Alexis groaned. Killian had just saved one aspect, but he had probably damned himself. As Gardener turned to face her, Alexis knew it was over.
"Gardener, you don't-." Alexis stopped. She was not having much luck with dead man's blood as of late and did not want to experience it yet again. "Don't."
It was the only word she got out before Gardener immediately disposed of the syringe. But Alexis suspected she knew what was still in the bag. Suddenly, Gardener's hand was around her wrist. She made one attempt at twisting against his strength before she felt the burning agony slice through her skin.
Alexis screamed, pulling back from the silver that was now burning her skin from the inside. Blood began to spill across the counter, forming a dark pool under her hand.
Through the pain, Alexis glanced at Killian. She knew immediately what Gardener was about to do.
"Killian!" She tried to bring herself to pull the knife out of her hand, but the burn on the unpinned one sent her pulling back and tugging on the already injured flesh.

Killian was completely confused as to what the hell broke loose in the next few moments. One second Gardener had been infront of him asking about the stupid necklace and then the next moment he had been infront of Alexis...and then the next moment was when the world had broke loose and hell had reigned down apprently.
Before he even knew what had happened a scream pierced through the shop and Killian stared wide eyed at the silver dagger that now lay jammed through Alexis's hand pinning her to the counter. They were beyond screwed.
"Alexis!" Killian made a motion to attempt to help her but before he could make any sort fo movement he felt himself yanked off of the counter and staring diwn the vampire that had a death grip on the front of his shirt.
"Speaking of people and their hands...you need to invest time in people's personal space dude," Killian muttered as he attempted to pry the vampires hands off of him but had no success in even getting the thing to budge.
As Killian heard Alexis scream out his name he knew he was in trouble but god damnit he wasn't going down without a fight. Reaching down quickly Killian yanked the flask of holy water from his pocket and yanked the cap off splashing the liquid right in Gardener's face.

Gardener was highly amused by the sudden terror that gripped both Alexis and the useless human.
"Oh, she'll be fine." He laughed, shaking his head, as the boy tried to pry his hands away. "Alexis has had her fair share of silver burns. If you knew her, you'd know that."
Suddenly, Gardener felt a searing pain in his face. It undoubtedly came from whatever the boy had chosen to throw at him. Holy water.
"Son of a b!tch!" Gardener threw the boy to the floor. His hands pressed up to rub the burning pain away from his face as his fangs extended automatically.
"Boy, that was highly uncalled for." Gardener threw himself to the floor on top of the boy. He was really angry now. He could feel holy water burns on his face, as well as the scent of burning flesh. Well, part of that might have been Alexis mixing with the silver, but he wasn't going to split rabbits.
"I'm about to do something I've been dying to do since I walked in here." Gardener leaned forward and without warning, set his teeth into the boy's throat.

Killian slammed against the floor...hard as the vampire htrew him the holy water that was burning the son fo a bitch holding his attention like Killian had hoped it would have. Apprently his luck wasn't totally bad.
Killian froze in fear as the vampires fang's extended in response to the holy water assult...awesome things were getting even worse and that had to take some sort of effort because life was already pretty shitty. Killian attempted to pull himself to his feet and get to Alexis and try to free her so they would have a fighting chance but he never got the chance as Gardener was upon him much quicker then he would have banked on.
"I thought it worked besides I was trying to inhance your face you undead prick," Killian growled out as the vampire pinned himself above him. Killian struggeled to hold on to his anger and not let fear get the best of him as he struggeled wildly trying to get himself away from the vampire his body fighting with everything he had to get free.
"I'm about to do something I've been dying to do since I walked in here."
Killian's fighting stopped and his eyes grew wide with fear as he realized what the vampire meant to do and in the very next second his frantic figthing resumed but he was no match and the vampire was far too quick.
An agonizing scream tore its way from Killian before he could attempt to stop it as he felt the vampire's teeth tear into his throat. Killian's eyes grew wide as his back arched off the floor in pain as his body convulsed in an attempt to get away from the searing pain which was tearing through his neck.

Alexis attempted to coach herself into pulling the knife out of her hand. She had to. She had to get it out. It had to come out. She just had to do it.
Bracing herself, Alexis paused for a moment and then wrapped her hand around the knife's blade. She hissed as her fangs reacted to the pain the silver sent through her. Immediately, her hand flew free from the knife.
"I'm about to do something I've been dying to do since I walked in here."
"Gardener don't!!!" Alexis screamed, twisting against the blade in an attempt to reach the two men. The blade tore through her skin again and found new sections of flesh it hadn't yet burned.
It was too late. Killian's scream indicated immediately what Gardener was doing. Tears ran from her eyes as she realized there was nothing she could do except watch Gardener murder the boy.

