"I'm sure someone delivers, what are you in the mood for?", Jon searched up the area they were in and found a few mentions of the bigfoot creature but it was a lot of hoax stuff so it could still be a while before he had found anything.
"Good call on the local legends but there's still a lot to go through."
Jon looked up as Bianca mentioned Lenore might be hungry, he was glad she had said it because he hadn't dealt with vampires unless he was chopping their heads off and he didn't know what the etiquette for asking was.
"Sure thing we'll call you the second we find anything", Jon put Lenore's number into his own phonelist on his cell. It could come in handy, never know when you might need a vampire. He checked his phone to see what time it was, "Well we can either get some breakfast or if you want we could grab some lunch, personally I don't care but lunch sounds good right now."

Bianca watched Lenore go and nodded.
"She's pretty cool for a vampire. I never met one like that before."
She got off the bed and walked over the the nightstand next to the bed. Underneath a Gideon Bible, she found a phone book complete with menu section.
"Take a look at this." She handed the book to Jon. "See what sounds good. I'm in the mood for real food, not just breakfast. I'll be right back."
Bianca left the room and jogged out to her car. Under the passenger seat she found her copy of Weird New York. Returning to the room, she sat down in a chair by the window.
"Let's see....Bizarre Beasts....Bigfoot-we can almost rule him out. Pig Man? Maybe. Giant Bird? Not thinking so. Goatman? Who knows."

Jon watched Lenore head out, he remembered her mentioning feeding from animals and since he had made it through the night he felt he could trust her.
"Yes she is quite a rare find. I wonder how many of her kind there are", he took the book and watched as Bianca also left the room. He thumbed through and found some different places.
"There's chinese, pizza and a sandwich shop, personally I could go for some pizza", he mentioned as soon as Bianca came back in. He opened up a word file and started typing down the names she mentioned opening up searches as he went. He skipped bigfoot since that was a pretty useless endeavour.
"Pig man looks interesting but so does the goatman, there are a couple of sites that mention they could be one and the same I'll see what I can find. Does pizza sound acceptable or something else? They have wings, strombolis, calzones, and cheesesteaks as well."

"Pizza sounds good. Get whatever you want on it-but if you're going to do pineapple, just get it on half. I'm not a fan."
Bianca liked pineapple, but saw no point in it touching pizza. But some people had different tastes, so oh well.
She turned to her book's index and skimmed the titles.
"What if it's not an animal? Like this one...the Warlock of Hinds Hollow." Bianca found the appropriate page and handed the book to Jon.
"There are dozens of documented cases of places in New York that are supposedly home to satanic cults. Now, I want to believe this is supernatural, but what if we're dealing with some group of freaks trying to pose as a mythical creature."

"Not a problem, I'm not much of a fan. You Americans have very peculiar tastes and this is a prime example of it", he couldn't deny this country had many great qualities but culinary choice wasn't one of it's better ones. Jon's eyes scanned the page and read some of the article on different cults.
"If it is some sort of devil worshipping cult", he pulled a pistol from his bag and racked a bullet into the barrel, "- then this is going to be a lot less complicated. There's no excuse for any of this once it begans to cost innocent lives."

Bianca thought about her statement some more as Jon motioned to his gun. She should probably just come clean about this-about why she had a deep down sneaking suspicion that this was not being caused by humans.
"Yeah, I need to be honest with you about something." She turned to face him, settling herself on the bed.
"I told you my family wasn't exactly thrilled with me-and there's a reason. I can..." Bianca paused. She didn't think he'd think she was nuts, but you never know.
"I can see ghosts." She told him. "Ghosts, spirits, whatever you want to call them. I'm not really psychic like Patricia Arquette Medium, but I guess I sort of am in a few ways. That's how I feel that this just is supernatural."
Bianca looked at Jon to see if he'd think she was crazy too.

Jon was a little worried when she said she had to come clean, for all he knew about her she could've been an axe murderer and dealing with one of them wasn't in his plans. When she said she was psychic he didn't know what to think.
Great, she's either telling the truth and is terrified about it or she is completely insane.
Then again she could be a demon or something and trying to make him lower his defenses. He briefly considered dumping holy water on her but demon or not he was afraid of what might happen if he followed through with it. He didn't want a pissed off anything locked in a room with him.
"Ok, so you're a psychic? That can see ghosts? I have to tell you this isn't something I've come across before. I always thought it was a crock. I'm not exactly sure how to deal with that right now, so I'll call for a pizza and if you don't mind think on it a bit", he had heard of psychics but then there were ones he'd heard of that could control people and do other destructive things and he wasn't sure if Bianca was telling the complete truth. She could be controlling him right now and he'd have no idea. It certainly kept things interesting though.

