Castiel remained cloaked in the darkness of the surrounding woods provided near the house of his Father. He had arrived several moments before Dean Winchester had but he would not make himself known till it was a necessity. Samuel Winchester had used his powers once more, the same powers bestowed upon him by Azazel and it seemed as if no matter how many times the youngest was warned of traveling down the road he was currently on he did not change his course of action.
There was more then just the two demons in the company of the Winchesters though there was another Castiel could sense it in the darkness though it was not nearly as strong as the demon that Sam had used his demonic powers against. There was still very much another demon hidden in the darkness Castiel could sense it but the more powerful demon who had turned its attention back towards Samuel held Castiel’s concern.
Castiel swiftly made his way closer to the tree that Dean had found himself pinned to by the demon known as Legion but still he did not act. He needed to see if Sam would react in the same manner as he had before. There would only be so many times that Castiel would be able to ignore Sam’s continued use of his powers. Taking a step back from the tree the angel stayed in the grasps of the shadows and stayed in wait to see which events would occur and if his help was required at all. Castiel silently prayed that Sam Winchester would pick the road his Father had demanded apposed to the road which led to hell.

Legion stared at Sam for a moment, trying to decide what would be the best course of action for disposing of this fraud. Sure his powers were impressive for a human but Legion knew that most of Sam's strength had been depleted from his previous attacks. Legion with a snicker stepped closer.
"I must admit, boy, that your powers are quite impressive...for a human. Now let me show what real demon powers are!"
Legion's arm shot forward, outstretched and in an instant a blinding white light exploded from the palm of his hand. Legion's white eyes stared at the beautiful light and he knew that there was no way that the Winchester boy would be able to survive this attack. Legion waited as the light began to fade away.

Dean could barely get a grasp on the situation, or what his next movement should be, when the high tiered demon sent him flying through the air. He gasped involuntarily as his back collided with the tree. He made a violent attempt to twist himself free, but it was futile. Almost as futile as a few months before......with Lilith....and the Hellhounds.
Interesting that he was thinking of that, because just then the demon saw fit to bring it up.
"Yeah, and you can go straight back there. Tell your buddies hi for me." Dean glared at him as his eyes moved rapidly between the demon and Sam, who was still bleeding.
For a second, he hoped that Sam could pull his magic back out and get them out of this situation-but he didn't really want him to. Dean looked around, thinking this would be the second time he would be extremely relieved to see Castiel-and the first time he would remember it.

Sam held his eyes locked with those of the demons not daring to look at either Dean or Ruby. He knew he couldn’t kill the demon and he wasn’t sure if he would be able to rip him either but he would do his damndest especially now that Dean had managed to get wrapped up in this as well.
"I must admit, boy, that your powers are quite impressive...for a human. Now let me show what real demon powers are!"
Sam braced himself as the demon made a movement towards him and he watched as his hand shot out towards him and Sam took a step back until a very familiar white light exploded from the demon.
A small smirk passed over Sam’s face as the white light shot from Legion; he had been down this road several times with demons and he had to admit there was an entirely large amount of satisfaction he got from being the one standing there in the aftermath.
“Yeah about your little demon death ray…,” Sam explained as the light faded and he stared back at Legion his eyes smoldering slightly with a bit of new found confidence.
“That won’t work on me.”
Sam’s eyes burned back at the demon their hues a much darker shade of hazel then they had been as his own hand shot out before him and his concentration to tear the demon from the host returned.
“My turn.”
Sam’s body shook with the tool of the attempted exorcism but he would give it all he had if it meant getting this demon out. A fresh stream of blood seeped from his nose but Sam pressed on determined to either rip the demon out and save his brother or die trying.

Castiel took several steps forward as the demon known as Legion took up a stance which Castiel would have thought would have meant the end for the youngest Winchester but he was caught surprised as Castiel was sure the demon was as well as Sam Winchester still stood his ground a look upon his face Castiel had hoped not to see. The youngest Winchester was slipping into the pit by the very moment and Castiel was beginning to question himself if he could be saved at all. He prayed to his Father for both Dean and Sam’s sake that he could be but hope and faith could only go so far before other courses of action would need to be taken.
What caused Castiel to relinquish his position within the shadows of the trees was Sam’s own words and his choice to begin a renewed act upon the demon. Not to be blinding by the events Castiel knew the Winchesters had found themselves in a dire situation but had it happened before Samuel had discovered his demonic powers they would have had to make do with another course of action.
Stepping towards Dean who was pinned against the tree by the demonic force Castiel simply laid his hand upon the older Winchester’s shoulder and released him from the demons hold and without a word he took several steps towards where Sam and the demon were but still said nothing as he observed the events unfolding before him. Sam Winchester had and would continue to make his choices and there was very little Castiel would be able to do to stop him.

