Cordelia was personally amazed she had gotten a gig this big. She was used to doing the typical low paid Ren Fest that mainly consisted of a royal court, a few cheap games and a ton of vendors. Never had she expected she'd get a job with one promoted by the Universal Studios company.
This job paid far better than she was expecting, and would keep her situated in Florida for a whole month. Florida in July sounded like a far better gig than the usual month long gig she got- Pittsburgh in September. Plus, it was nice to be closer to her roots in the keys.
Cordelia took up residence at a in need of renovation Days Inn. She could have gotten an apartment, but that seemed like a waste of money. The motel was clean, had a microwave, fridge, and pool. Those were close enough.
After a long day in the heat, Cordelia made her way back to the motel and unlocked her door. Pitching her bag onto the bed, she flipped on a rerun of the X Files and settled herself in. After the day's heat, it was a relief to see the AC.

Sully enjoyed the summer...correction Sully enjoyed vaction spots in the summer they tended to be prime for the victim picking...there had to be a better word then victim...honestly he was simply teaching these people a lesson if they fell victim to their own actions it was hardly his fault...ish. Just the same the summer months in Florida tended to be just right as they were a friggin beacon for just about anything along the lines of what he was looking for.
Though the term summer and months had to be used rather liberally since the whole year in Florida seemed to be the summer...Sully made a note that upon retiring he would need to buy a nice little house and call it a century down there. Or he could always kick that bitch Tinkerbell out of the top of that Castle and hole up in there. But the mouse and his minions weren't on the cards that afternoon instead Sully had invested the afternoon in convincing shallow wanna be swimsuit models into eating enough hot dogs to feed the first fleet...inmature he knew...but it was rather amusing when the one girl...well that was personal businnes matters after all. But as amusing as the day had been it had also been rather pointless and before long the trickster grew bored...and that was never a good thing.
Things like Octo-Mom and John and Kate Plus 8 tended to happen when SUlly got bored and the world could defiently use a break after Balloon Boy. So Sully opted to do the un thinkable...he opted to behave and set up a small little residence in an old hotel or at least the outside of his room was old since once he was done with the inside it resemebeled the Playboy Mansion...complete with bunnies of course.
Even witht eh distraction of the bunnies and the food Sully needed something to do...anything really there had to be some sort of person staying here who needed to learn something...anything about life or the things in it. Allowing his eyes to shift back and forth between the walls on either side of him and doing and flipping a coin to see which room would be the lucky winner. Once the room was picked he pulled himself from his own room and listened carefully outside of the lucky winners room.
The air conditioning ran and the annoying sound of the television sounded...he would pick "sloth" as the fault even though that was sort of stretching it he really didn't care. With a snap of his fingers Sully grinned as he heard television within the room zap of with a pop and the air conditioner catch fire with a small sounding zap.

Cordelia was greatly enjoying the peace and quiet after the afternoon's heat and crowds. She was borderline falling asleep, but she hated sleeping at this hour. It would gear her up for the rest of the night and then she'd have to find something to occupy herself. For now, she'd just watch her program and-.
POP
The television jolted off as the sound filled the room. Scully's face was on the screen one moment, and then fading into oblivion the next in a streak of color across the now dark screen.
"What the-?" Cordelia sat up, her hand immediately reaching for the phone with the thought of dialing the front desk, when the smell of smoke caught her attention. Jumping up, Cordelia saw smoke wisping up from the top of the air conditioner.
"Shit." She grabbed a towel she'd discarded at the end of the bed in the morning and went to the unit. She began beating out the small flames with the towel until the flames had faded into a mess of smoke.
"Yuck." She shoved the curtains aside and slid the window open so that she could begin waving some of the smoke outside.
