Meg had found it all but impossible clear off the satisfied smirk on her face as she drove from Kansas and into Texas. She could still feel the warm sensation of Dean Winchester’s blood as it cascaded over her hands and the sound his neck had made as she snapped it would be sure to stick with her for a long while.
She knew her father would be pleased and she had for the moment played out all of her parts to the “T” in the plan brewing beneath the surface. She wasn’t stupid though she knew better then to hang around in Texas knowing it would only be a matter of time before The Winchesters – 1 and other hunters came searching for her…though they couldn’t really harm her without harming Sam…but they could send her back to hell…and well that really didn’t fit into her schedule at the time.
She had arrived in Texas and as she stood in front of the old house that stood before her she couldn’t help but smirk. Legend in the area had it so that the house was haunted…if it wasn’t then it should would be now with her company. She pulled her bags from the car and made her way into the house setting up her summoning alter immediately and setting up everything else she would need for her temporary lodgings.
Her anger boiled slightly though at the thought that Ruby had really so much as dared to meddle in affairs which were so much bigger then her. She hated the little witch and wished she could send her back to hell herself. There wasn’t time at the present for that of course…but there would be; there always came a time…

Ruby had been watching Meg, ever since she had killed Dean at the cemetary. Unfortunatly she hadn't been there soon enough to even contemplate saving the eldest Winchester brother. She did feel bad that it had happened after all Dean was Sam's older brother, but she did feel kinda angry at herself for letting Dean get this far way to go up against Meg on his own. He must of known it was a suicide mission. She wanted to go to see Sam, to tell him what happened if he was conscious, but decided to stay away for the moment, a little aprenhensive whether Sam would want to see her. She had thought about moving Dean's body, but Meg was so close to it, she didn't want to risk it.
It was then she lost track of the demon, as she got pulled into something else. Managing to make a new friend and kill off a few extra demons that could have waited, and really tried her patience, she had put her knife back in her belt at the side, ready to grab if needed. And she knew she needed it if she turned a corner and found Meg lurking round.
It was only afterwards that she had found out what Meg had done to Dean's body and his car. She had ended up outside the house, as she saw past the car, seeing the damage the car had done, and everyone inside, just coming down the stairs and seeing what it was. Ruby was standing outside, but when they started coming downstairs she disappeared, knowing now, she needed to confront the demon, before she destroyed much more, especially in the Winchester's lives, and because she needed Sam to survive.
Ruby picked up Meg's trail again, this time in Texas. Bitch, should learn to cover her tracks better. She thought to herself, as she found herself looking up at the Haunted House that she knew Meg was in. Still unsure how she was going to handle Meg without hurting Sam, she figured a different approach would be needed.
Suddenly she was gone from outside the house, and appeared inside it, standing in the doorway of the room Meg was in. "You know, you're pretty easy to track." Ruby said, leaning on the door frame, her gaze sweeping the room for a moment, before resting on Meg again. "And if I've found you, I'm sure it won't be long until a few hunters do to." She told her, looking straight at her, with a straight face. There would be no smile just yet...Meg was just a cocky, smart-mouthed bitch, nothing she couldn't handle.

Meg turned as she heard Ruby’s voice fill the small space of the room she ahd for the moment set up shop in.
“You know you’re pretty easy to predict,” Meg replied with a smirk as she pulled herself off of the floor and walked closer to Ruby till she was standing mer inches from her.
Meg pouted slightly but it quickly turned into a malicious grin her eyes burning back into Ruby’s she still didn’t know how the pathetic excuse of a demon had managed to crawl out of hell but then again mistakes were always fixable.
“Well goodness me I suppose you’re right…but then of course that only means I get more chances to try out some really spiffy ways of killing them,” she said running her tongue along her bottom lip before turning from Ruby and going back to the table which sat in the corner of the room. She hoisted herself upon it and stared back at the demon.
“So do tell me what you’re exactly here about…or oh wait a second I bet I can guess it’s one of three I’m sure or god damn it may be all three lets just go crazy…one the fact that I killed Dean Winchester has your panties all in a bundle? The fact that I have been harming your little boy crush Sammy Winchester could be two…and maybe just maybe it all stems back to little Sammy’s deal that he played right into…you do know about his deal right?” Meg asked a sparkle in her eyes as she recalled what she had learned regarding the youngest Winchester.
“Give the boy a knife and he’ll slit his own wrists,” she proclaimed with a laugh as she pulled her legs up to sit cross legged on the table resting her elbows on her knees and her face in her hands as she stared back at Ruby with a smile.
“Boy does more damage then I ever could…”

