- Vampires older then 200 years old can go out into the sunlight; younger vampires cannot as the rays will severely burn their skin.

- It is possible for a vampire to feed from a human without killing them.
- If a vampire "claims" a human that human cannot be harmed; unless the other vampire is willing to go against vampire law by harming the claimed.
- Vampires do not age.
- If a human is killed by a vampire at times they can become an unquiet spirit haunting the location they were killed or the vampire who killed them...or both. The spirits can appear life like at night but during the day they become barely visible if not completely transparent.
- To change a human into a vampire the human must first be bitten and then the blood of a vampire must make its way into the humans system and be consumed in order for a transformation to occur.

- Children should not be made into vampires; though it does happen it goes against an old vampire rule as vampire children can be exceptionally dangerous.
- A vampires maker has a significant deal of power over them should they use to put such power into play. Makers who abandon their vampire children after 'birth" cannot call upon this power 'legally" at a later point in time.
