Bobby Singer had made it down to Lawrence faster then he thought. He had been near enough to Kansas after helping an old friend dispatch a poltergeist in an old school and he knew he needed to get down to talk to John regarding what he had learned about everything that was going on in the demon world and what was brewing in regards to Sam and Dean.
Bobby pulled his old truck to a stop in front of Missouri’s house the hour was late but the lights inside of the house let him know they weren’t sleeping; it had been years since he had been here and one of these times he wished things would pull them all together for the right reasons and not for the job. But that was a fool’s hope and they had no time for it. Slamming the door to his truck closed Bobby made his way up the drive and banged on the front door.

John had been sat in Missouri's sitting room, half pacing and half sitting in the room whilst he waited for Bobby to get there. He still hadn't called Dean or Sam yet, and figured he'd listen to what Bobby had to say, before he did. And it didn't sound good news, although good news was rarely ever come by in their line of work.
He heard a bang on the door and went to get it before Missouri did, knowing it would probably be Bobby, and it turned out, his hunch was right. "Bobby." He said with a small smile, from not having seen his friend for a while. "It's good to see ya. You're lookin' good." He commented, moving back, and opening the door wider so he could come in. Though he knew as soon as the pleasentaries were over it was down to business, but thats what he did, and its what helps him function.

"John Winchester you better make sure he wipes his boots before walking into my livin room unless you want to be vaccumin," Missouri called from the kitchen where she was drinking a cup of coffee. She had already started up a new pot knowing the men would probably be up for a while with their little talk.
She hadn't really ever met Bobby but she'd heard of him a great deal from all the Winchesters.

Bobby waited patiently for John to answer the door, he knew he was in there and if he wasn't Bobby was gonna kill him. He was about to knock again when the door opened and he saw his old friend standing there. It was good to see him after such a long time.
"Good to see you too John," Bobby replied with a smile making sure to knock to mud off of his boots as her heard Missouri holler from the other room.
"You call the boys? Where are they? Bobby asked shoving his hands into his pockets as he stood in the doorway with John.

John emmited a slight growl when Bobby asked him if he had called the boys. "Yeah but Dean's phone is switched off, and he still hasn't got back to me." He told Bobby a little annoyed about that. "Why have you spoken to them recently?" He asked him, gestering with his hand to inside the house. "Why don't you come inside and we can talk better." He said with a more serious face as he thought about his boys and the trouble that was brewing.

Bobby gave a frustrated sigh as John informed him that he ahd called Dean but it hadn’t been till after he had heard from dean which meant that Dean’ S phone was off.
“He isn’t gonna get back to John not by the tone he was using in the messages back and forth me and him had…and I don’t think he has Sam with him either. I don’t know where in the blazes Sam is but he isn’t with Dean John,” Bobby walked further into the house and made his way into the living room knowing all the pleasantries and catching up would have to wait till later.
“Dean called me; some how he found out about Meg which is what I came down here to talk to you about. Meg’s back John and she has gotten stronger with some help from the demon. I don’t think the demon is in on this one directly but he is working through her and they are working at all but destroying Sam in anyway they can john and she’s making her way towards here. All the signs point to it and it is just the matter of stopping her before she breaks all hell open on the boys,” Bobby said pacing the floor for a moment knowing it was a lot to deal with but also knowing they were on a fast approaching deadline.
“She’s heading here over to Stull where one of the gates is that is where her second part of this attack is suppose to be. The rituals she has to do she has to do them in specific places and if Dean’s tone is any indication she has already gotten to Sam once. I just don’t know how but I can bet good money that Sam isn’t with him John and he is trying to take this one on on his own,” Bobby said his eyes showing the concern regarding what he knew could happen if Dean went after Meg alone.