Bianca had to laugh. No one ever believed that except for the paranormal groups that she belonged to and that was mainly because they had experienced her ghostly visions.
"Yeah, I didn't expect you were really going to buy that. It's like....I don't know....they're visions. Like spirits are comfortable with me or something weird like that. I don't get it either. I'm just approachable by the dead."
It was probably the most bizarre way she'd ever stated it, but it worked. Bianca grabbed her book and got up.
"I think I have some more books out in the car. I'll go check."
She headed out of the room, closing the door behind her.

"Ya no problem, I'll see if I can find any more information."
This is by far the wierdest group of people I've ever met. There's not only a ghost seeing psychic but also a vampire that doesn't like to hurt people. What in the bloody hell have I gotten into.
Jon opened his laptop and pulled up the file he had made on Bianca and made a note that she was psychic and even made a new one for Lenore that held everything he learned about her and added the information she had given him about vampires to update his database. When he was done he leaned back and stared at his computer. If anyone ever saw the contents of his hard drive they'd think he was a lunatic.
A minute later he called the closest pizza place and ordered some lunch. He wondered where Lenore was and what she was doing. This day just got wierder and wierder.

Lenore's hunting had gone well, she had been able to find prey relatively quickly. Sure, feeding off baby deer wasn't the most charming thing she'd done, but is was better than some of the alternatives.
Walking across the parking lot she saw Bianca getting something from her car.
"You guys find anything?" The vampire asked as she drew closer to the hunter.

Bianca was rummaging around in her backseat, holding up various books. Irish FolkloreNo. Haunts of Elks CountyYes. Haunted Castles of Britain and IrelandNo. Campfire Ghost StoriesMaybe. She straightened up as she heard a familiar voice behind her. "Hey girl." She gave Lenore a wave, tossing Campfire Ghost Stories and Haunts of Elk County onto the car's roof. "Nah, we haven't picked up anything worthwild yet. Are you good to go?" Bianca was distracted by a ringing sound from the front seat. "Excuse me." She reached into the cup holder and pulled out her cell phone. INCOMING CALL FROM KALEBAnother hunter friend. Bianca opened the phone and held it to her ear. "Hey Kaleb." "What's up, B? Are you out hunting?" "Yeah. I'm checking out a thing outside of Elks central." "The pig thing?""Yeah." "Well, do me a favor. Get online and click on www.elkscreepouts.com. There's some hunter posted on the message board where he has a theory about a relative of the Jersey Devil hanging out up there." "Jersey Devil? Are you nuts?" "Maybe. But are you saying you have a better lead?"Bianca thought for a second. She didn't, unless Jon had one. "I'll go look into it. Later Kaleb." "Later. You going to be at the bar tonight?""Not hardly." "K. Bye.""Bye." Bianca clicked off her phone and turned to Lenore. "Friend of mine just gave me a suggestion. Let's go talk to Jon."

Jon was searching anything that could possibly connect to what was going on. He even went as far as to go into a chat room to see what people might be saying. With nothing better than people selling things or asking for the downloaded version of that or arranging meet ups. He was getting irritated that this wasn't working. He rubbed his chin trying to think of something but he kept drawing a balnk. It wasn't until his phone began to ring that he came free of the trance. It was a number he didn't know.
"Hello?"
Ummm.. ya dude this is the pizza guy. Where are you?
Jon gave the kid the room number and was told the food would be there in a few minutes. He pulled out his wallet and grabbed a twenty, his mind drifted back to trying to figure something out. He went back to his computer and tried a few more searches, all of them returning fruitless. He really hated the internet sometimes.

Bianca headed into the room, leaving the door adjar for Lenore. Jon was still working on his computer. "Check out www.elkscreepouts.com" She told him. "I just got a call from a buddy of mine. He heard something about a potential Jersey Devil relative here." Bianca flipped open her Elks County ghost book and turned to a section labeled "Roaming Critters." "No one has seen any evidence that it might be a bird, have then?" She looked at a paragraph regarding a giant bird that had supposedly been known to pick up animals and children.

Reading the section over Bianca's shoulder, Lenore searched her memory for anything that would fit the description. The only thing that came to mind was the strange scent that the vampire would pick up in different places around the woods.
"It might account for the smell."

Jon scanned the page she gave him looking for recent eyewitness reports.
"Yes actually, some people say that it comes out of nowhere and grabs people and pets. Either it jumps out of trees or from heights or it glides down. If it does fly it'll be harder to track unless we can find it's nest."
He continued to go over the page but there was little else of consequence. From what people were saying it was a pretty decent sized creature. He'd have to make a note to bring a rifle and a larger caliber pistol.
"Does it say anything in there about what attracts it or weaknesses. The site doesn't mention much on that. It's mostly eyewitnesses and articles about hoaxes."
