Harper felt as if he could have stayed there within her embrace until Lucifer rose from hell to destroy the earth...in truth it probably wouldn't have been to long of a wait but just the same he didn't want to pull himself from her grasp. He felt safe there; he felt as if he belonged and Harper had never belonged anywhere in his entire life; not even within his own family.
"We have to move, we're too exposed here."
Harper forced himself to push gently away from Liana so that he could look at her. A quick glance around them seemed to prove that they were very much alne but then again Harper knew that Liana didn' mean they were too exposed to human company. No it was another sort of visitor they had to be worried about.
"Sorry," Harper whispered not having meant to have an epic size meltdown outside of the car. Pushing himself up slowly Harper ran a hand through his hair before extending a hand out to Liana to help her up.
"Where exactly do we go to hide from angels and devils?"

"Sorry,"
Liana shrugged and ignored his apology, he had absolutely nothing to be sorry for. It was perfectly normal to freak out and vomit blood after being dragged out of hell... well... she imagined it would be. At the very least it was a logical reaction.
"Where exactly do we go to hide from angels and devils?"
Taking Harper's hand, Liana allowed him to help her to her feet. "Good question," she said, frowning. "Well, as I said, the demons are off our back. The head Demon's not gonna make a deal and then welch out on it, things don't work like that... besides, demons I can talk to if they do decide to come after us. No... our main problem is the heavenly flock..." she pinched the bridge of her nose as she tried to think of a solution. "If... if we can find a semi permanent residence, something we can at least have a couple of months in, I can rig it with angel proofing, and toss a few cloaking spells on it, and we should be good..." she looked up at Harper hopefully. "Know anywhere we can go?"

"Awhile ago I was gonna go to Boston...or well near Boston. They have lots of small fishin towns there. Out of the way places a person could get lost in and nobody would know the difference. I had always thought of holing up in one of the towns...just getting lost among things," Harper explained with a ghost of a smile as he recalled the plans he had made inside the walls of his padded cell. Those days seemed like ages ago but in truth they weren't that far in teh past.
The only other place he could have thought would be safe would eb bck home and he thought it may be best if the dead didn;t go walking back home...that may have caused a bit of attention brought to them which was soemthing they were trying to avoid.
"Is our trip happening before or after or tatoo adventure? Harper asked still not entirely sold on teh idea of them; though really in retrospect tatoo was the very least of his worries...all things considered of course.
Though he would have thought it impossible Harper couldn;t help but feel a bit hungry as well. Though after events in teh not so distant past that may need to be avoided until a bit more time had passed between his hell time and the present.

Liana thought for a moment. Boston... that was over a day away driving and it was too dangerous to fly. No matter what precautions she took, planes were easy to bring down, and for some reason easily spotted through spells. No, it would have to be driving, but it could work.
"Not a bad idea," she said aloud, giving him an approving smile. "It'll take us a while to get there, but all in all it's not a bad place to hide..."
"Is our trip happening before or after or tatoo adventure?"
She could hear the hesitance in his voice and sighed, fighting the urge to roll her eyes. "I'm just trying to make things easier," she explained. "But if you really don't think you can handle getting one, you have to promise to never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever, lose the next hex bag I give you. Or leave it behind. Okay?"

Harper smiled ever so slightly; in the short time that Liana had been in his life she had learned how to read him rather well. And it wasn't that he couldn't handle getting a tatoo...after all he had just crawled out of his own grave it just seemed odd to him...for some strange reason.
"I managed hell for 5 years...and or 2 weeks I could handle it it just seems permanent...like you think that they will never stop."
Harper paused for a moment a shadow crossing over his eyes.
"They will eventaully get bored right?...They will stop...eventually?"
Harper kept his eye strained on Liana; it felt like he had known her forever like for some reason she had always been a constant part of his life. He didn't know what it was that made him feel that way or what he would do if it no longer was there...the feeling but for now he would embrace it because it felt as if he tried to change it he wouldn't be himself any longer.
"Do you think though...before we go across the country and get tatoosand do God only knows what...do you think we can find a motel...eat and maybe just for a few hours pretend things don't want to kill us and breath for a few hours?" Harper asked leaning against the car.

