Rosella smiled. Samantha seemed to be ok with her, now she just needed to convince Killian. But she was good at that, it could be done.
She also needed a good scare tactic that didn't make her appear guilty. But she had a plan. She knew this cemetary well. And the other spirits who lurked about knew her. She was prepared
Rosella pretended to be deep in thought for moment before turning to the others.
"Do you know how to play hopscotch? There's a place right over there where the dirt is very soft, we could draw a board in it. Do you think that's too dangerous for the dark?"
Rosella turned her head towards the woods, a nervous expression passing over her face and eyes.
"I hope my parents aren't gone all night again. I get so tired waiting for them."

Killian's trust for the kid before them grew less and less by the moment but then again she hadn't exactly done anything...save for being a creepy little girl in the middle of a cemetry. He supposed he had seen weirder things in his time; hell many would classify him as the "bad" thing out of the three of them in the cemetry as he was most likely the only one that evening that had crawled out of his own grave.
He eyed Samantha for a moment before his eyes moved back to Rosella and he shoved his offered hand back into his pocket as he eyed the area off in the distance the girl had suggested the play of hopscoth on. He figured there were worse things they could do. At least the kid hadn't suggested a game of "murder" or "light as a feather stiff as a board" in a real life coffin.
"Hopscotch sounds like an exhilerating time," Killian grumbeled his eyes scanning the darkness once more before going back to Samantha then resting on Rosella.

Rosella smiled brightly as Killian seemed to agree with her game. She was ready to start playing her game.
"Ok! Let's play." She clapped her hands excitedly.
Rosella left the two and walked a few feet away to a bare patch of ground. She picked a long, pointed stick up off of the ground and grew a hopstoch board in the soft dirt.
"Sing a song of six pence a pocket full of rye..." she sang as she began writing numbers.... "four and twenty black birds baked in a pie."
"Ok, all ready!" Rosella reached down on the ground and retrieved a small rock. She walked around to the side of the board where No. 1 was written and tossed the rock, smiling when it stopped on 7.
"Don't step on a crack or you'll fall and break your back." She giggled as she hopped from one block to the next. "Ok, someone else's turn!"
She grabbed the rock from the ground and held it out to the others.

Killian flinched slightly in response to the little girl’s obvious glee in regards to them being able to play hopscotch. “Oh joy oh rapture,” Killian grumbled as he walked off after the girl knowing by now that Samantha would follow right along with them.
He watched as Rosella began to set up the hopscotch board and he had to admit it was the most normal thing the child had done since he had run into her and Samantha. Perhaps she wasn’t as nuts as he might have thought. He was willing to give her not seed of Chuck evil but he was still hovering over Children of the Corn evil.
He had no friggin clue how the hell to play hopscotch but he figured it shouldn’t be too hard to manage and as he watched the girl go first he knew he was correct in his assumption.
He rolled his eyes as the little girl held out the rock and he took it from her not truly believing he was about to play hopscotch in a graveyard.
“Hell of a way to make this life count Killian…excellent kick off,” He thought to himself but he knew he couldn’t leave the two of them alone in the dark without any protection even if the kid was most likely the thing that lived under the bed.
He dropped the rock purposefully on the 1 block and stepped into the space picking up the rock and tossing it back at Samantha.
“You’re turn,” he exclaimed his voice laced with mockery as he shoved his hands back into his suit pant pockets and rocked gently on the balls of his feet. The leather of the shoes making his feet cramp but then again he supposed people really didn’t spend too much time worrying about comfort when it came to the shoes you were going to bury someone in. He took a deep breath and stared up into the night sky for a moment. Everything always seemed to smell fresher when he was brought back. He knew it was the same world he had left but it just seemed new to him just the same.

Samantha followed Rosella and Killian as they went to play hopscotch in a still farther and deeper into this painfully filled cemetery. She honestly had not expected to see a soul around. Just a night of uncomfortable sleep was originally in store. Now she was going to play a game of hopscotch.
She watched as Rosella prepared a game for them and was relieved to see it wasn't on a grave. That was the last thing she wanted to do. She couldn't bring herself to hop all over the dead's resting place. She watched and gave a slight chuckle as Killian played. She had never seen a grown man play the kid game. Her father had always refused to play with her and her friends when he was home.
She caught the rock that had been thrown to her and gave an nervous thanks. She walked to the game and tossed the stone. It landed on one side of a double square space. She hopped around and got to the end as she turned around to hop back to square one she fell on her butt. She couldn't remember what the rules were for falling down so she picked herself up and hopped back to square one. She hoped she would get points for effort.
"I haven't played since I was child. Do we go again or are we switching games?" Samantha asked hoping she wouldn't fall again. She was now wiping the dirt on off her pants.

Rosella smiled brightly as she watched the two play her game. So far, she couldn't have asked for better results.
"Let's play again." Rosella reached out and scooped up the rock. Going back to the board, she tossed the rock and began hopping over the spaces.
What Samantha and Killian didn't realize was that the group just happened to be hopping right over top of Old Man Vitale's grave. His tombstone had fallen over in the soft dirt and been carried away. And Rosella knew Old Man Vitale. He never came out of his grave, but he hated being disturbed. Even now, she could hear the faint rollings around in the grave beneath her feet.
*THUD*
Rosella stopped hopping as the sound came from the grave. Immediately, she turned on fake fear.
"What was that?" She whispered, looking around.

