-headed woman with the handbags who seemed to be confused, both about why her husband was not enjoying the store as much as she was, and what handbags actually looked good.
She stepped towards the woman, enjoying the sound of the heels on the hard floor of the store, and looked her over. After a moment, she grabbed one of the bags, a small black clutch with a nice chain and a turn lock, and handed it to her. "Try this one," she suggested, politely. "It would suit you better."

Gardener gave Alyssa a quick wink before heading for the staircase. Sure enough, his new friend followed. He kept silent for a few moments, but the second both men reached the top of the stairs the human's impressions of Paris began pouring out.
"Yes, it's a city very rich in culture and history." Gardener said dutifully. "Very old. Full of history."
He picked up a suit jacket and examined it. He supposed it looked nice, but it had to be terribly expensive. Gardener took the jacket off of the hanger and shrugged it on. He took in his reflection in the mirror. Not bad. He'd only walk out of the store with it so long as Alyssa approved.
Now the human began going on about the cost of things in the store and how the handbags his wife was looking at would cost more than one of their house payments. Gardener nodded uninterested.
"Very expensive." He agreed. The man took that as another opportunity to keep talking.
"Enough." One of his hands reached out and caught the man's neck. Quickly hitting the pressure point, the man collapsed unconcious to the floor.
"Thanks." He dragged the body over an out of service counter. Heading back downstairs, he paused on the first step.
"What do you think?" He motioned to the jacket he wore.

The woman was boring. She chatted idly as she examined the hand bag Alyssa had handed her and Alyssa fought to keep the polite smile on her face. It took all of her energy not to rip the woman's throat out where she stood, but Alyssa knew better than that. She wasn't stupid enough to kill a human in full view of other humans that she couldn't gaurantee wouldn't also be killed. So she would wait.
"Yes, congratulations," Alyssa said through her teeth as the woman prattled about her wedding. The woman didn't seem to notice Alyssa's strained tone because she continued her constant train of thought and Alyssa vaguely wondered if the woman had even drawn a breath since she began talking.
"What do you think?"
Relieved by the distraction, Alyssa turned from the woman to the stairs and examined Gardener and the new jacket he wore. "Not bad," she said, nodding approvingly. "Not bad at all."
The woman said something Alyssa didn't really hear but it caused her to realise Gardener was alone. "Where's your friend?"

Gardener got the intense sensation that Alyssa was doing her damndest not to rip the human's throat out. He gave her a knowing smile.
"Thank you darling. And as for my friend, he found a suit upstairs that he was highly intrigued with. You should go up," Gardener turned his attention to the woman, "it looks amazing. And I'm certain he'd be more than pleased to see that."
Gardener nodded to the handbag the woman was carrying before turning and heading back towards the stairs.
"Care to join me, darling?" He asked, quickly turning his gaze to Alyssa. "You know I need all the fashion help I can get."

Judging from the look Gardener gave her, he was as annoyed by human chatter as she was. She also thought that perhaps he was now alone not because the man had found himself a suit, but because Gardener had grown tired of him. Either way, it would get the woman up the stairs and out of view of the street.
"Care to join me, darling? You know I need all the fashion help I can get."
Alyssa laughed slightly. "Of course, love." She allowed the woman to go past her and up the stairs before taking Gardener's arm and heading up the stairs herself. "You know, I think I'm hungrier than I thought I was."

Gardener smiled as Alyssa took his arm and started up the stairs.
"You know, I think I'm hungrier than I thought I was."
"Well darling, I think dinner will be much sooner than you anticipated." He brushed his lips lightly against her cheek.
They had reached the top of the stairs. Gardener had to restrain himself from laughing at the woman's confused expression at not seeing her husband.
"Where on earth could he have gotten off to?" Gardener strolled over to the woman's side. "He was right up here when I went downstairs."

Alyssa was getting a little impatient. Not with Gardener, of course, but she was actually quite hungry, and she was quite excited to get to the top of the eiffel tower, having never done so before. When they reached the men's section and Gardener's friend was no where to be seen, Alyssa realised her guess had been right and Gardener had done something with him. She watched him get closer to the woman and decided her best option for sating her hunger was to find the man and deal with him first.
It took her a moment, but she managed to sniff him out and she pulled his unconscious body to it's feet and looked him over. Still alive, she noticed, which was good. She wasn't really in the mood for food poisoning. Deciding dragging him out of his current hiding place was probably not a good idea, in case Gardener couldn't silence the woman in time. So instead, Alyssa, silently sunk her fangs into the unconscious man's neck. He awoke groggily, but could not make a noise, and instead attempted to struggle. Alyssa paid no attention to his vain attempts at escape and finished him off quicly. She dropped him to the floor with a quiet thud, wiped her mouth of any possible drops of blood, and stepped out of the hiding place.
"I think it's time we hurried this along, don't you think, dear?" she said, smiling innocently. "I'd quite like to see the tower some time before dawn."