John shut the door thoughtfully as he listened to what Bobby had to say, moving after him into the living room. He stayed standing as well as he watched his friend pace, as he tried to get out what he was saying about the boys and Meg. "How the hell did she get back out, thats what I want to know!" John exclaimed, frowning and trying to figure out some plan in his head, as to what they could do.
He watched Bobby for a moment, and then closed his eyes taking a deep breath, trying to figure out all the thoughts in his head, and just hope that his boys were okay. The messages he was getting from Dean just weren't convincing enough for him, and he knew how head strong his eldest son could be.
"Yeah well, the messages I've been getting from Dean, I don't trust them, like I know its Dean, but he's not giving the whole story. I think you're theory sounds right. If she's gone after Sam, Dean will do anything to protect him. I think our best plan is to go to Stull first, and try and head her off, as well if Dean's thinking of going there, he can't face her alone. He'll get himself killed." John said seriously, looking straight at Bobby, different plans forming in his head as to how to kill Meg, and help his sons all at the same time.

“Don’t know how she got out and I really don’t think that’s the main problem right now. Cause she did get out and damnit if she ain’t stronger for her efforts. This isn’t the same demon that you sent to hell…she’s changed…” Bobby was glad that Dean at least knew that his father was calling for him if anything else it was something.
“Have you tried callin Sam? I tried a few hours back and got nothing, but if I know Dean which I damn well do just about as good as you he’s gone off without Sam and most likely to get himself killed…we just can’t walk into Stull unless we’re all planning a mass suicide Winchester. I don’t even know if yet if anything short of the Colt can stop her right now and we don’t exactly know where that is right this second do we?” Bobby asked finally resigning himself to sit down in one of the chairs in the living room.

"Well we just have to hope that Sam or Dean has the Colt to hand ready to use it if neccessary." John said to Bobby, sinking into the chair behind him as if he couldn't bear to stand anymore.
"And we've gotta figure something out and quick. Meg is gonna turn up sooner or later and we've gotta be ready for her." John was just repeating what he thought and what he or Bobby had said, but he was just trying to mull things around before they got to the actual solution, which he guessed, was going to be a lot of thinking and discussing. "I haven't tried Sam, but I'm guessing I'd just get the voicemail for now." He replied softly, wondering what was up.
"And I'd suggest finding Dean first then working our way from there, but I don't want Dean powering off on his own, if he is indeed on his own. We should all stick together, and the sooner we find Dean the better." He said to his friend, his mind going to Dean, wondering where he was, and what he was doing.

“That boy of yours is about as stubborn as a mule I wonder where in blazes he gets that from,” Bobby grumbled trying to think of what would be their next best course of action in regards to the whole situation.
“The problem we might run into is if Meg bound herself to Sam then whatever happens to her will happen to him unless we can find a way between no and the time whoever finds her tries to end it…if she is still tied to Sam when dean or anyone else tries to kill her they’ll kill Sam just as brutally without even knowing it…this is the demons doin John and we need to figure out an air tight…” Bobby’s words were cut off by the sound of his phone announcing it had a message.
The damn thing hadn’t even rang but he quickly flipped open the phone and played the message, it was from Dean.
Bobby, its Dean.
You need to get to Sammy, I was on the phone with him...
He crashed Bobby, about an hour out of Lawrence. You forget about me and you concentrate on Sam.
This is why I am doing all this, this is what it all comes down to Bobby.
An hour out Bobby...if you let him die, I swear I will...
Dean’s voice was laced with what seemed to be a million and one different emotions and Bobby could feel the stone expression which had come over his face as he took in what the message meant. John was not going to be pleased about this…hell if he was pleased either.
“That was Dean John…he said that he had been talking to Sam on the phone and that Sam…that Sam had an accident about an hour outside of Lawrence. I’ll go and get him John and while I do that you need to figure out as much as you damn well can about that god damn Hell’s Gate in Stull…and for the love of Christ keep callin Dean till he answers. I’ll call you as soon as I find Sam,” Bobby said trying to get a grasp on the whole situation as best as he could but it was a hell of a lot and it was quick.
He clapped John on the shoulder knowing his friend was gonna be worried sick about his boys.
“We’ll get them both back John…we just gotta do it one at a time,” Bobby said and turned from John and headed out of the house and back into his truck drivin off to go find Sam and praying to whoever was out there that the kid was still alive.
