History:
Thomas Parr was born in 1510. Nothing much exciting happened for him until he approached 20 and was appointed to take over lessons for a boy named Henry Fitzroy. For the next six or so years Thomas became Henry's personal tutor and friend. If the name Henry Fitzroy sounds familiar, it's because it probably is. Henry was the illegitimate son of King Henry VIII. The boy's old tutor was given a new position by the King and then Thomas was hired to take his place.
He was an ideal choice for he was young and very bright. Thomas threw himself into his work, caring a great deal for the younger boy. He would sometimes get frustrated with his charge however and has been heard as complaining that Fitzroy recited his prayers with a “barbarous Latin Accent”.
In 1536, Henry became ill. In July 1536, Henry passed away in St. James's Palace. A grave day indeed. Over the years Thomas had come to care for the younger boy terribly and thought of him almost as a little brother. He knew to be careful in how he treated the illegitimate child of the King however. Though Henry did not take too much interest in his schooling the two got along well and had many adventures together.
Overcome with grief over the death of his charge/student who was around the same age as himself he met Charles. So much of his life had been dedicated the the younger man that Thomas found it hard to live without some form of motivation. Unable to find one in his condition he eventually was turned by Charles who saw him closer to death than life.
In his new life as an un-dead Thomas distracted himself with women, much to Charles' dislike. (However he did not kill many, if any, of the women.)
Around 1800 a new person joined Charles and Thomas in the life of the undead, this time a female. Her name was Tabitha Reynolds. She was very pretty for a lower class family of the time and very witty. He could understand why his maker was drawn to her even if he did not like to admit it.
Tabitha changed her name to Samantha and moved to America. It didn't take long for Thomas to get bored of Europe after she left. Moving to the states he took the name Emory Montague.
He tends to crash at Samantha's apartment when in town and stays for long periods of time. He greatly dislikes being alone. Emory has a tendency to like to stay with people he knows such as Samantha or Charles.
Samantha now has a human in her protection named Matthew who Emory likes to tease. He is careful not to say or do anything around the young human when Samantha is in the room or within earshot. He likes to think of Matt as Samantha's stray.
