Why Andy had decided to meet her brother in an aquarium, she had no idea. Which was probably a good thing... if even she had no idea what she was doing, it was very unlikely that Vikers or any of the others looking for her would have any idea about what she was doing. Which was a plus.
And to help herself remain hidden, Andy had actually cleaned herself up and gotten some new clothes. How she had done these... no one would ever know. The point was she now looked like an actualy human being. And more to the point, a human being that looked nothing like Andrea Fletcher. For starters, she was wearing... a dress. It would be the one and only time in her entire life that she would wear a dress... but anyone looking at her would not assume she was an escaped convict. A large hat, sunglasses and... heels (another item of clothing she didn't plan on wearing ever again)... completed her disguise. In all honesty she looked completely ridiculous... but at least she didn't look like herself.
She stared at the fish tank in front of her, removing her sunglasses to get a better look. Being inside, in a darkened room, she figured the sunglasses actually looked more suspicios than anything else. An angel fish paused in front of her, examined her briefly then swam away quickly, startled by something. Andy wondered what it would be like to be a fish... life would be much simpler, that was for sure. Just swim around, eat stuff, try not to get eaten by a bigger fish... yeah... nice and simple.
Turning away from the tank, Andy sighed. How had she been reduced to wishing she were a fish? Andy Fletcher did not do simple. She glanced around the room in search of her brother. She really hoped Rory showed up... she didn't think she'd be able to just sit on her theory and leave it be... and if Andy were to be totally honest with herself... she didn't want to act on it by herself.

Rory could truthfully say that thus far in his life he had never received a carrier pigeon…that was something he would no longer be able to say though. He had been more then surprised to find the bird pecking away at the back window but truly not surprised to find the letter attached to the bird was from his sister. He could question the fact that she somehow knew how to use a carrier pigeon but sometimes it was best not to know.
Aquarium. 12:30. I found something.
Don't be followed.
xx
Straight and to the point and Rory wouldn’t argue…hell he was just glad that she hadn’t vanished. The police for the most part had left him alone since there really was no tie between him and his sister as far as they knew. Heck the twins had not spoken in years there was no way for anyone to think that Andy would have come to see him and that he would have any way to know where she was or what she had been doing. But just the same Rory kept a low profile doing what he would normally do and staying out of the way.
It had been nothing but pure and total luck that Rory had the day off during the time that Andy wanted to meet up with him. He spent the morning being as “normal” as possible just in case there was anyone paying special attention to his actions but at about 11:00 he made his way from the house to the aquarium. He took back ways and made several unscheduled stops just to be on the safe side.
Making his way into the aquarium a few minutes past 12:30 Rory scanned the inside attempting to figure out where he was supposed to meet Andy at. He “normally” walked around the inside keeping his eyes out for his sister. It may have sounded corny but he knew she was there he just wasn’t exactly certain where.
Rory spotted a woman near a tank one that if he had just been glancing around would have never passed for his sister; what with the heels and dress and the entire get up was not something Andy would have ever been caught dead wearing…but it was her.
Glancing at the tank as he neared his sister Rory kept himself turned towards the fish tank until he was next to his sister.
“Interesting fish…” Rory stated a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
“Not nearly as interesting as that get up you’ve got going though,” Rory teased gently.

“Interesting fish…”
Andy suppressed a grin as Rory came to stand next to her. Of course he would have come, and a quick scan of the room showed he hadn't been followed... or at least they hadn't found him yet if they were following him. She turned to back to face the tank, pretending to look at the fish rather than at Rory... that way they'd seem like strangers just chatting at the aquarium, rather than people who had arranged to meet.
“Not nearly as interesting as that get up you’ve got going though,”
Rolling her eyes, Andy held back the urge to punch Rory in the arm. "Shut up... I didn't want to look like an escaped convict," she pointed out. "And I didn't want to look like myself either... wouldn't want Vikers getting a hold of me so soon after I've tasted freedom."
It was meant to be a joke, but it didn't sound like one, even to her. It was too close to the truth. She'd broken out of prison and one wrong move would send her right back there. While she knew she could handle herself inside... she had done so for five years after all... but she didn't want to go back. It was boring there.
"Speaking of Vikers..." Andy said slowly, glancing at Rory out of the corner of her eyes and taking a deep breath. She wasn't sure... but based on what she'd seen in the past couple of days... this was the best shot they had. "I think he has your Amelia."

