Lilith swung her legs back and forward as she sat in her chair, her new vessel's feet not quite reaching the ground. She rested her head in her hands and hummed to herself as she stared blankly at the children's book in front of her. There was so much colour, and happiness and talking animals. It was, honestly, quite revolting. Children should be taught about how to slit their parents throats in their sleep, or shoving their pencil's into their teacher's heads. Not cartoon dogs saving people from fires or whatever this book was about.
She sighed loudly. She was sure she could have picked a better spot for this meeting but she'd needed a place where no one would bother her, or discover who she was meeting with and she'd never once heard of a demon in a library. And when she put out big, 'the first demon to come within 100 feet of me gets fed to the hounds' vibes, she had the most private meeting place she could think of.
She glanced up at the clock on the wall and sighed. Her associate wasn't late, in fact she herself had been early... clearly the stress of ending the world was getting to her, she was never early for meetings. On time, yes, but never early. She lowered her head to the table and closed her eyes. She was so BORED.

Ruby stood outside the meeting place for a moment, looking up at the building before glancing around the place, and the people going about their business unaware of what was being discussed under their very noses. Unaware that they would soon either die and or be used as hosts when the demons are released from Hell.
Another glance around and Ruby started walking into the library. Upon entering she could feel Lilith's presence, and a big smile crossed her face. She could imagine Sam's face when he found out she was in league with Lilith. But oh no, he would never find out, not yet anyway. She had left him trying to patch things up with his brother, now Dean had found out about the demon blood.
A quick sweep of the library, let Ruby know there wasn't that many people in here, and why would there be, it was a library, an interesting choice of Liliths. She headed towards where she could feel Lilith, and saw the demon in a little girl sitting at a chair. Ruby was actually quite happy to see the demon, it had been a while. "Nice place to choose." Ruby commented, sitting opposite the demon, who had her head resting on the table. "It's been a while since we last met, and I must say, things are going pretty well at my end." Ruby stated, leaning back on the chair. Not that she could very far as these chairs seemed to be very upright, and kept her gaze on Lilith.

Lilith raised her head and smiled at the demon in front of her. Ruby was her most loyal follower. Willing to risk being killed by any other demon that crossed her path, or by the Winchesters themselves if they discovered her true intentions. Or even by an angel having a bad day. The fact that Ruby was willing to risk her own life to free Lucifer was admirable, and Lilith would make sure she was properly rewarded for her sacrifices.
"It has been a while," she agreed, "and I'm glad to here things are going well." A sinister grin spread across her vessel's young face. "We're so close. Just one more seal to go. Is Sam ready?"
Sam Winchester would play an important role in freeing Lucifer from his jail. Most people would see him merely as glorified bait, but when you're going angel fishing you needed a decent worm on the hook.

Ruby replied to Lilith's smile with one of her own when the demon told her there was one more seal to go. They were so close just like Lilith said, and Ruby was excited, although kept it hidden especially around the Winchesters. She didn't want them to find out, especially at the last hurdle.
As Lilith asked about Sam, Ruby nodded slowly thinking about the time she had spent with the young Winchester, grooming him to free Lucifer under the guise of killing Lilith. It was funny how these things came about, and perhaps she had gotten perhaps the smallest of soft spots for him, but it wasn't big enough for her to think twice if she had to kill him to protect herself. "Sam is almost ready." Ruby started, thinking through some things slowly. "Plus, I can't give him enough of my blood to be able to kill you, he needs more than just me. And I don't know if he's figured that out yet. He might not, but if he does have you got anyone who you wouldn't mind expending. Someone who might know where you were as well so I can guide Sam to you?" Ruby questioned, raising a brow. "I know he's not aiming to kill you, but thats his goal and thats what he's gonna be aiming to do when he meets you." Ruby warned carefully.
Lilith was smart and already might have thought of this but Ruby needed to know, just so she could get on the right track to get Sam to free Lucifer.

Lilith nodded. It would be preferable if Sam wasn't able to kill her when they met, but she was aware that it was likely he could.
"I have taken certain steps to make sure that, should Sam be powerful enough, he will be stopped, no matter what's happening," Lilith explained. "So, if he finds out he requires more than you can give him, that's fine." She thought for a moment. Who was close enough to her to know where she would be, but still expendable?
"Monica," she said suddenly. "You know her, my personal chef? Yes, she's expendable, I'm sure I can find another demon to cook for me." Lilith tapped her small fingers against her chin. How hard was it to cook baby meat to perfection anyway?

Ruby listened to Lilith carefully, just so she knew she wasn't going to miss anything, and nodded when she said she had taken steps so Sam would be stopped if he did try to kill Lilith.
A smirk crossed Ruby's face when Lilith mentioned Monica. Oh yes she knew who she was, Lilith's chef and she knew just where she would find her, she wouldn't be far behind Lilith but a tracking spell would work just as well to find her without doing all the leg work, Ruby thought to herself. "I've no doubt." Ruby said to Lilith about other demons cooking for her. "I'll be able to find her when I need her." Ruby assured the demon. If she needed her, but Sam wasn't that stupid. "I like the sound of that anyway." Ruby said at the end. "Everything is falling into place." She said with a happy smile.

A small child ran past the table that Lilith and Ruby were seated at and stopped suddenly staring at them. Lilith was about to speak when she noticed th boy and turned to him. She stared at him for a moment before tilting her head to the side and letting her eyes roll back to reveal white. The boy all but screamed in fright and ran away crying. Lilith let her eyes return to normal and turned back to Ruby, now that there were no longer any disturbances.
Lilith stretched forward across the table happily and grinned. "Can you feel it, Ruby?" she asked. "The door is almost open and I can feel His presence already... the end won't come soon enough." She sighed. "I'd still like to get my hands on that damn prophet... I don't like surprises."

Ruby glanced at the child that ran near to the table where they were sitting, and let Lilith have her fun for the moment. She smiled more inside when that happened, imagining all the rest of the screams that would be heard once Lucifer was free. Oh it was going to be glorious! Ruby thought to herself, and then concentrated on Lilith when she spoke again.
"Just a little longer to wait and then all will become right with the world." Ruby agreed with Lilith, nodding her reply as well that she could feel it. Her ears pricked up when the demon mentioned the prophet, and she nodded her head again in agreement about not liking surprises. "I know what you mean, I always worry that he'll find out about me before we set our plan into motion, and then warn Sam. That would not be good, but we can't get near him because he's protected." Ruby said, voicing her thoughts outloud so Lilith knew what she was thinking about.
