“I'll do some hard digging and get information on her whereabouts, but first why don't you practice on whatever is in the graveyard.”
Sam’s eyes darkened slightly as he searched through the cloak of blackness that covered the graveyard. There was obviously something there; he had heard it and Ruby had felt it and whatever it was could very well be in the last moments of its existence especially since Sam was all but shaking with anger and frustration. He was tired of being told to wait and tired of being told he wasn’t strong enough. He was strong enough he could kill demons within the bodies they were possessing without so much as breaking a sweat.
“She won’t kill me,” Sam snapped his eyes latching on to Ruby’s once more as she expressed concern for him in regards to him going up against the demon. In truth he didn’t rightly care what became of him by the end of his encounter with Ruby. Dean was what was important and making right what Lilith did to him was the only thing Sam was focused on; the rest of the world, angels and demons be damned he was focused on all of this for his brother’s sake alone.
Sam’s attention was immediately snapped back to the graveyard as there was a sudden and swift moment which jetted across the graveyard before vanishing again. Taking a step away from Ruby Sam walked slightly more into the graveyard his guard up as he searched to find what it was that was in there obviously wanting to gain their attention. He would bet it was a demon especially since Ruby had sensed it though she could sense the angels as well they had a far different effect on her.
Sam made another calculated movement towards the graveyard when a voice broke through the silence not far from him immediately grabbing his attention. His eyes snapped to the man who had stepped from the shadows and then quickly back towards the graveyard. The sound he had heard didn’t match the man who had made himself known. His eyes quickly flicked over to Ruby to see if she knew whether this man was a threat or just someone who had happened across them by chance…the thought of chance was almost laughable since nothing happened by chance in the life of a Winchester.
“Who are you?” Sam demanded his hands clenched into fists at his side as he waited for the man or demon or angel to make its move.

"Me? Oh just a drifter idley walking by."
Legion didn't see what was so impressive about Sam Winchester. The gossip he had heard all seemed...exaggerated. This was the boy who had won Azazel's little contest? This was the boy who had almost been able to kill Lilith? And from what had just been heard...it sounded as if this young man also was responsible for killing the chief torturer of Hell itself.
Impossible...
The boy's legend would seem to rival Legion's own. This could turn out to be quite the dissapointment if he didn't live up to the stories. Quite a dissapointment indeed.
"I do have a name though. Perhaps you've heard of me?"
Legion's voice suddenly changed and sounded as if a dozen voices were speaking at once.
"I am Legion...for we are many."

Yeah Ruby knew there was a demon in the graveyard, its not hard to sense them especially since she was a demon as well. Angels were certainly different, she was certainly scared of them, although she tried not to show it on the outside. But they could most definitly kill her without her fighting back much.
She looked at Sam when he implied Lilith wouldn't kill him. "Well time will tell." She replied with a frown, unsure of why Sam was acting so distant, and knew he wanted to get revenge, but doing it his way, going in half-cocked wasn't going to work.
She saw the demon quite clearly moving across the graveyard, better than humans would do, and stayed put letting Sam move into the graveyard to catch the demon, letting him figure it out for himself. It was only when she heard the next noise and saw the movement to the side of her, she moved quickly closer to Sam. She looked at the demon, with a shocked, almost worried expression, though hid the worried look, and looked back to Sam. "Sam." She said, a tone of warning through that one word.
"Sam, he's dangerous, could be as bad but probably worse than Alistar." Ruby told the Winchester, taking another step closer to him, and one away from the demon, or demons as she knew. She had heard the stories, although didn't quite believe them. There were so many stories that went round in Hell, sometimes you never knew which one to believe, or if they were just made up to scare everyone down there.
"What do you want?" Ruby frowned at the demon, she knew he was dangerous, and knew the answer to his question. Probably something to do with Sam, but still.

Sam's eyes did not waiver from the man who had suddenly appeared in the darkness. He didn't for a moment believe the man was simply a drifter walking by; usually they didn;t call attention to themselves and there was something about him something which had obviously un-nerved Ruby as well and that was never a good sign. Especially since Ruby could see and sense things about certain demons and monsters from hell that Sam had no idea about.
Sam's attention snapped to Ruby as he heard her warning and then went back to the man who seconds later proved to be a demon as what sounded like dozens of voices sounded around them causing Sam's eyes to widen slightly.
As Ruby spoke to the demon Sam tried to figure out what exactly could be done especially since Ruby had brought up the bit of information that this current demon could very well be worse then Alastair. Sam wasn't strong enough; not so soon after dispatching Alastair he hadn't had the chance to be alone with Ruby and hadn't recieved enough of her blood to even begin to build up his strength to that power...and that was going to prove to be a problem.
Squaring his shoulders slightly and glaring back at the demon Sam knew he had to throw whatever it was he did have at him and see what happened. It would quickly show exactly how strong this demon…or well demons were compared to the others he had gone against. Narrowing his eyes Sam concentrated on the demon before them and with a quick snap of his hand attempted to send a strong telekinetic force into the demon to pin him against the graveyard fence.