"Shut up... I didn't want to look like an escaped convict. And I didn't want to look like myself either... wouldn't want Vikers getting a hold of me so soon after I've tasted freedom."
"Yeah getting sent back would be a fail," Rory agreed as he kept his eyes on the fish attempting to look interested in what was going on behind the glass; though in truth at the moment he really didn't care. It felt as if they were both very much exposed and that everyone was looking at them though he was certain nobody was.
"Speaking of Vikers..."
"Were we speaking on him? I didn't think we were at the shark tank just..."
"I think he has your Amelia."
Rory's words died on his lips and he snapped his eyes over to Andy. He could literally feel the color drain from his face and he casted a few glances around to make sure that everyone was still going about business as usual before he returned his wide eyes to his sister. He took a hold of her arm gently and walked over to the far corner of the fish tank half giving up the charade of appearing normal.
"Why would you say that...what makes you think that he has her?" Rory asked his voice low and his eyes never leaving Andy.
It was one thing to for Amelia to be somewhere to have just left...as much as that hurt Rory to think that she would it was a more comforting thought then to think of her in the hands of Vikers...that was something else entirely. But it didn't make sense not when you thought about it. When you came down to it Vikers was a detective and as much as Rory and Andy hated him he wouldn't kidnap people...he wouldn't kidnap Amelia....or at least Rory wanted to believe he wouldn't.
"He can't have her Andy...he's a cop and that's...he can't have her," Rory wasn't sure if he was making a statement or begging.

Andy quickly glanced around the room as Rory took her arm and guided her over to the far corner. Thankfully no one had noticed... or no one cared. It didn't really matter which.
"Why would you say that...what makes you think that he has her?"
She took another deep breath as she thought about how to answer. Admittedly it was a wide leap from what she knew to concluding that Vikers had Amelia. But it was plausable... and she had a good hunch about this. Okay... maybe 'good' wasn't really the right word...
"He can't have her Andy...he's a cop and that's...he can't have her,"
Andy let out a dirisive snort and gently removed her brother's hand from her arm. "Rory, the fact that he's a cop doesn't mean anything. There have always been crooked cops, and there always will be, it's just a fact of life."
But that wasn't the point, of course.
"Look... I'm not one hundred percent certain that he's got Amelia," she told him, "but... I've been following him the last couple of days. And, you know, mostly he sticks to either the police station or his house. But there are times when he goes off somewhere - I don't know where - and is gone for hours, sometimes a whole day or night. It could be nothing... or it could be something. Either way it's our only lead. And I've got a feeling about this one Rors..."

Rory stared down at the ground as he allowed his sister's words to process. Vikers had Amelia. If Andy had a feeling then she was right. His sister had always been Queen of getting a feeling and it being spot on...it used to drive him crazy and now it simply scared the hell out of him.
"He's got her..." Rory whispered his hands clenched against his side. He hadn't thought anything of how much time Vikers had spent rummaging through Amelia's things the night before during the search...how he had focused on her pictures and her clothes...how he had touched everything...Andy wouldn't have missed it. Rory had simply thought the Detective was doing it out of malice but now it went so much deeper then that.
Then another thought hit Rory that nearly knocked him back.
"What if he kills her Andy?!"
Rory's eyes darted up to his sister so many emotions running through his head but anger being the most focused one.
"I'm gonna kill him...if he so much as have breathed on her the wrong way I'll kill him," Rory stated his voice a low growl his normally bright blue eyes going dark.
"Swear to God Andy..."

