Today was just like any other day except for the fact that Adera had her training again. It was her daily routine going to her friend Jake's house and training. He didn't know why specificly why she trained so much and she made sure he never knew.
"Hey" She said walking into his house with her bag in hand. The bag she always carried when ever she was about to go out and fight. "Hey, you ready?" He asked coming down the stairs in his t-shirt and jeans. She smiled slightly. She was always ready and the fact he had to ask just annoyed me. "I always am" She said with a smirk throwing her bag on his couch heading down to his basement.
She didn't even know why she trained with him. He was easy to beat. She needed a challenge. Someone who could take her on. She was covered in sweat and grabbed her towel wiping it off. Jake was passed out on the floor. She looked up at the clock to see it was late. She grabbed her clothes out of her bag and walked upstairs to change into her night outfit. She was dressed in her leather pants and fitting tanktop. Before she left the house she locked the door and took out her gun. This will be an interesting night.

She walked down the street looking up at the moon. Today had been one of the many days she could actually take. A tad bit boring but a smooth day. She walked slowly picking up a stick and let it run across the fence she was passing. Tonight will be interesting. Interesting in deed. She wasn't stupid. She's been hunting since she was fourteen. She knew when she was being followed.
"Come out, Come out wherever you are" She said dropping the stick turning around. She heard a snap on a twig and she quickly leaned down and took out her gun. She was very cautious. I mean who wouldn't be at this moment. You never know who's out and about. A psycho. A drunk. A demon. A vampire. She needed to be ready for anything. So she put her gun back and took out a knife.
Her favorite knife. It was given to her father as a fourteenth birthday present. She couldn't really complain since all she knew how to do was hunt and that was what she did best besides her other activities she enjoyed. The knife was the only thing she had of her father's since he left her and her mother. Speaking of her mother. She didn't really have much of anything that was her mothers except her eyes. Eyes that pour into you when she was trying to make a decision about you.
She tapped her foot on the ground waiting for someone to come out. They were smart not coming out so soon. They'd be dead if they did. She reluctantly put the knife back away. She knew whoever was following her would come out eventually. If they were an ally or a demon she wasn't going to let them go without and explanation on why they were following her.
She picked up the stick she had dropped when she heard the twig snap and continued her walk. She was going to find out who was following her and if she didn't like them right away, well bye bye sweetie pie.

"Bit jumpy there you know...the bushes don't usually tree and eat people," She heard a voice say as her head shot up to see a man was infront of her. She punched him square in the face as soon as she saw him infront of her. He fell to the ground and she placed her foot on his throat.
"Do I know you?" She asked applying more pressure to his throat as she looked down at the man who was holding his nose. Who ever he was he seemed little. The man hadn't spoken so she applied more pressure to his throat. She heard him gasp so she released a little bit.
"Are you gonna speak now?" She asked rolling her eyes. She stared at him and took out her knife now fully annoyed. "Why are you following me?" She hissed taking her foot of his throat and onto his chest. He was becoming a waste of time.
He wasn't going to speak and that annoyed her terribly. She took her foot of his chest and stood above him.
"You know if you don't say anything, I'm gonna take that as a sign to kick your ass" I said smirking. He stood up still holding his nose. Thank you dad for teaching me how to throw a punch.
Whoever he was he was wasting her time. She had places to go. Demons to kill. Vampires to hunt. Maybe meet some other hunters. Anything is better than this if he doesn't talk soon.

He had barely been standing in front of the girl w hole second before she punched him square in the face. He had so not anticipated that move and the jolt of the punch sent him crashing backwards on to the side walk.
He had a few choice swear words he would have ebeen more then happy to get out but the girl's foot upon his throat seemed to be making that point pretty much out of the question. He was already losing his patience with the girl but it would be no fun if he went and gave away the goat already so he had to swallow his pride...which mind you was not an easy thing for him to do and play along with the rather shitty game he had started.
As she finally decided to stop using him as a doormat he pulled himself back up on his feet with a low growl ttrying to maintain his cool. For fcks sake he was a fcking God and she had just cleaned the floor with him...for now anyways.
"Jesus Christ do you always beat the hell out of people or should I feel special?" he asked finding his voice as he rubbed his throat and cleaned the blood from under his nose.
"I wasn't following you...I was lookin out for you," he lied taking a few paces back from her willing to play the not so brave hunter card.
"The names..." well fck he always hated coming up with names on the fly he liked to be creative and it never went well.
"Gregory...House," he replied with a smirk remebering the name of a doctor on some show he had seen a few nights back.
"And if you could stop trying to kill me your name would be ace."

She looked at him with making an odd face. Gregory House? You have got to be kidding. She rolled her eyes and kept the knife in her hand. She looked him over. Looking out for her, her ass.
"Adera Murray and I don't need a weak little man looking out for me" She snapped, pushing him to the side. She started to walk away only to hear footsteps behind her. She stopped in her spot and looked at the man.
"Look Gregory" She said emphasizing his name not believing it."I really don't have time for a stalker all right" She said turning around to walk away only to hear another step. "Okay you obviously don't understand what i'm saying" She snapped pulling out her gun and pointing it at him. "Incase you haven't noticed, I don't need you to look out for me so why don't you go find some poor defenceless girl and have fun watching out for her" She snapped puting her gun to the side.
This guy seriously was getting on her nervese. She didn't like him and the fact that he said he was looking out for her made her blood boil. She has been alone since she twenty. She didn't need anyone to look after her then. She didn't need anyone to look after her now. She continued her walk down the street and into the woods. She still had a feeling her was following her but she ignored it and went deeper into the woods.

The Tricksters eyes narrowed at the girl as she pushed past him; yup he was losing his patience and that would not end well for her. Little Miss Adera didn't know the first thing about what was standing right next to her and she was going to learn a lesson about being a little too self dependent aka being a bitch.
"Ok my apologies I'll be sure not to get in your way," he called ater her a sly smirk spread across his face as he watched her make her way into the woods. With a snap of his finegrs the Trickster was gone from sight. He re-appeared a few paces behind Adera making sure to be extrmley silent in his little game and in the very next second a large hole opened up in the ground directly where Adera had just walked over here thus leaving her with the issue of no longer standing on ground.
"Just for a bit more kick," he whispered and with another snap the hole filled itself with water and a few snakes so that Adera would be sure to make a splash as she fell down. She should be fine though since she was so good on her own. Vanity was an excellent game to play and he would have fun playing it. With another snap the Trickster was out of sight but keeping a very close eye.