Gardener watched Alyssa's movements closely. Her senses would guide her directly to the man's unconscious form. As she neared the man, Gardener stepped closer to the woman. Her scent immediately lit up his hunger. Raising one hand, he dropped it over her mouth.
"Don't fight me, dear. I'm just going to assure that you and your husband are together forever."
With those words, he set his teeth quickly into the woman's throat. She made a faint squeal, and attempted to struggle, but his hands held her firmly. After a few seconds, the woman's body went limp against him. Gardener lifted the body and carried it over to Alyssa.
"I'm ready. She did more than peak my hunger." He laid the woman's body next to her husband's and wiped his mouth quickly on the back of his hand. Reaching down, he detangled the handbag the woman held in one lifeless hand and handed it over to Alyssa.
"I've had my eye on the sales girl for some time. I was going to save her for last, but if you're interested in the other couple, I can take her now."

Alyssa grinned as Gardener handed her the handbag the woman had been holding.
"You shouldn't have," she said coyly, tucking the bag under her arm and stepping back towards the door to the room, peaking down the stairs and into the main room. It appeared no body had noticed anything strange. Fantastic. She couldn't wait to see the newspaper article on this the next day.
"I've had my eye on the sales girl for some time. I was going to save her for last, but if you're interested in the other couple, I can take her now."
"Oh no, save her for last, darling," she said, turning back to him. "She'll be so terrified by that point she'll no doubt taste fantastic." Tapping her chin thoughtfully, she looked down at the dead woman on the ground, then over in the direction of the dead man.
"We can take the other couple together, if you like... though I'm not entirely sure how to get them up here..."

Gardener smiled as he leaned against the wall. He was so pleased to have met Alyssa. Their Paris vacation was going just as he had planned. He really couldn't have been more pleased-and didn't think he had been in hundreds of years.
"We can take the other couple together, if you like... though I'm not entirely sure how to get them up here..."
"A good point. I'm not sure how they'll just walk up the stairs with us when their fellow shoppers are MIA."
Gardener stared towards the stairs which led downstairs as he thought. "I could subdue them both, if you can distract the sales' girl. If we can get her into the back room, I could render both of them unconscious. We lock her in, drag them out of sight, finish them off, and then I'll take out our dear girl and we'll be on our way. What do you think?"

Alyssa was enjoying herself a great deal. It had been quite sometime since she killed for something other than food... that fact that she was eating her victims at the moment was beside the point. It was a method... and a bonus. What she was enjoying was the sport of it though.
"I could subdue them both, if you can distract the sales' girl. If we can get her into the back room, I could render both of them unconscious. We lock her in, drag them out of sight, finish them off, and then I'll take out our dear girl and we'll be on our way. What do you think?"
Alyssa thought for a moment before nodding. "Sounds good," she said, stepping closer to him and kissing him briefly before disappearing down the stairs in search of the sales girl. Her eyes swept the store for the blonde woman and, when she had located her, put on her best 'customer-in-need-of-help' face as she approached her.
"Excuse me," she said, smiling at the woman. "I think these shoes are a tad small... do you have them in a size bigger?" The woman said she thought there may be some in the back room and went to look. Alyssa following closely behind.

Gardener was in the process of enjoying Alyssa's agreement when her kiss pushed him over the edge. Fate seemed to have sealed itself that this was totally his evening.
"It's a good time in Paris, Gardener." He shook his head as he strolled back downstairs.
He knew that his first act of business had to be getting the couple out of the street's view. He couldn't have them collapsing to the floor with dozens of people lurking outside the window. And if he just started up a casual conversation, that got a bit more suspicious. Noting the woman's purse sitting on a chair, Gardener thought of an idea.
Walking towards it, he accidently bumped into the chair, sending the purse and its contents flying.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." Gardener did his best apologetic impression. "Really, total accident." As the man reached down to help, Gardener pointed in the direction of the back room's doorway. "You know, I think something might have rolled over there."
As the man turned to find out, Gardener grabbed the woman, clamped his hand over her mouth and pulled her to a corner.
"Hush darling." He quickly hit the pressure point on her neck and knocked her unconcious. Tucking her body under the stairs, he walked to her husband and nearly dragged him into the back room.
"Silence." He murmured, dropping the man into unconciousness. "I will kill you."

As soon as Alyssa and the sales girl were in the back room and out of sight, Alyssa grabbed the woman by the waist and clamped a hand down over her mouth to silence any attempt at a scream. Screaming was irritating, and it drew unnecessary attention. Tilting the woman's head to the side and baring her neck, Alyssa lowered her head and drew in the woman's scent.
"Well you smell wonderful," she said. "No wonder he wants you."
The woman, whose heart was already beating as fast as it could without killing her, began trembling with fear. Which of course just made her smell even better. Alyssa entertained the idea of taking the woman herself, but decided that Gardener probably wouldn't be very happy with her if she did.
She heard a thud that could have been a body dropping to the floor and popped her head out the door of the room. The human man was crumpled on the floor at Gardener's feet, the human woman no where in sight.
"Darling, did you want her unconscious or did you want her to watch?" she asked, nodding the woman in her arms.
