"I am a hunter." Bianca reached up to wrap a piece of hair around her wrist. "I find my own cases. A lot of my friends gear me towards them, and I hang out on a lot of websites to pick up stuff. I like it. Well, I wish I could do something else, but it's not bad."
A small squirrel scampered across the sidewalk nearby. Bianca smiled. It was so cute to see those kinds of animals in Central Park. It never seemed to amaze her that they could be in the city.
"I get to travel, and that's cool. But sometimes, it gets very exhausting. You know, I wish I could just settle down and do nothing. But I like the supernatural. It's kind of fun."

The way Bianca described hunting was very different to the way Jamie described it. He always said he did it because he had to, it wasn't fun it was dangerous. But it was necessary, peoples lives depended on it. Flick was pretty sure he only added the 'not fun' part of the lecture so she would stop asking him to let her go with him.
"I wish I could go hunting," Flick said. "But the lack of eyesight apparently puts me at a disadvantage and I'm not allowed. So instead I stay home and talk to ghosts while Jamie goes off on his adventures without me."
Flick picked up her cane and pushed herself to her feet. "Well, I should start heading home," she said, then turned back to Bianca. "You still want that hot chocolate? It's on the way."

"You're not missing much." Bianca said. "You still get the supernatural experience, but without the threat of a demon taking your head off."
Bianca climbed to her feet as Felicity made the movements to head off. She was surprised. This had become a more relaxing event than she'd thought she could ever have. It was extremely unexpected for her to meet someone she could talk to. Especially about these subjects.
"Sounds great." Bianca slung her messenger bag across her body. "Hey, if Jamie's a hunter, do you think you could give him my phone number? It's always good to build up a network. Just in case he ever needs any help or anything. I might have mixed with something he hasn't seen."

Flick laughed slightly. "So I've been told," she said. And it was fair enough, she understood why Jamie kept her out of hunting but still, it would be interesting to try it.
She made to start down the path but paused slightly and stepped back out of the way of an oncoming cyclist before continuing on.
"Sure, no problem," she said when Bianca mentioned giving her number to Jamie. "Jamie always likes to build up his contacts. I know he doesn't like to admit it, but there are some things he just can't handle alone." Her cane hit the ground in front her her at a steady rhythm as she walked down the path, the sun still warm on her back. She knew she would have to deal with the woman's ghost sooner or later, but for now she was going to pretend she was relatively normal.

Bianca followed beside the blind girl. It still amazed her how well she knew what was ahead of her, like when Flick stopped to dodge away from an oncoming cyclist. Bianca figured chances were that she would have been so caught up in her own thoughts, she would have been run over.
"Good deal. I'll write down my number for you." Bianca's eyes turned to the little boy's ghost. He was moving closer to her now. She could seem him smiling at her. He knew full well she could see him.
"There's a little boy off to my right." Bianca murmured to Felicity. "He looks happy enough, I think he just wants someone to play with him. He doesn't seem like he's used to people knowing he's around."

Flick paused when Bianca mentioned the boy. She hadn’t noticed him at first but now she could feel him coming towards them.
“Well, he’s welcome to join us,” she said. “If we can find a way of making us look non-crazy that would be a bonus.” This boy’s ghost certainly felt a lot more cheerful than the previous ghost and would be a lot easier to deal with right now.
“I’m always up for entertaining small children.”

Bianca glanced towards the boy and shot him a small smile. She subtly beckoned towards him with one hand. He didn't waste any time. He joined them and bounced around her side. Quickly, she stepped to his other side so that he was between she and Flick. That way, it would look more like they were talking to one another rather than a little boy only they could see.
"I'm Bianca. This is Felicity." Bianca smiled down at him. "You want to play?"
The little boy nodded anxiously and ran ahead of them. He turned to look back at them and grin.
"I think he wants us to follow him." Bianca looked at Flick. "I guess we can walk after him for awhile. He seems pretty excited we can see him."

Felicity smiled. The little boys excitement was contagious and she felt her mood lifting immediately.
"Following him is fine," she said, she wondered what the little boy's story was. He seemed so happy despite being dead, it was interesting.
"Where exactly are we following him to?"

"Oh, we'll just let him figure that out." Bianca never took her eyes off the little boy in front of them. Something ahead of him caught her eye. She had a suspicion of where they were going. Raising her hand, Bianca pointed ahead of them.
The little boy's spirit glanced over his shoulder and he nodded enthusiastically. Bianca smiled back at him and nodded.
"We're going to the duck pond just ahead of us." She told Flick. "I wonder how he died. It seems so odd for him to be here. I hope his body isn't out there somewhere."
He seemed like such a happy little boy, Bianca hoped that wherever his family was, they knew his fate.