"I managed hell for 5 years...and or 2 weeks I could handle it it just seems permanent...like you think that they will never stop."
Liana bit her bottom lip lightly and suddenly couldn't manage to meet his eyes.
"They will eventaully get bored right?...They will stop...eventually?"
"Well..." she began, still not meeting his gaze. "You... Ah... hmmm... hard to say... I don't know how angels' minds work... I know I don't like them, I know they don't like me... and I know they consider you a threat. What with angel-boy trying to kill you and all... will they ever stop? I don't know... and I don't want to take that risk." This was not comforting at all.
"Besides, after the apocalypse, you'll probably be safer with an anti supernatural tattoo."
And neither was that.
"Do you think though...before we go across the country and get tatoosand do God only knows what...do you think we can find a motel...eat and maybe just for a few hours pretend things don't want to kill us and breath for a few hours?"
Liana automatically went to tell him no, it was too dangerous to muck around like they weren't in trouble. 'Cause they most certainly were in trouble. But the human Liana somewhere in the back of her brain reminded her that Harper had just clawed his way out of his grave after spending - what to him was - five years in hell. He deserved a break.
"Yeah," she said instead, stepping forward and kissing him on the forehead. "Yeah I think we can manage that for a little while."

Harper frowned slightly as he noted Liana avoiding his gaze. That wasn't an entirely comforting sign.
"Well...You... Ah... hmmm... hard to say... I don't know how angels' minds work... I know I don't like them, I know they don't like me... and I know they consider you a threat. What with angel-boy trying to kill you and all... will they ever stop? I don't know... and I don't want to take that risk."
And neither was that.
But in all relaity it had been what he had expected. But eventually they had to get bored with it. People got bored with thigns all the time; somebody out there would declare it their mission in life that all white cats need to be pink and for a month or so would go about painting them and then tehy would get bored and go off to do something else. Problem was thought that that was people...not angels.
"Besides, after the apocalypse, you'll probably be safer with an anti supernatural tattoo."
Harper frowned slightly a thought forming in his mind as he looked at Liana.
"But you're supernatural."
"Yeah. Yeah I think we can manage that for a little while."
Harper's eyes brightened nearly ten fold in response to Liana's answer. In truth he hadn't expected her to agree; he had pretty much prepared himself to be shot down and for them to go on their way. And then of course there was the feeling of her lips against his skin which was a rather welcomed bonus.
"Thank you," he replied his eyes locked on hers as he hands reached out to grasp hers.

"But you're supernatural."
Liana nodded. "It won't stop me from being able to see you with my eyes, Harper. It'll just keep you off the radar, nothing will be able to find you without asking you where exactly you are... and yes, including me, but I shouldn't be far away from you anyway." She saw him brighten considerably when she told him they could rest for a while, and reminded herself to listen to human Liana more often.
"Thank you,"
She smiled as he took her hands. "No problem," she told him. "There's a town about half an hour away... we can get some money, grab a motel room, and relax for the night. We'll go back to panicking tomorrow."

Harper listened to her words carefully filling the theory almost immediately with holes. But the doubts he had; the questions he felt burning on his tongue he kept them silent. For now anyways; there would be time for questions later.
"No problem. There's a town about half an hour away... we can get some money, grab a motel room, and relax for the night. We'll go back to panicking tomorrow.
"Sounds like a date," Harper replied with a smile as he pressed his lips gently against Liana's. It was a short and gentle kiss but he had needed to do it. Needed to do it simply because he could; simply because at the moment there was nothing trying to kill them or threatening them...in that very second things if only for the next few hours were bright and hopeful and Harper couldn't help but think that maybe with the voices gone the angels would listen...maybe just maybe everyone would leave them alone.
Letting go of her hands Harper pulled open the side door and slid into the car.

"Sounds like a date,"
Liana's internal wonderings about what exactly a date was, were quickly silenced by Harper's lips on hers. It didn't matter what a date was really, as long as it had Harper. Assuming no one had noticed Harper's return, she would be able to give them at least the night before they needed to start running again.
She watched Harper slide into the car before walking around to the otherside and letting herself in as well. Within moments, they were travelling down the road again, though now she had Harper's window open, hoping to prevent any further nausea.
"Feel free to get some sleep," she said. "I know it won't be for long, but you look like you could use the rest."

Harper sat in silence as Liana started the car down teh road once more. His eyes took in the sight of the passing road as the wind gently brushed against his face. He had to ignore the fact that he was indeed alive; if he thought on it for mu longer then he would no doubt go mad sooner then later. No; what mattered was that he had been in hell...literally and that Liana had brought him out...again literally.
"Feel free to get some sleep..."
Harper jumped slightly as Liana's vocie brought him back into the present.
"I know it won't be for long, but you look like you could use the rest."
Harper smiled slightly as he refocused his eyes out to the scenery outside of the car. Liana was correct in her statement that he looked like he could use some rest. Death had been surprising tiring and he felt that instead of being buried for 2 weeks he had spent it running a marathon. It wasn't long before Harper's eyes slipped shut and the wind from the open window continued to brush against his face and hair.
