Jeff had been out of the game for way to long. The last time he had some fun was before some hunters kicked him out of his body back in Colorado. But now he was back and ready to cause some serious mayhem. He had just killed a lovely blond in a very "demon here come get me" kind of way. He hoped for the hunters from Colorado but as of now any hunter would do.

Another day, another dead end. The search for Mujing was going nowhere fast, and Fengyu didn't know what to do next. One would think that knowing which demon her brother served would make it easier to find him, but the information had really only given her false lead after false lead. Lilith and her lackies were most certainly active, but thus far she hadn't run across any activity in which Mujing had been involved.
The latest hunt had been small, two low level demons had been trying to establish some sort of base. They had been sloppy, and evidently expecting something other than a human hunter to attack them. Fengyu had been able to send both demons back to hell with only a little difficulty. Being from the east, she was still relatively new to demons, but so far she'd managed to stay alive.

Jeff was still waiting for something to happen. He knew that his one kill wasn't going to atract much atention so he decided to have some more fun. He spoted a woman that was a perfect match for his plan. He stepped in front of her and said.
"Now what's a lovely girl like you doing here at this hour. It can be dangerous you know." He said as nice as he possibly could.

Suspicion came as naturally as breathing to any hunter worth his or her salt, so naturally Fenyu was suspicious of the stranger that suddenly started talking to her. Since coming to America she'd had several chance encounters with people who turned out to be more than they had originally appeared. Not to mention that 'it could be dangerous' was one of the most cliché bad guy lines ever uttered.
The woman crossed her arms, a move that put her hand much closer to her gun, before replying. "No speak English." Sometimes it was best to play into stereotypes, it never hurt to be underestimated in a fight.

Hearing the woman say that made it even more fun for Jeff. He hoped that this tourist had come with a large group. That should atract some hunters. Even though Jeff had a huge urge to just kill this woman in some horribly fun way he believed that trying to get to that group was a better idea.
"Where are your friends" He asked her. "Or did you come to America alone?"

Continuing to play the part of the non-English speaking oriental, the hunter widened her eyes and shook her head in a slightly confused manner. "No English." She repeated slowly.
It never ceased to amaze Fengyu that a person would continue to speak to someone in their language even after the person to whom they were speaking indicated that he or she could not speak that language. In her experience, speaking came easier than understanding. When you were constructing a statement in your head, you could take all the time you wanted, absorbing what another was saying has to be done instantly.

Jeff had gotten tired of his own game. He just wanted to kill this tourist now. So he grabbed one of his knives showed his true eyes and lunged at the woman.

The black eyes and knife crossed any language barriers that might have existed. Fengyu's instincts had been correct in not trusting the man. The world had certainly become a dangerous place if demons were just wandering around killing people for kicks. Lore indicated that demons were usually more purposeful.
"屁話!" Acting on instincts that years of training she grabbed the demon's arm and used his momentum to flip him over her. It was basic self-defense, but useful. Backing away from him she reached for her flask of holy water rather than the gun.

Jeff realised to late that the tourist he just tried to kill, was in fact a hunter. Jeff wondered for a second if she really couldn't speak english or if she already knew what he was. The wondering about that disappeared after she pulled a bottle of water from her jacket which was probably holy water. He did a step back and said:
"Is that all? No fancy devils traps or anything? Are you an amateur or something?"

Fengyu scowled when the demon suggested that she was an amateur simply for not having a devil's trap handy. Its's not like they were portable, or that she had been expecting to be jumped by a random demon. His accusation was just silly. Besides, he seemed wary enough of the holy water, and she still had plenty of salt in her pack from her last hunt.
"Won't need."

Daniel was just passing through on his hunt for Jon but the sight of a guy and girl drew his attention. He'd become very adept at reading body language and something said this wasn't good. He had barely made it down the street and turned his car around when he saw the guy lunge at the girl with a wicked looking knife. He was momentarily glad when he saw she managed to throw him off.
Quickly pulling over he leapt out of his car and made his way over. He just caught the words 'devil trap' and realized that he'd stumbled on to a hunt. Obviously she was the hunter seeing as she was the one holding what was probably holy water. Daniel quickly pulled his pistol from his waist and fired two shots in a tight group right into the man's back.
He suspected he was a demon and knew the bullets wouldn't do anything but as long as it's attention was on him and not the girl she might be able to douse him with holy water. He just wished he'd thought to grab his own flask of holy water before jumping out. All he had was his pistol and a small silver blade. Neither of which would do any real harm other than piss the demon off more.

Jeff felt the stings in his back. Probably a trigger happy cop or something he thought. When turned around and saw a regular looking man standing there he realised that once again he was facing two hunters.
"Oh for the devils sake don't you hunters ever go in alone!"

Although Fengyu hadn't been expecting any help in with the demon, it was very appreciated. The distraction provided by the other hunter was especially welcome. Quickly she pulled up on the neck of the plastic flask to open the bottle. As soon as she had a good shot the woman squeezed the bottle and sent a stream of water directly at the demons face. Then she started to put as much room between herself and the possessed man as possible. It would take time to remove her supplies from the pack, and it would go much easier if she were not being mauled by a demon.
"God hates you?" Fengyu suggested when the demon lamented over the presence of two hunters.

Daniel could only shrug in response to the demon's anger. He wasn't sure what he was talking about but he wasn't about to sit down and ask him. He watched as the girl opened her holy water and flung it at the demon's face. It had barely begun to burn before the girl was running off.
She left me to deal with this?
He brought his gun back up and fired another shot that drilled right into the demon's head. While it had no effect it served to piss him off which was what Daniel was going for. He pulled his silver blade with his free hand in case the demon charged him. He just hoped what ever the girl was doing, she did it fast.

Jeff screamed in pain from the holy water. Though the pain was horrible Jeff knew that it wasn't half as much pain as he would inflict on them. After the pain had faded he felt another bullet go into his face and saw that the man had a small silver knife in his hands.
"You call tha a knife?" He said. He reached to the back of is sweater where he hid his most prized possession. His long silver machete. "Now this is a killer!" He screamed and lunged at the man.
