The Metatron had not been hugged since before he had become an angel so he was taken completely by surprise when Anna stepped forward and did just that. He looked down at her, unsure of what to do, before slowly wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tightly back.
"You are pardoned," he said, a small smile on his face, before letting her go.
He looked around at the other angels. "My job here is done, so I will leave you," he said and turned to leave. He hesistated a moment and turned back to them. "Just... try and behave?" and then he was gone.

As the angels all added their confirmation Raphael had a feeling most of them had broken a grin as he had. His eyes switched to Anna as she had said nothing yet and he saw her take a step towards the Metatron. "I understand completely sir," she said.
A smile seemed to break out on her face before he heard her speak again. "But...I need to ask you to pardon me for one more mortal act." Raphael raised a brow in questioning and glanced at the others before catching movement out of the corner of his eye. Turning his attention to Anna and Metatron once again he watched her walk up and give Metatron a hug.
To say he was a bit shocked would have been an understatement. Raphael practically gawked at the two as Metatron, appearing slightly surprised as well, started to hug her back. He registared the angel say something before letting go but didn't quite catch as he was still registering the fact that Anna had hugged the voice of God. What a day.
He snapped to attention when Metatron addressed the rest of them again. "My job here is done, so I will leave you," he said before turning to leave. "Just... try and behave?"
Raphael felt a smile grow and he nodded. "We'll try our best sir," he said and gave a small wave to the back of the Metatron before it disappeared.
Looking around at his fellow angels he tilted his head slightly. "Well...this has certainly been an interesting day so far," he said.

Although Michael managed a smile as watch Metatron get what was probably his first hug since becoming an angel, the archangel's mind was already hard at work coming up with a plan to recover the stolen graces. If Lilith had any brains, which had thus far proven to be the case, they would be stored someplace inaccessible to angels. Knowing that higher ranking demons liked to desecrate Father's holy places at every opportunity, there was a good chance that an abandoned church was being used as a base.
"We need to send out scouts. I'm guessing that Lilith is using an old church. It'd be out of the way to draw a little attention to itself as possible, but very well guarded. Hell hounds, seals, lesser demons. Getting into the place will be our biggest problem. . ."
Michael searched her mind for a way to get past the barriers Lilith was sure to have put in place. Hell hounds and demons could be easily slain, but the first demon's seals would not be easily broken. So. . .someone that was not an angel would have to do the job. Who did she know that was powerful enough to fight his or her way through a building full of demons?
A terrible idea struck her. Her brother's would hate her for even thinking it.
"However, I think know how to go about it. You're not going to like it though."

Gabriel’s eyes narrowed slightly as Anna dared to embrace the voice of God. But there was far little to be done about and since Metatron seemed at peace with the action there was no hardship to found with it. He did not still understand why the pardon had been passed as Anna and her obvious forms of emotion could cast a very despairingly shadow over the war but it was not his place to question the will of God. He was his Father’s soldier and therefore he would obey orders w as was asked of him.
Gabriel stood in silence as Metatron left them with their orders and vanished as quickly as they had come. They would need to situate their next course of action and begin to formulate ways in which to succeed at the orders handed to them by their Father. The war was drawing closer to its end and it would not end in their favor if they did not do as what was asked of them.
“There will be charms…seals as when Alistar saw fit to destroy the Reapers. Ones that we will not be able to pass through,” Gabriel added agreeing with Michaels assumptions regarding Lilith’s holding spot for the graces of the angels.
Gabriel focused on Michael words as she clearly had an idea which soon after she stated they would not be pleased with.
“Do share Michael and let us pass judgment to whether it is a fitting plan or not.”

When the Metatron had left, Xavier had become completely serious. Anna's life had been spared, now he could focus on business. He listened to Michael's assumptions about where Lilith may be hiding the graces and nodded. It was not going to be easy.
"Those seal's are incredibly frustrating," Xavier muttered. "Whoever came up with those should be smited."
"However, I think know how to go about it. You're not going to like it though."
Xavier tilted his head to the side. "Dare I ask?"

Anna stepped back from the Voice of God as he delivered a few last...orders then disappeared. She turned her attention to the group as they began speaking. Raphael spoke first. "Well...this has certainly been an interesting day so far."
With that, Michael took over and everyone seemed to switch to military mode. Anna stood off to the side listening and raised a brow as Michael said they may not like her plan. Intrigued she joined the circle of angels, careful not to stand next to Gabriel.
She heard Xavier speak and couldn't help but agree with him. The seal creator needed a serious speaking too. As the lowest ranking angel in the group however she kept silent and waited to see what would unfold. Normally she would have no qualms voicing her opinion but she had a feeling that she should be careful where she tread for the next few...decades, should she have that long.

Raphael turned his attention to his brethren as they began discussing plans. Michael has always had interesting ideas so he stood silently listening, his own ideas starting to turn in his mind. It was true that they themselves would have difficulty in this battle with certain things. He had a feeling the Winchesters or someone would be getting an interesting work load with this particular seal.
"Yes, Do speak Michael," he said, glancing around the circle as Anna approached.
His arms crossed as he listened. The white lab coat made him look all the more serious.

Having gained the attention of the other angels in the building, Lichael began to explain her plan, preparing herself for the backlash it would draw from her brothers.
"No angel can get past those seals, but no humans would be able to kill the demonic entries guarding the graces. Most other beings we could recruit would likewise fall to Lilith's minions. However, I believe a Nephilimn could manage to get the job done."
The problem with her plan was that it would require cutting a deal with a creature that was supposed to be killed on sight. Nephilimn were dangerous, they could easily destroy civilizations if allowed to live. As frightening a prospect as that may be, without the warriors needed to fight Hell's army there would not be any civilizations left to destroy.