Ruby stood her ground as Meg walked toward her, and she folded her arms loosely. Not in a defensive way, more like defiance. She hated Meg with a passion, although she only really hated her because of who she worked for, who she was working to destroy. It just took time.
She just kept an eye on the demon, in case she tried anything under hand, and met her gaze as she tried to be intimidating. "Well unless those hunters kill you first, you cocky bitch. You're not gonna kill everyone, and you should remember that." Ruby shot back at Meg when she mentioned she was going to come up with some 'spiffy' ways in which to kill more people.
She walked further into the room as Meg turned round and sat herself on the table. Ruby walked and stood in the middle of the room facing Meg still, hardly taking her eyes off her, but kept her arms folded calmly.
She glared slightly as Meg started reeling off a list of possible reasons she was here, but kept quiet and let her talk. "I know what Sam did, and I know about the deal...unfortunatly...And okay Dean is a jackass but he really didn't deserve to die, and well I suppose you being the demon you are, had to kill him anyway." Ruby said bluntly with a slight shrug as if she didn't care.
"So just a question.." Ruby started by passing the rest of Meg's theories of why she was there, though it was partly due to them. "Why did you run all the way to Texas? Why not just kill the Winchester's and get it over with, I mean they were all in one house, or are you just really sadistic and love to torture them?!" She said to her, letting her arms fall to her side, her right arm hovering over her knife, wanting to use it to get Meg out of the girl's body she was using and send her back to Hell, but she still wasn't sure whether Sam would survive it or not if they were linked. She was hoping Sam would be strong enough normally, but what he had gone through, she didn't think he would survive it at the moment.
“Boy does more damage then I ever could…”
A smile flashed across Ruby's face for a moment before disappearing again, "Only with you behind prodding gently." She commented, tilting her head slightly as she watched the other demon.

Meg smiled confidently and all be it amused as Ruby proclaimed that she couldn’t kill all of them. Ruby had no idea exactly what it was she was capable of.
“I could kill everyone Ruby…you underestimate me and that will be the last stupid thing you do one of these days,” Meg replied with a sharp smirk. A spiteful pout crossed Meg’s face as Ruby declared Sam’s unfortunate.
“Now now don’t go belittling the poor boys stupidity…I mean sacrifice…I mean just think about all the fun we could have with good old Sammy Winchester down in hell…centuries and centuries in hell I for one am so very very excited by the prospect of hearing how loud and long he can scream,” Meg said with a smirk knowing she was pushing Ruby’s buttons just so. There was something about Sam Winchester that got Ruby’s goat and Meg had yet to figure out what it is but she would.
“Just think though Ruby when Sammy goes to hell you’ll have him all to yourself…your own little puppy play toy that you can use and abuse as much as you wish, no more toying around with Dean to get to Sam and so on and so forth he would be completely at your mercy…his deal could work very much in your favor,” meg said her eyes never leaving Meg’s as she spoke.
“I don’t run I merely needed a vacation…just a bit of time to go port side if you will,” Meg said with a wink as she hopped off the table and paced the floor gently.
“And must you even ask…you should know me by now Ruby…I want to see the Winchester’s squirm and suffer as much as possible and what better way then to rip them to shreds using Sam first and then going up the ladder…so yes I am sadistic is that a news flash?” Mega asked with a laugh.
“Now sweetie I never do anything gently I gladly and brutally will push Sam into the fire pit myself if I can,” Meg replied happily.