"What do I want?"
Legion considered the question the other demon had asked.
"I just wanted to get a glimpse of the great 'anti-christ'. You're a legend among us demons. Though because of the fact that you went awol after the Devil's Gate opened, there's been a whole lot of fighting between us demons. And with whispers about angels being in our midst..." Legion sarcastically whistled.
Legion was interrupted as he sensed a strange presence. He glanced over at Sam and chuckled. Did the boy really think it would be that easy?
"Sorry but you'll have to do a whole lot better than that. You may have killed Alastair but I'm a whole lot stronger than he is. Up there with that bitch you've been searching for." Legion's eyeballs rolled up revealing white eyes.

“I just wanted to get a glimpse of the great 'anti-christ.”
Sam flinched away from the demon’s words. He had no intentions what so ever to an anti Christ it was bad enough to be classified as one. He was doing what he was doing for his brother that was the simple fact of it all. Dean had come back from the pits of hell different; changed…he wasn’t strong enough to deal with all of this. Hell on his own Sam wasn’t strong enough to deal with and that was why he had needed and still did need Ruby. But he definitely wasn’t using the powers he had gained from what the Yellow Eyed Demon did to him in order to become some sort of anti-christ he was using them to spare his brother and himself the experience of having to be ripped to shreds and yanked down into hell. That was something Sam was positive neither Winchester would survive again.
In reality there should have been more then just whispers of angels around; hell Cas had pretty much yanked Dean out of hell himself. It was nice to have that in their pocket…even if Sam knew better then to think the angels were in any way on his side.
"Sorry but you'll have to do a whole lot better than that. You may have killed Alastair but I'm a whole lot stronger than he is. Up there with that bitch you've been searching for."
Sam swallowed down the lump in his throat as the demon barely even reacted to the force he had sent his way. Hell the exertion in itself had taken its own toll on Sam since he wasn’t nearly as strong after Alastair but he had given it more than a good go and the demon hadn’t even flinched. That was not a good thing. He casted a glance at Ruby for a moment looking to her for some sort of guidance or answers or reaction…pretty much anything. He didn’t have any other weapons; not that a normal weapon would work on a demon but it was still always nice to have backup. There was Ruby’s knife and if Sam could some how dig up the energy to attempt to fry the demon in his meat suit there was that…if it worked. Sam’s eyes darkened considerably and he found his fists clenched against his side though when Legion brought up Lilith.

Legion noticed Sam's reaction to his taunts and smiled wickedly.
"Did I strike a nerve? I forgot that you and Lilith have quite the past don't you. I mean having to watch her send your brother to the pit must not have been easy. I heard all about your attempts to break a demon deal."
Legion glanced over at Ruby.
"And you. What kind of a demon would go against their own kind?"

Ruby was paying attention to the demon, but every now and then looked across to Sam. She knew he wasn't strong enough to take this demon out yet, that was the annoying part of the situation. She was definitly worried when Sam tried to move the demon, and yet he didn't even so much as flinch. Crap, she thought in the back of her mind. She pulled out her knife slowly, knowing it wouldn't do much but it would be worth a try if the demon tried anything. At most it could be a little bit intimidating, seeing as there was no weapon like it, except the colt.
As Ruby pulled her knife, she moved next to Sam properly, it was easier if they were closer, although she knew they still weren't very effective. Ruby frowned at Legion's attempts to taunt Sam, and it seemed like they were working, and thats not what Sam needed right now, he was worked up enough as it was. "Just keep calm Sam, don't fly off the handle it won't help." Ruby warned him in a low voice, but her attention was redirected then to Legion as he questioned her about her alliegence.
"The kinda demon who doesn't want to see the end of the world. One who doesn't like what demons do and wishes you all go back to Hell and rot there." Ruby told him, almost spitting the words out. Telling Sam not to get wound up but she found herself getting pretty riled by this demon herself. Plus its not like she was going to open up to any demon like she had opened up to Sam and Dean about why she was helping them. She still had humanity left inside her, unlike most others of her kind. She didn't know why, but part of her was glad. Apart from the pain bit, when she lost someone she cared about.
She wasn't sure how they were going to dispatch this demon, or whether he was going to talk and then disappear and come at them some other time.