Gardener almost stopped what he was doing to laugh. This was better than he could have dreamed. They were both screaming and fighting with him. If this didn't teach them both a lesson, he didn't know what would.
He focused his attention on draining the boy's blood as quickly as he could. He wasn't hungry, but human blood was human blood and there would be no turning down the option.
When he'd had his fill, Gardener shoved the boy's body away from him. Getting up, he turned his attention back to Alexis.
"Let's get something straight," he slammed his hand down on the knife handle, holding it firmly into the counter top. "I ever catch you with another human, and that knife's going to go through your throat. I don't want to do it, Alexis. The world is more interesting with you in it. But I will. And that's a promise."
Gardener took his hand off the metal which was now burning him as well. Turning on his heel, he stormed out of the shop.

Killian had fallen into a panic as the pain had consumed him the minute Gardener sunk his teeth into his throat. He tried to fight off the vampire as much as he could but with each moment the monster held him in his grasps literally dragging the life from him was a moment that Killian's fight weakened. He attempted to move his body away from the man but every movement only brought along a new found agonizing pain to rip through him as he could feel his blood being forcefully torn from his body. The sensation was agonizing...as it had been the first time it had occured not so long ago.
Killian's hands gripped frantically on to the floor beneath him his hands diging into the wood causing his fingers to run with blood as the hard surface pealed away at his skin. His eyes desperately searched for a way out as he attempted to scream once more but only ended up choking on his own blood.
His eyes some how managed to lock on to Alexis for the briefest of moments and he tried to pull himself away from Gardener one last time to get to her but his struggeles only brought him new found pain. His body shuddered violently as the grip of death began to wrap itself around him his entire form trembeling as the blood soaked through the shirt. His body arched oainfully off of the floor once more and then his blue eyes grew vacant as they slipped shut and his body gre still...the life completely drained of Killian Reynolds once more.
Killian's body crumpeled to the ground once Gardener released his hold upon him and he lay unmoving...dead...and covered in blood.

Alexis closed her eyes from Killian's gaze. She only opened them again as she saw Killian fall dead beneath Gardener's grasp. She was trembling from pain, anger and fear. Suddenly, Gardener was crossing the room to her. She gasped as his hand slammed again on the silver blade.
"Damn you, Gardener." She hissed, glaring at him. "Don't you ever come near me again, you son of a b!tch."
And just like that, Gardener was gone. Alexis stared at Killian's body. She had to get to him, but that meant getting the knife out of her hand.
The fingers of her left hand hovered over the knife's blade. She wanted the knife out-but she didn't want to burn herself again. Taking a deep breath, Alexis closed her fingers over the blade.
She screamed again as the silver seared into her flesh. The knife had to come out. It had to. It couldn't stay lodged into her skin. And if someone else entered the store, this was going to take serious explaining.
Alexis glanced around. A box of silk scarves sat on the edge of counter. Reaching out, Alexis grabbed one. She wrapped it around the knife's blade. Swallowing hard, she closed her left hand around the blade and pulled.
The knife left her skin with hissing, sucking sound. Tears resurged into her eyes. Tossing the knife aside, Alexis wrapped another scarf around her hand. She sunk down to the floor as pain continued washing over her.
Alexis turned her eyes back to Killian. Picking herself up, she moved to his blood soaked body. Fresh tears slipped from her eyes and mixed with the ones already marking her skin.
"Killian." She whispered, sitting down beside him. Alexis tried to remember what Killian had said. He had other lives, he could come back. But she had no idea how it worked, how long it took, or what specifications went with this deal.
The pain wasn't subsiding in her hand. Alexis tied the scarf around her hand. As carefully as she could, she picked up Killian's body. The action made her hand ten times worse, but she couldn't leave the boy lying on the shop's floor. She carried him upstairs and placed him gingerly on the sofa in the living room.
"I'm so sorry, Killian." She murmured, tossing a blanket over him.
Alexis turned back downstairs. She closed the blinds and securely locked the door. Upstairs, she did her best to clean the wound on her hand. She rewrapped it in gauze before collapsing onto the bed and falling into an exhausted sleep.