"You wish." Ruby stated, as Meg tried to tell her she could kill everyone. "I'd stop trying to tell yourself you could kill everyone...you couldn't and with me there, it just wouldn't happen." Ruby told her confidentely, getting a little more pissed off by the demon every second. Especially since she kept talking about Sam like she was a love sick puppy running after him.
"I'd prefer Sam on earth rather than Hell." She said to Meg, moving forward closer to the other demon as she started pacing. "He's more useful up here to me, would you believe." She told Meg matching her glance eye to eye. "Okay so I wouldn't let you hurt him, or send him to Hell, and I'd do everything I could to stop it, even if it means killing you, and leaving him on the edge of death. At least he'd survive and you wouldn't be roaming this place, having me hunt down your ugly ass everytime you do something." Ruby said to her with a slight grin.
Then suddenly without warning Ruby spun on the spot hitting out at Meg, aiming a surprising shot across her face with her hand. She had just crossed her line, and she knew Sam would feel it, but he would survive in the end...Whether Meg would is another question...
Ruby then kicked out with a kick aimed at Meg's stomach and threw a punch at her for good measure. She wasn't happy, and Meg's mouth had just been open for too long, and she had talked for too long, and Ruby just had to do something about it. "I think I'll push you first into Hell. Bitch." She said. She wanted to get her knife out, but didn't think she could kill her yet. But it would sure teach her a lesson. She knew Meg thought she wasn't worth anything, but she was worth so much more than Meg even knew, she knew more than Meg would even know, but she wasn't to know that. Not yet anyway.

Meg smirked back completely amused by Ruby's little rant about being able to kill her yet spare Sam.
"See that is where you don't completely understand the fine print of mine and Sammy's little... bond. Whatever you do to me he feels it full bore, no mercy, no less... if anything worse since he isn't a demon...I can last so much longer then Sammy can so I would keep that in mind when contemplating killing me... unless of course Sammy is my travel gift then maybe just maybe it would be worth it. We have plans for him Ruby... demons have plans for him who are higher up then me or you and they'll get him and if you're smart you'll stand by them instead of against them."
Meg was slightly taken aback as Ruby's fist collided with her face sending blood pouring from her nose. She took several steps back from her as she cleaned the blood from her face her eyes never leaving Ruby's.
"Ladies and gentlemen the bitch as some balls," Meg hissed with a sneer of hatred growing ever more apparent. Meg stumbled backwards in response to the kick and punch Ruby aimed at her. She had to admit the little bitch could fight.
"I'm sue Sammy appreciates it," Meg hissed as she pulled herself up from the floor glring at Ruby.
"I do wonder after the job Lev. did on him using Dean's meat suite how much more he can take...I would think he has to be in the hospital by now hell if he isn't already dead... you did know about that right? The whole possession deal? I have to hand it to him Lev. clearly is one of a kind," Meg said with a smirk as she launched herself at Ruby causing them both to crash backwards. She reered her fist back and planted several well placed punches to Ruby's face before pulling he self off of her and slamming her foot into her side once more for good measure.
"So tell me do you want to be the one responsible for sending Sammy packing to hell early? Cause it can be arranged... they may even throw you a parade," Meg replied curtly as she cleaned the blood from her face with her jacket sleeve.

Ruby felt a little relief when her fist had collided Meg's face the first time, and then when she had kicked her, she felt a lot better, but then came that twinge of guilt about hurting Sam...It was all that 'in the moment' that she had just felt, and wanted to shut that bitch Meg up...Her voice was starting to grate on her. "Lev is another one of you who pisses me off easily, perhaps I should hunt him down too...But not before I fix our little problem." She replied to Meg as she watched the demon climb off the floor.
She readied herself for an attack which she presumed would come from Meg, but she hadn't been expecting the demon to crash into her and fell on the floor with a hard crash. She felt the blows Meg landed, feeling blood running down her face when Meg lifted herself off her, and she tried to catch her breath and re-orrientate herself, when she felt a kick in her side.
She laid there for a moment, wiping her nose and seeing blood on the back of her hand. She stood up slowly, crouching and then standing completly, wiping her face with her sleeve again, trying to get some of the blood off and looking back up at Meg, with hatred in her eyes.
"We both know that the demons higher up than us want Sam, its just we want him for different reasons. You for evil, and me to stop you. And what better to go to the source of his pain, but you!" Ruby told said to her, walking around Meg, glancing at her, and then at her nice little alter she had all set up. A smirk crossed Ruby's face as she glanced at what was lying around, not a lot, but perhaps enough. "Thats a nice little alter you have there..." She mused as if she were talking to herself, but of course that wasn't the case. "The link to Daddy?! Aww does he miss you? Or is it the other way round?" She teased slightly.
She moved over next to the alter, glancing around and back at Meg, wondering what the demon would think, about her being to close to her calling card for now. I bet there's a few things around here that could undo a certain curse...She thought, but then figured it would be best to maybe disappear in a bit, put something together, and then come back for the bitch, Ruby thought to herself as she started concocting another plan in her head.