Sam’s eyes flicked between the demon and Ruby till Ruby made her way to his side and though he still figured they didn’t pose much of a threat to the demon in front of them they could still prove to be a pain in its ass should the need arise. Sam was still clinging on to the hope that he could at least exorcise the demon even if he couldn’t kill it out right. After all he had exorcised Samhain and that had been no low level demon.
"Did I strike a nerve? I forgot that you and Lilith have quite the past don't you. I mean having to watch her send your brother to the pit must not have been easy. I heard all about your attempts to break a demon deal."
“Go to hell!” Sam snapped back quickly his voice closer to a growl than anything else as he glared back at Legion. He wanted to tear the son of a bitch apart even if it had to be with his bare hands he didn’t muchly care at the moment.
"Just keep calm Sam, don't fly off the handle it won't help."
It wouldn’t help but it would feel good…or at least until it went south it would anyways. But Sam remained silent though the anger inside of him was all but boiling over. The demons words had pulled at the wrong strings within Sam Winchester because he knew he had failed his brother. He had promised Dean time and time again that he would get him out of the deal that he had made in order to bring Sam back and as the final ticks of the clock had sounded and the hell hounds had come Sam knew that Lilith had made him into a liar. Sam had let his brother down; he had let down the only person who had ever cared about him completely and without a thought to himself; hell Dean had sold his soul to bring Sam back and Sam hadn’t even been able to save his brother as Dean had done for him so many times before.
Even after Dean had been buried Sam had never stopped trying to bring his brother back to somehow save him from the pit and each and every time he had tried he had failed and he knew that…the demons knew that and though Sam knew Dean would not say he knew his brother knew it as well. He hadn’t been able to save his brother no matter what he had tried he had failed.
Sam could hear Ruby talking to the demon but she was drowned out by the sounds of the hell hounds and his brothers screams as they tore him apart as the entire scene played out in Sam’s mind once more his fists clenched so tightly blood seeped through his hands as his nails cut into his own palm.
“…and wishes you all go back to Hell and rot there.”
Catching Ruby’s last statement and the tone of her own voice Sam was quickly dragged back into the here and now his eyes burning into the demon before them as he took a step back his eyes dark and anger rolling off of him in droves. He didn’t know if he could win or not a part of him wasn’t even occupied with the thought of the outcome he was purely driven by actions and anger. His arm was outstretched before him the palm of his hand directed towards the demon as he concentrated with all that he had to attempt to send the demon back to hell.
Sam’s entire body shook with the exertion of the attempted exorcism; blood seeped from his nose as his face grew pale but yet his focus never wavered even as blinding pain began to slam through his mind the toll of attempting to exorcise the demon when he was not at full strength ripping through him painfully.

Legion snickered at Ruby's counters. It was unwise of her, a basic level demon, to try and taunt someone who outmatched her power in everyway.
Legion suddenly felt his stomach turn a little. His eyebrows raised with a bit of suprise. His eyes shifted back up to look at Sam who's arm was outstretched. Legion felt a sharp pain at the pit of his chest and began to choke.
"What the hell are you doing?" The demon hissed, white eyes glaring at the Winchester.
Legion started to cough violently as small bursts of black smoke left his mouth. Legion stared at the smoke as he collapsed onto one knee. Legion continued to cough up small amounts of black smoke when he noticed that Sam's nose was bleeding and he seemed to be concentrating very hard.
"Not...so easy...is it...boy?"
Legion fought the pain and held his stomach with one hand, managing to weakly climb back up to his feet.
"See...you may have done that psychic crap that Azazel gave to you on other demons...probably some that were pretty tough right? Well...unfortuneatley...for you...the demon you're trying to excorcise right now...me...I'm made up of dozens of demons...all packaged together into one...with a nice bow neatly tied on top...haha..."
Legion felt the pain shoot through his ribs again and he shook with agony. He had never experienced anything like this before. Sure there had been attempted excorcisms but no one had ever put him in such pain...how could this boy make it so much further than anyone else had ever managed?

Dean had made it only a few steps away from the Impala when he decided that the small vial of holy water that was in his pocket probably wouldn't be enough. He went back to the car, took out a shot gun loaded with rock salt bullets and headed back towards ground zero.
As he came closer, Dean could make out Ruby and Sam's form, and that of another man. He was going to guess that was probably the high level demon. For the moment, he didn't see a third demon, but that didn't mean it wasn't about to come sneaking up behind him.
A few yards away, Dean froze. His brother had his arm outstretched with his the palm of his hand facing the male demon. Dean could only stare in shock as the demon collapsed onto one knee. When he saw him coughing up black smoke, Dean knew exactly what Sam was doing.
"Hell." He grumbled, raising the rifle.
"Sam!" He shouted. Dean fired one of the bullets towards the demon. He didn't really care if it hit him or not, he just wanted to distract the entire situation and get Sam to stop.