"He's got her..."
Andy decided not to correct Rory and remind him that she said he might have her. She did have a very strong feeling on this... she just didn't want to be wrong and have Rory lose any hope he may have left at finding her.
"What if he kills her Andy?!"
"He won't," she said calmly, meeting her brother's gaze reassuringly. "We'll follow him tonight, find out where he's going and - if I'm right - get her and go."
"I'm gonna kill him...if he so much as have breathed on her the wrong way I'll kill him,"
Now her expression became worried. While she encouraged Rory killing any evil thing he may come across... people were generally not counted as such. And while Vikers was certainly a very evil thing, assuming they were right, she did not want Rory following in her footsteps and getting arrested for murdering a cop... however corrupted he may be.
"Swear to God Andy..."
Reaching out quickly, Andy grabbed her brothers arm tightly and looked at him seriously. "No, you won't," she told him firmly, making sure he understood there would be no arguing. "We don't need another murderer in the family, do you understand? Vikers will pay, I promise you that, but you will not kill him."

Rory's eyes locked with those of his sisters as she grabbed a hold of his arm tightly.
"No, you won't."
"But Andy he..."
"We don't need another murderer in the family, do you understand? Vikers will pay, I promise you that, but you will not kill him."
Rory stared at Andy for what felt like an eternity. Every fiber in his body was literally screaming at him to find Vikers and kill him for what he had done to Amelia...and that was the thing he didn't even know the details of what had occured...a part of him didn;t want to know cause he was rather certain it was worse then whatever he had been able to create in his mind.
"Andy..." Rory shifted his eyes to the ground the words leaving him entirely. It felt as if the world was falling apart around him and it would only be a matter of time before it took him down with it. He had his sister back but it was only a matter of time before she ran or was taken away again...either way it was going to end badly...hell thus far their entire life had had the potential to end badly.
"If he has her...he has kept her since she went missing Andy. How are we gonna get her out without Vikers fidning out? You're not going back to jail because of me Andy...I can do this on my own," Rory explained forcing himself to look back up at his sister once more.
In truth he had no idea how he was planning to do it by himself but that wasn;t currently the point...the point currently being that he wouldn't let his sister go back to jail and he would do what he could to get Amelia out without landing himself in jail. Landing in jail wasn't his focus though the only thing he could think of was getting Amelia as far away from Vikers as fast as was possible.

"Andy..."
Andy continued to stare firmly at her brother. In her opinion, he really had no choice in the matter. She would not let her brother turn out like her. Not when he had a chance at a relatively normal life.
"If he has her...he has kept her since she went missing Andy. How are we gonna get her out without Vikers fidning out? You're not going back to jail because of me Andy...I can do this on my own,"
Andy opened her mouth to speak but stopped herself and instead regarded her brother thoughtfully. She had always been the strong twin. Everything came easy to her, fighting, hunting... and all of those things that Andy did so flawlessly, Rory struggled in. He was better at the people side of things, making sure the innocent humans were okay and calm. And still, there was no doubt in Andy's mind that if Rory came up with a plan to rescue his fiance then he would succeed. Andy may have been the better fighter, but Rory actually had something to fight for.
"I don't doubt that," she said eventually. "But I'm not going to let you." She paused briefly and held a hand up to stop Rory from trying to argue. " Two reasons: one, we don't even know if he has Amelia. It's just a hunch based on sweet fuck all. Who know's what you really could end up getting yourself into. And two, Vikers has rubbed me the wrong way since before I killed that cop... I get to at least punch him in the face..."