Meg laughed as Ruby brought up hunting down Lev as well.
“Oh dear sweet naive…stupid…little Ruby do you really think you begin to contend with what we are? What we stand for? Do you really think a whore of an ex-witch like yourself could ever compare to actual demons? You lost your soul…gave it up to be what? A witch? Yeah I am sure you’ll do well at ending just about…nothing,” Meg snapped her eyes drilling into Ruby.
“I just want to play with Sammy for a little while there are others who I serve who will make him what he is truly meant to be. Maybe if you just fcked him already you could get the whole Winchester craving desire out of your system it could do wonders for this angelic attitude you have going for you sweet cheeks,” Meg offered up with a smirk.
Meg’s eyes narrowed as Ruby saw fit to make her way near the alter used to contact her father and the other demons.
“I wouldn’t dabble in that which you don’t know sweetie,” Meg hissed and with a flick of her hand she sent a force at Ruby which would pin her to the opposite wall and hold her there till Meg saw fit to let her go.

Ruby crossed her arms as she turned to face Meg head on, even though she was halfway across the room from her, and narrowed her eyes slightly as she listened to the demon, go on about how she was going to amount to nothing, and not capable of stopping them. "Well hun, sorry to burst your bubble but being an ex-witch there are certain things I know that you don't. I know you think your all high and mighty, but sorry to burst your bubble, your not as big as you think think you are." Ruby retorted, taking a couple of steps towards Meg again.
"I mean please Winchester obsession I don't think so. Shows how much you do know about me, I help the Winchester's because they're the ones that are gonna bring you down, and just because I talk to Sam all the time doesn't quite mean I want to fck him." She frowned. "If Dean was less of an ass and I spoke to him, you'd probably say that about him as well." Ruby said to her, annoyed that she couldn't just kill this bitch. She had a good idea of how to do it now, she just needed some time, although Meg seemed to not want to give her time when she went flying back across the room and hit the opposite wall with a thud.
A laugh came out of Ruby's mouth as she looked at the demon, "Oh please, you really think you can hold me here for that long, I'm just as powerful as you, perhaps even more." She started, knowing she was pushing some of Meg's buttons.

Meg smirked as she eyed Ruby and slowly paced the floor.
“The Winchesters are going to bring us down? I’ll be sure to hold my breath for that one…really I will. John Winchester is too consumed with wanting to win to actually ever win and Dean and Sam…though in less then a month it will just be Sam,” Meg corrected herself happily.
“Dean will surely do something stupid once Sam is gone which will get him killed and once John is without his dear boys the man will be like a ticking time bomb only issue is he will only end up taking out himself,” Meg said happily as she picked a chair up from the floor and sat back down upon it still glaring at Ruby.
“I don’t intend to hold you there for long at all just long enough for you to stop being a royal pain in the ass,” Meg muttered picking a few flecks of blood out from her finger nails.
“You should really think of investing some of your time in the winning team my dear,” Meg said as she glared back at Ruby.

Ruby tried shifting on the spot for the moment, but getting very far but knew she wouldn't for the time being, she was just trying to settle for a spot that was a little more comfortable. She frowned as Meg happily muttered on about the Winchester clan, and ticking time bombs, great that was all she needed to listen to. "You know are you sure you should be calling me obsessed with the Winchesters? I mean come on...You can never keep your mind off them, and always muttering about them some time or another, perhaps you should do something about that." Ruby said to her with a smirk crossing her face before disappearing just as quick.
"Oh the winning team?! I think I am investing my time in the winning team thanks very much. Whatever you or anyone does to the Winchesters and other hunters, they will bounce back, but once you lot are sent to Hell then thats the end. You won't get out again until the gates are open or someone lets you out, and the chances of that are too slim for you hun, specially since you've tied yourself to Sam. It'll only be a matter of time until you go back down where you belong." Ruby threatened, matching Meg's gaze straight on.