The pain which flared through Sam’s mind was close to crippling as he struggled to stay conscious long enough to send Legion back to hell where he had come from.
"What the hell are you doing?"
“Sending you back to hell,” Sam managed to reply his voice laced with pain but his eyes still locked upon the demon focused on tearing it out of the man it was possessing and sending Legion hurtling back to hell where he had crawled out of. He would be strong enough to kill if he ever saw the demon again Sam would make sure of that.
Sam’s eyes watched intently as Legion began to cough violently and wisps of black smoke slunk from his mouth and pooled on the ground around him as the demon crashed to its knees. Sam struggled to remain in control as Legion forced himself back upon his feet the pain doubling for Sam as the demon pushed back against the attempted exorcism.
A stream of deep crimson blood slipped from Sam’s ear as well as the blood which continued to stream from his nose as Sam struggled to not let the excruciating pain get the better of him as he attempted to pull strength from anywhere to take out the demon or demons as legion had explained before him. His palm remained outstretched towards the demon though as much as his force and concentration could allow slamming into Legion time and time again but causing as much pain for Sam as it was for the demon no doubt.
Sam’s left hand subconsciously gripped into the side of his head snaking through his own hair trying to subdue the pain which ripped through his mind as his eyes continued to blaze back into Legion’s as he fought with every ounce he had to pull the demon from the body before him.
"Sam!"
Dean’s voice tied with the crack of the shot from the gun sliced through Sam’s focus and sent the walls of concentration he had been so desperately trying to cling to in order to send Legion to hell crashing down around him. Sam’s eyes locked upon his brother for a moment Legion momentarily forgotten as he swayed on his feet pain radiating through his head and a look of devastation across Sam’s face as he realized that his brother had been witness again to Sam breaking the promise he had made him…and lied to Dean about time and time again.
“…Dean…”
Sam’s voice was barely more than a whisper before he lost his feet beneath him and crashed to his knees his eyes finally falling back upon the demon in front of him and Sam knew there would be no way he would be able to gather up the strength to pull the demon now that the concentration he ahd been so desperately trying to latch on to was shattered.

Dean was still rooted to his spot. He could only looked randomly between the three others in front of him. Anger was coursing through him. Dean was torn between furious with Sam and terrified for him. He was breaking the promise he'd made-and in turn making Dean break promises to the angels who had pulled him out of hell. And maybe it was selfish, but Dean didn't want to go back to hell for his brother being unable to give up his demon abilities.
"SAM!" He ran to Sam's side as he crumpled to the ground. Kneeling next to him, he turned the gun towards the demon. Now he was probably angry with what Sam had just tried to do, and that would make for a demon much more inclined to doing something nasty.
Dean kept his eyes glued to the demon, the salt bullets aimed at him. The demon made one move and he would shot.

Legion watched as the events played out before him. Sam had actually done far more to him than he had counted on. Quite impressive. But all of that focus had gone to waste the moment another hunter stepped in. Sam's concentration broken, Legion got back to his feet, good as new.
Legion chuckled as the new arrival aimed a gun at him.
"Well what's this? The calvalry? I'm quivering."
With a flick of his hand, Legion threw the hunter through the air and pinned him against a tree. He quickly did the same to Ruby, knowing that she could pose a small problem as well. Legion's white eyes glanced over at Sam but then peered over at the other hunter.
"Are you the brother I've heard so much about? The one who tried to outrun hellhounds? I valiant effort." Legion approached Dean slowly and stopped in front of him. "I heard though that despite your resistence you were dragged to the pit just like every other fool who is stupid enough to make a deal. Clearly though, those rumors may have been false as you are now here before me. Anywho...it doesn't really matter. See you're not the one I'm interested in. It's that psychic brother of yours."
Legion turned around and faced Sam. Time for the test.

The world around Sam Winchester swayed and slipped in and out of focus as he struggeled to hear his brother's words through the rushing of blood through his head. He some how managed to pull his eyes from the demon and sluggidhly sttempted to shove Dean away from him not wanting his brother to be hurt in the crossfire of what ever sort of thing Legion threw his way. It had been Sam who had attacked the demon and it would be Sam who paid for it he wouldn't let Dean take the fall for him again.
Before Sam could veen react he felt his brother torn away from him as well as Ruby as the demon pinned them both to nearby trees leaving Sam on the ground the blood still seeping from his nose as he attempted to clear his mind enough to focus on the very sever problem at hand.
Sam's eyes never left the dmeon as it made its way towards his brother and swallowing deeply Sam managed to weakly pull himself back on to his feet. He waivered for the briefest of moments as he swallowed down a deep breath in an attempt to clear his mind and re-affirm his focus.
Sam's eyes darkened considerably as he heard the demon taunt Dean about his deal and hell...the deal he had made for Sam.
"Leave him out of this," Sam growled as he brushed a hand across his face in an attempt to brush away the blood.
Sam straightened slightly as Legion turned away from Dean and focused his sights upon him once more. He could feel the toll the attempted extraction had taken on him and he wasn't sure if he would be able to succesfully do it again but he would try with everything he had.