"I don't doubt that. But I'm not going to let you."
"But..."
Rory gave a defeated sigh as Andy held up a hand to silence him. He knew the look in her eyes and he knew he didn't stand a chance in arguing with his sister. She was set in her ways and he would let her have it...possibly.
" Two reasons: one, we don't even know if he has Amelia. It's just a hunch based on sweet fuck all. Who know's what you really could end up getting yourself into. And two, Vikers has rubbed me the wrong way since before I killed that cop... I get to at least punch him in the face..."
"You wouldn't have brought it up if you didn't believe it Andy..." Rory protested his eyes focusing on his feet. He hadn't seen it; for some reason he had been totally blind to the fact that Vikers...that the police could have Amelia. The she could be so close and yet so damned far away.
Rory knew that Andy had a grudge with Vikers but this was bigger then that now...much bigger if what Andy had said panned out...and something was pulling at him clean through to his soul that she was right.
"We have to follow him; we have to follow him and we have to get her back. Now; we can go now we can go and we can follow a=him and we can get her and leave. We'll go Andy we'll just all leave," Rory rambled on as his calm blue eyes grew more and more hectic by the moment.
He had never been one to plan and proceed; he had always just gone along with the plan and whatever else Andy had set in motion.

"You wouldn't have brought it up if you didn't believe it Andy..."
While that was true, Andy knew there was the possibility she was wrong. She did have very little to go on. There could have been any reason at all that Vikers disappeared for a few hours every day. But she had a feeling it had something to do with Amelia, and she would at least follow that feeling through. But she would do it smart. No need to get caught if it turned out to be nothing.
"We have to follow him; we have to follow him and we have to get her back. Now; we can go now we can go and we can follow a=him and we can get her and leave. We'll go Andy we'll just all leave,"
Andy sighed, and reached out a hand to calm her brother. They were in the middle of the aquarium and she was a wanted fugitive, no need to draw too much attention to themselves.
"I know Rory... and that's exactly what we'll do. I've got a plan... sort of... it really depends on whether your house has stopped being watched and if you have any bikes?"

“It’ll be fine. We can go out west or even another countr…” Rory allowed his words to die off as Andy reached out in an attempt to calm. It got him to shut up for a moment but he wouldn’t say it calmed him. It took nearly chewing his lip clean off to keep himself silent but he knew out of the two of them Andy was the one skilled in wheeling and dealing and any plans needed would no doubt come from her.
"I know Rory... and that's exactly what we'll do. I've got a plan... sort of... it really depends on whether your house has stopped being watched and if you have any bikes?"
Rory wasn’t entirely surprised that Andy already had a plan she was rather good at staying two steps ahead of the curve…most of the time. There were always those moments where one of them had landed in the hospital or there was the whole her being arrested for murder…but for the most part she was a step ahead.
“It’s been a few days since I’ve seen anyone,” Rory explained as he cast a quick glance around just to ensure that thus far they had managed to stay under the radar.
So far so good.
“Amelia’s into the outdoors…” Rory explained trying to not let himself get caught up again in the fact that she was no doubt being held in some nightmarish hell by a scumbag like Vikers. He had never been much of the outdoors but Amelia had loved them and had spent every moment she could drag him outside in the midst of nature.
“We have bikes; I got her a new one for Christmas…and she got me one as she noticed I had neglected to do so,” Rory explained with a ghost of a smile.

“It’s been a few days since I’ve seen anyone,”
Andy nodded. The police had no reason to watch Rory, she had made sure of that while she'd been in prison. But even if for some reason they were still watching the house, Andy would find way in and out without being seen.
“Amelia’s into the outdoors…”
A soft smile graced her features, as her brother returned to memories of his fiance. For now - if she was right - Amelia was in the worst situation possible, but Andy was going to help her brother get her out. And it didn't mean Rory shouldn't think about her.
“We have bikes; I got her a new one for Christmas…and she got me one as she noticed I had neglected to do so,”
"I like her already," Andy told him, still smiling. It had been a very long time since she'd really smiled... she wondered what she looked like.
"You go back to your place," she instructed, removing her hand from his arm and turning away from him as she heard someone enter the room. "I'll be there in an hour."