"That won't work on me."
Legion's mouth opened up a little bit in surprise. Well this was unexpected to say the least. It was no surprise now that the boy had little trouble of defeating Alastair. Immune to demon powers. That was annoying.
"My turn."
Legion braced himself for whatever was coming next as Sam raised his hand once more. Legion felt a familiar aura as his stomach lurched. Legion spat out a few tiny specs of black smoke, noticing Sam's strength was nearly sapped from his first attempt at excorcism.
"This again, boy? I'm dissapointed!"
Legion attempted to ignore the intense pain in his chest, as his eyes rolled up to his head. With all of his strength, Legion rushed towards Sam Winchester, fist raised. He collided into Sam, punching him onto the ground then standing above him.
"Guess if I can't kill you with my powers then it'll have to be the old fashioned way. A bit savage I apologize but it appears that I have no other choice. Now get up and fight."

Dean's eyes were glued to the scene before him. He was amazed at what he was actually seeing. How Sam was actually able to do this was beyond his comprehension. There had to be something else going on here that someone was missing.... Sam had to have been into something else, but for the life of him Dean couldn't determine what it might have been.
Suddenly, Dean glimpsed a sight of Castiel beside him. As the angel's hand laid on his shoulder, he was immediately freed from the demon's hold. Instantly, Dean ran to where the gun had landed. He fired a shot at the demon who was now pummeling his brother. Running towards them, Dean's hand went into his pocket.
"I don't think so." Dean tackled the demon, knocking him to the ground. Reaching into one pocket, he grabbed a bottle of holy water and poured it onto the demon.

Castiel did not make a motion to stop Dean as he rushed towards where the demon and Sam Winchester were. It had become a battle of physical strength now and it was also a battle Castiel knew was not one he was needed for. His purpose was to aid the Winchesters...mostly Dean in their paths of the war. As Castiel watched Dean attack the demon his own eyes caught sight of the demon Sam continued to toil with Ruby who was still pinned against the tree which the demon had forced Dean and her against.
His eyes locked with the demon for a moment and Castiel was very much aware that in a single moment he could rid Sam Winchester of the temptation she provided; but that would be interferring far more then his role demanded the Winchesters needed to find their ways upon their own paths.
Castiel made a motion towards the demon and stopped in his track as another sensation pierced through him. His charge was in danger; he could feel the fear and uncertainity as if it was an emotion he would have felt. His eyes fell upon the Winchetsers and regardless of the current fight it was not either of the brothers. Which only left one other charge and that was one which had not been directly assigned to him but one he had taken the moment he had chosen his vessel.
Immediately appearing beside the tree which held the demon Ruby still pinned against Castiel saw the knife she posessed which held the power to kill a demon and without another moments thought Castiel reached out and pressed his hand upon her shoulder releasing her from the demons power and then vanishing from the graveyard.

Sam was doing his best to keep his focus upon pulling the demon from it's humon host but his strength was fading by the moment. His eyes widened as Legion charged at him slamming them both to the ground. Sam stared up at the demon for a moment his vision swimming as he attempted to focus on the man looming above him.
Sam struggeled to stand spitting blood from his mouth upon the grass as he shook his head slightly trying to clear his vision enough to actually be able to fight the demon. He didn't get much of a chance though because before Sam could even land a punch Dean had bolted at the demon.
Sam scrambeled after his brother and the demon attempting to use his strength to further pin the demons body to the ground as Dean poured holy water over it. Sam might not have had the luxury of being able to use his powers but he still very much remembered how to exorcise a demon.
As Sam used his weakened strength to hold the demon down the latin came easily fom him as he glared down at the demon.
"Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica..."

Legion felt himself being restrained by Sam as Dean splashed holy water onto his face. Legion let out a cry of pain, screaming at the top of his lungs dramatically. But then, surprisingly, his screams became laughs of glee. His eyes rolled up his sockets once more and he glared up at the brothers.
"Wow. Did you learn nothing from facing Lilith or Azazel? Those cheap water tricks don't work on higher class demons!"
Legion continued his wild cackle until he heard Sam begin to mutter something. Legion glanced over at the young man and recognized the words almost immediately. Latin. He was going to attempt to excorcise Legion once more but this time without his psychic abilities.
"You fools! Do you really think you'll be able to hold me long enough to complete the excorcism!?" Legion struggled to pull himself out of their grips.