Meg smirked as Ruby continued to talk on. She slowly paced the floor her boots scuffing along the worn floor of the old house.
"You know Ruby you surprise me...here you are following me when a hop skip and a jump away Sam Winchester lays in a coma...his body wasted and his mind spent and his time...well his time still ticking away.
"Of course I have an obsession with the Winchesters...they are just too fun to torture not to...the scent of their blood and how rich their drive and agony just tears from them...it's intoxicating Ruby. No lie you have no idea what you're missing by playing for the goody two shoes. Where the Winchesters are concerned it is much more comfy to dwell in the darkness," Meg said with a small sinister smile as she racked her nails across the skin of her arms.
Her wounds had long since healed but she knew the ones Sam Winchester was sporting wouldn't have, along with any of the new ones his posessed brother had given to him.
"AS long as Sam lives I live end of story Ruby...anything happens to me it happens to him. Though he is for now only human so he can die so much easier then I can," Meg said her eeys burning into Ruby forcing her harder against the wall the old plaster cracking under the strain.
She grabbed a nearby candle stick the flames licking up into the air and her eyes fixed upon it for a moment befoe she dragged the top of her elft hand over the flame the fire licking and burning immediately.
"Adding insult to injury," she smiled wickedly her hand still over the flame.
"I wonder exactly how much he can take before he breaks completely?"

"What I choose to do with myself is up to me...Not you Meg...And whether Sam's time is ticking or not, something will happen. I'm pretty sure of it." Ruby replied defiently, not worried about Meg. She might not be able to kill the demon yet but she would make sure she would when the time came. That was a certain.
She watched the demon pace the room slowly, not taking her eyes off her, seeing as she never knew what she was going to do next. She watched Meg rake her fingers across her arm, knowing if she was still human she'd be cringing at that, but she wasn't so she didn't feel that need, she just had the thought about Sam, and what might be happening to him now. She cared about him enough to worry and that damm deal he struck certainly wasn't going to give her enough time to show him what he was capable of.
"Well just you wait, you'll get what's coming to you." She pulled a face when she was forced into the wall more, damaging the body she was possessing, but she couldn't help it, and didn't really care at this moment in time. "The Winchester's will find a way. They always do, and when they do, you and you father and the rest of your friends will be sent back down to the pit to suffer til the end of days." Ruby said, almost spitting the words out of her mouth with anger. She moved her hand slightly on her side where she could feel her knife and just about get to it. She knew she couldn't do anything just yet, but Meg didn't know that. She just needed to get out of here soon, she'd got the information she needed and she didn't need another sparring session with daddy's little girl.
Ruby shook her head, shaking some of the blonde hair out of her face so she could see more clearly, and saw Meg with a candle and a flam "He's stronger than he looks." Ruby added a little quieter than her previous outburst. "You're going to fail, and then you'll be in trouble." Ruby was kinda taunting the other demon now, she was just pushing buttons and messing with her head. It was the only thing she could do at the moment, as she bided her time.

“Oh yes something will happen…you’ll be able to stand there with his pathetic brother and worthless father and listen to his agonizing screams as the hellhounds rip dear old Sammy to shreds…It’ll be a hell of a show I’m sure…no pun intended,” Meg said with a smirk as she kept her hand hovered over the open flame allowing the fire to lick and burn at her skin reddening and blistering the skin an angry red.
A laugh filtered from Meg as Ruby continued to go on and on about how the Winchesters would save the day.
“Darlin’ we really should just get you a set of Winchester pajamas and call it a day,” Meg whispered with a smile as she finally pulled her hand away from the candle inspecting her hand for a moment before flashing it over to Ruby with a smile.
“That’ll leave a mark and the puppy now don’t you think?” Meg asked with a smirk as she paced slowly in front of Ruby trying to figure out exactly what she wanted to do with her next. Time was fleeting after all.
“Oh no I will give you that the little bastard is very strong willed but I think in the oh…17 days he has between now and the time his deal comes do I can very thoroughly break him. Anyways a normal human body can only take so much and dear old Sammy has yet to become your Lord and master isn’t that right Ruby?” Meg asked with a smirk as she made her way directly in front of Ruby.
“You would like to tear me from pillar to post wouldn’t you Ruby?” Meg asked her head cocking slightly to the right as she glared back at her.
“You could you know…but at the same time you would be adding slightly more insult to dear old Sam who as we speak still is wasting his last few days rotting behind the walls of the hospital…but daddy has plans for that as well,” Meg said with a smirk rocking slightly back and forth on the balls of her feet.
