Name: Morgan Scott Caine
Age: 27 years old
Appearance:
Hometown:
Richmond, VA
Family: Theodore James Caine (Father - Deceased) and Mary-Beth Caine (Mother - Deceased)
Special Abilities: Extremely high computer skills
Weapons of Choice:
I would prefer to use computers instead of guns...besides nobody really wants to give a gun to the blind guy.
Status: CIA Agent
History:
Morgan Caine was an only son born into what many in the agency know as a CIA family; both of his parents were in the CIA and it seemed only logical that once Morgan finished college he became a CIA agent as well. His strong point was in technology and he proved to be an extremely good addition to the Special Ops Tech Team in Iraq.
It was in Iraq that Morgan had his accident which would leave him blind for what the doctors explained would without a doubt be the rest of his life. He had known that it was his own fault but he would have never guessed the little girl on the side of the road would have been hiding a grenade in the sand and he had been far too close when it had gone off the pieces of shrapnel damaging his sight permanently.
But Morgan had always been a bit pig headed so it was really no surprise to anyone who had ever known him for more then 5 minutes that he refused to allow his slight mishap to control too much of his life...besides it gave him an excuse to put the CIA's tech lab to work to sort out a good number of gadgets he could use to make up for the loss of his sight.
Even without his sight Morgan proved to be one of the top CIA agents and he spent a lot of time visiting different offices around the United States. Upon the death of his parents Morgan made the Nashville CIA office his home base needing a change from life as a whole...but not to big of a change.
There was a problem with Morgan some would say and that was the fact that he really had no issue with being blind...and he had no intention of it getting in his way. He had loved cars before he lost his sight and couldn't possibly see why everyone freaked when he mentioned wanting to drive...ok well maybe he would give them that one but just barely. Something he hated more then anything in the world though was being treated like a child...or an invalid so he never really took kindly to being instructed to stay in the car.
As was the case when the agency was closing in on what seemed to be unrelated murders which were springing up all over Nashville. Morgan had worked his ass off on the case and was none to happy to be told he would only get in the way and to wait in the car while the rest of the team went in to investigate. Never one to ignore a direct order Morgan stayed in the car...for exactly 3 minutes...they hadn't told him how long he needed to stay in the car for...
Thins but what they become Morgan would later think that perhaps it would have been best if he had stayed in the car. That thought occurred to him right around he was slammed in the back of the head with the lid of a trash can. For anyone else the world would have gone fuzzy but for Morgan it all just stayed black...but the sounds were sharp and for the first time in a very long time Morgan was scared.
The thing about to kill him he would later find out from a vampire had been a demon...yes you heard correctly...he heard from a vampire that a demon had been about to kill him. The under side of the seemingly already dark world took some getting used to but having had the unlikely friendship with vampire Catherine Bathory spring up made life a bit simpler and soon Morgan found himself rather well known in the world of the supernatural as a gadget and weapon expert of sorts.
He looked the other way in regards to Catherine's killing...after all she had saved his life and he owed her so he made sure his debt was paid in full. Though he wouldn't admit it to her he classifies Catherine as the nearest thing to family he has left and he does his best to look out for her...as much as a blind guy can look out for someone...