"No angel can get past those seals, but no humans would be able to kill the demonic entries guarding the graces. Most other beings we could recruit would likewise fall to Lilith's minions. However, I believe a Nephilimn could manage to get the job done."
Gabriel's eyes darkened considerable as he began to process the plan Michael was bringing to them for what she thought would solve as a solution the missing graces. She was proposing using a Nephilimn...the very creatures that they were all meant o kill on sight and had for years upon years, or well all save for one that Michael had let go several years ago and since then the creature had served as nothing more then a blemish upon the world.
"Michael...do clarify sister as I am praying that you do not mean what I believe you are getting at. Because even you have to respect the fact that the Nephilimn...or more specifically the boy you spared so many years past are damndable creatures who hold our Father's world and his children in the palm of their filthy hands...I am incorrect in assuming that you are wanting us to support a plan which would involve that abomination to survive long enough to carry out any sort of plan in the name of our Father," Gabriel responded sharply.
"Need I remind you Michael that the creature YOU saved is responsible for the death of one of our brothers...I am sure you have not forgotten?"
Gabriel held his stance sternly as he straed back at his sister; he was not sure what had been going through Michael's head lately but it seemed as if the choices she was willing to make were far more erratic then Gabriel could comprehend.

Xavier grimaced slightly when Michael suggested using the Nephilimn. It was both a terrible idea and a brilliant one. But Xavier wasn't entirely certain which he would call it yet. He saw Michael's point, there were few creatures on earth that could both bypass the seals and kill its way to the graces. But he also saw Gabriel's point, there shouldn't even be a Nephilimn, Michael should have killed him years ago. And that Nephilimn went on to kill an angel. However, though he had tried, he couldn't think of a better plan so he allowed himself to conisder the one in front of him.
"How do you propose we convince the Nephilimn to help us?" he asked. "He hates us almost as much as we want him dead."

Anna's mouth almost fell open at the suggestion. A nephilimn? While Gabriel continued on in is apparently permanent foul mood Anna found herself thinking about the option. In truth it was a good plan. She couldn't think of anyone else they could send that might get the job done besides Dean and she personally did not want to send him into danger if they could not aid him. He may have been to hell and back but she still didn't like the odds.
"How do you propose we convince the Nephilimn to help us? He hates us almost as much as we want him dead."
"Xavier has a good point Michael. While a nephilimn would prove the almost perfect answer how would we convince him to help in our cause. I hardly think the threat of the apocalypse would motivate him into helping our side." She bit her lip as she looked at the others. "But...he would be a good advisory for now. He can get to places we could never and we don't have to worry about him being protected like we would a human."

Arms crossed, Raphael looked intensely at the ground thinking as Michael made her suggestion. A nephilimn certainly would be able to get the job done. When Gabriel voiced his opinion he nodded. "I have to agree with him Mike. I am not sure if I see how we would be able to let him fulfill the plan."
He remembered the tragedy that had come into place because of the nephilimn living and he was not too eager to see him once again.

Had Michael been human she would have been rolling her eyes at this point. One would think her siblings would have more faith in her tactical abilities than this. . .except for Gabe. The day she and Gabriel started agreeing on things was the day that Castiel became one of those human comedians. Still, they hadn't completely rejected the idea.
"Come on guys, I may be reckless on occasion, but I'm never stupid. My plan is not to appeal to the nephilimn's altruistic nature. There are things Carter wants more than he hates us. He can be bargained with."
This was where she would run into the most trouble. Her brothers had been less than pleased with her the first time she had extended the half-breed's life; adding on more years, especially considering his actions, would not be something they wanted to do.
"I'm not saying we'll agree to leave him alone forever, just a few years. He hasn't destroyed humanity yet, and if events continue to go against us there will be nothing left for him to destroy."
The Heaven'y Commander paused before turning to address Gabriel directly.
"Brother, I am not too proud to admit that you are right. I should have killed the nephilimn while he was still a child. But that is in the past now, nothing can be done to correct my past mistakes, and whats more some small measure of good can come from it. I have proven that I cannot be trusted to be objective in matter's concerning Carter. If we choose to take this course of action, it should be you who makes the terms."

Gabriel listened with a hint of calm when he realized that he alone was not the only one who felt as if the plany to involve the nephilim was anything but a poorly made one. The creature was an abomination, a stain upon their Father's world and it had been granted life for too long. Gabriel's own eyes refocused upon Michael as her gaze met his once more.
"If you strive to involve the Nephilim Michael it will be you who will bring yourself before the creature as he has proven to be nothing but a threat upon our kind...and the only moment I will bring myself to him will be to end him," Gabriel explained his eyes traveling to his other brothers and the Fallen one.
"Anyone else who wishes to go should remember that it was this creature who struck down one of ours as well as led another to fall to er damnation. He is a plague upon us."
Gabriel's eyes refocused upon Michael.
"Grant him if this is the way you choose a month of silence per every rescued grace. There are 13 in all so it would grant the creature a year of silence...a year in which we can only hope something else destroys him."

Bargaining with the nephilim wasn't exactly something Xavier kept on his to-do list. Most of the time he tried to forget he existed, which was easy considering the half-angel kept his presence well hidden
Xavier was surprised when Gabriel agreed, albeit reluctantly, to the plan but figured that, like him, Gabriel couldn't think of a better idea either. And a year of silence was pretty generous, too generous really but it seemed it was their only option.
"I haven't got a better idea so I'll agree to go along with this one," he said. "I just have one more question. How do we find the nephilim?"