Ruby was watching the fight, a worried look was hidden underneath her cold exterior. Legion had taken her by surprise and all she could do was hit the tree by the force he exerted, and saw Dean on the tree next to her having been caught by Legion as well. Dammed idiot if he hadn't interupted Sam they might not have been in this mess. A frown crossed her face as Sam seemed to be losing the strength he had left to fight this demon off. A growl escaped her throat as she fought against the invisible hold on her.
She almost could have flinched as she saw Legion give up trying to use his powers and clocking Sam one in the head, but then did a double take when she saw Dean moving towards him. How had that bastard got free...Sure she could probably with an incantation or two but even that took time. Then she saw it. The angel. Him. No wonder she had felt uncomfortable, even with the demon there had been a strange presence around here.
Her hand tightened her grip on the knife that was still in her hand, even though she couldn't do anything with it, it made her feel better. She met the Angel's gaze, finding it hard to do so, and glanced away before looking back, the fear rising in her by the second, knowing very well he could take her out very easily. She held her breath without reailsing it as the angel disappeared but then she felt him behind her, and for once in her demonic life, she was worried. It was when she felt the invisible force released and she dropped to the floor, crouching and she looked round quickly and he had gone.
Getting over it quickly she turned her attention back to the fight between the demon and the Winchesters, and by the looks of it they needed more help. "Want an answer to that question?!" Ruby retorted to the demon, appearing to the side of him and Dean. She glanced at Sam, before stabbing the demon in his chest, letting him feel some added pain. Ruby then pulled it from his chest watching him, but thinking it might not be enough. She glanced at the blood on the knife before paying attention to what the Winchesters were doing.

Dean fought as best he could to keep his grip on the demon. When he heard Sam begin the exorcism, he struggled harder. If he could just manage to control the demon until his brother had finished..........
His eyes snapped up when he saw Ruby suddenly appear in the mist of everything. At the moment, he had never been so happy to see her or the knife. He wanted this demon issue handled so that he could get Sam back to the motel. They needed to have the conversation Castiel had brought up-especially after what Dean had walked into earlier.
Dean couldn't deny he was happy that he seeing his brother fight in the old fashion, but the fact that Sam's first choice was to embrace his demon given powers made him feel sick.
"Go to hell." He told the demon he still had a grip on.

Watching the battle between that pompous jerk, my prized student and the one responsible for nearly killing me was amusing. Getting the crap beat out of him is very amusing, but the chance to have my revenge agaisnt the brat for getting involved in the fight when I had almost won was irating. As well as wounding my pride. Plus rescuing that pompous jerk will be worth a laugh.
Stepping out of the shadows I fling Deano and Ruby back to their respective places on the wall, and fling Sammy down to the ground. "Legion, buddy looks like you could use a hand. Backoff I have a bone to pick with Sammy. Deano its been awhile, I bet you thought I was dead.Well sorry to burst your bubble but I am very much alive. You know Sammy I was very irrated when you interupted my fight with the winged freak, especially when I was winnig." I walk up to the prone kid and lift up by his collar with one hand and start pummeling him with the other.

Sam did his best to use what little strength he had left to keep his hold on legion as the demon struggled. Sam kept his focus on the demon though no matter how much he struggled Sam knew this was pretty much their chance to end this in their favor.
“Omnis congregatio et secta diabolica..." The Latin from Sam’s lips died off as Ruby plunged her knife into the demon’s chest. He knew the knife wouldn’t kill the demon or well he had gathered that fact from the amount of strength it had taken to take on the demon to begin with but Ruby’s actions would surely give them some extra help on remaining in control of the situation. Sam’s eyes caught sight of the demon’s blood which coated the knife Ruby yanked from the demon’s chest and a part of him couldn’t help but wonder what sort of strength a demon as powerful as Legion’s blood would give him. Surely enough to be able to take out the demon with little effort but with Dean there that thought was completely null and void. Sam’s thoughts were entirely torn from him as suddenly Dean and Ruby were no longer by his side. Sam’s eyes grew wide as he looked to see what in the hell it was that had gone wrong yet again. Tonight was surely not their night in the least bit.
Sam finds himself easily flung down to the ground his strength all but zapped in regards to being able to fight back. Never in a million years had he expected the likes of Alastair to ever be seen again. He had killed the demon…or at least he had thought he had killed him.
“You’re…dead,” Sam stammered attempting to shake the clouded feeling from his head his eyes never leaving Alastair as the demon descended upon him. Sam’s head snaps back savagely as Alastair delivers blow after blow to Sam causing blood to flow freely from various gashes once more. Sam weakly tries to grip his hands into the demons in attempt to free himself but he can feel the clouds of unconsciousness swirling around him as he struggles to stay conscious long enough to fight back…if that is even a possibility.

I lett Sammy drop once he is unconcious, after all if their not awake to fell the pain whats the point. I then walk over to Legion and take the knife out him and walk back to face Deano. "Deano how are you doing, I see all those wounds have healed nicely. Are you still crying about how you brought it on, cause down in the pit your a hero, after all the guy who brought on the End of the World is someone who must be properly thanked. Oh and before I forget I brought a gift for you to show no hard feelings." Open palm of fist to show demonic sulfer. "Recognize this Deano, you should this is the part of yourself you left back in the pit. Lets make you whole again, once this part merges with youself it won't becoming off." I thrust the demonic essence into its owner. "I'll let yourself become reaquinted with yourself, you'll know where to find me when your ready to be who you really are, and you winged freaks are listening We've won, you can't split his soul once it has merged" I walk back into the Shadows laughing evilly, before vanishing into the blackness. Soon my student you will come home and you will have your vengence. Just be patient."