Killian watched amused as Samantha took the rock and began to take her turn at the game of hopscotch.
“Well that had to be the highlight of the game,” Killian said with a laugh as Samantha busted her ass in the process of playing the game.
“I say we play the “be silent and not creepy game till the little kids parents arrive game?” I hear it’s a good game,” Killian said figuring he could suggest a game as well. Technically he had played hopscotch just as the kid had suggested they do. He was for the most part being a fair sport about it and he hadn’t just left them both to their own devices.
“Or we could play again,” Killian muttered rolling his eyes as Rosella scooped up the rock again in her hands.
Killian watched as the little girl began hopping around the board once more but his head immediately snapped up at the sound of a distinct thud coming from the ground beneath them. He eyed the little girl for a moment but the kid seemed to at least be genuinely afraid of whatever that was that had just made the noise.
“That would be our que to leave,” Killian replied his eyes scanning the area around them just for good measure even though he was more then certain the sound had come from the ground beneath them.
“It’s time to find your parents kid and I think it best you head off to whatever it was you were doing,” Killian said addressing Samantha he really didn’t want the blood of two people on his hands. He knew he had his own insurance policy of sorts but he couldn’t have them hurt by whatever it was that was going on.

Samantha liked Killian's game but it was completely up to Rosella she was the one they were entertaining even if she was the one who seemed most at ease in the cemetery. Then she heard the sound as Rosella hopped on the board. She froze and saw Rosella's face.
"I'm stuck here. I can't just leave. Don't you remember...I know I said it was a dare earlier but these people are going to get me into an amazing job. They work for powerful people in the modeling world. I can't leave Rosella alone either. It isn't right to leave a kid here. I need to know she is safe." Samantha told Killian then turned her attention to Rosella. She took walked over to her and held out a hand.
"Come on lets go to a different spot one that is less scary. It will be ok, Rosella. I won't leave you alone."Samantha said in a calm voice ready to leave but not being able to.
Samantha wanted to get the hell out of this place but she knew the girls wouldn't believe her if she left because at least one of their stories were true. Her conscious wouldn't let her leave Rosella until her parents arrived. As she had told Killian it wasn't right and she believed that.

Rosella had to hand it to herself-every time she played this game, she got better. Now, she whimpered and raised a hand to wipe her eyes.
"I want my mommy!" She sniffled, tears beginning to spill down her cheeks.
Looking from one to the other, she cautiously eyed Samantha's outstretched hand. Was she ready for this? Maybe. Rosella had another idea.
Her lower lip trembled and she threw herself down onto the ground, sobbing.
"Come out and play." She whispered into the ground before turning on hysterical screams and whines. Her whisper, however, would bring out the spirit of old Mrs. Winstone when and if one of the two decided to touch her. Mrs. Winstone was buried on the other side of the cemetary, but she had amazingly good hearing for a spirit. One touch from either human and the old woman's spirit would suddenly be walking between the graves.
"MOMMY!" She wailed. "I WANT MY MOMMY!"

Samantha watched Rosella threw herself on the ground and throw a tantrum. Samantha leaned down to pick up the girl. But before actually touching the girl she had some concerns.
She looked up at Killian and shot him a look of slight panic. She didn't know what to do and she certainly didn't want her mother to come running out of the forest. Samantha really didn't need to be accused of anything that could jeopardize her life and career.
"Maybe we can take you to find your parents? They are right in there. I don't want you to fuss anymore. Let's find your moth....." with those words Samantha was going to pick up Rosella and wipe her tears away. Instead a spirit rose from the ground the instant she touched her.
Samantha screamed and as she screamed she dragged Rosella away with her towards Killian. She stood infront of both of them hoping that this ghost would not hurt them. She didn't want Rosella or Killian harmed on her watch that would be awful. Her eyes were wide in disbelief but it was right there. She closed her eyes for a millisecond and then opened them again. Nope her eyes weren't playing tricks on her.
"I'm not dreaming right? There is a ghost infront of us."Samantha asked Killian in a frightened tone.

Killian shook his head as Samantha insisted that she couldn’t leave because the dare she had been sent on was apparently much more important then her life.
“How exactly do you intend to work when you’re a…” Killian’s words were cut off though as Rosella decided to throw an ever loving fit out of nowhere. Killian hung his head for the briefest of moments as the kid continued to throw herself on the floor and scream for her parents. He would have reached down to pick her up but his luck he would touch her and then her parents would come and he would be accused of molestation or God only knew what.
He quickly caught Samantha’s look of panic and he only shrugged his shoulders not really having any advice on what to do with the kid. He figured she could get away with touching the kid more so then he could. He kicked the dirt around his feet as the kid continued to scream and he heard Samantha talk to her but his head shot up as Samantha screamed bloody murder and before he knew what was happening both Samantha and the kid were nearly on top of him and there was a spirit which hadn’t been there a second ago.
“Nope not dreaming and now we really need to go,” Killian said a sense of urgency in his voice as he grabbed Samantha by the wrist since she still had a firm grip upon the kid and shoved her back towards where they had come from and away from the approaching spirit.
His eyes focused ocne more ont eh spirit not knowing whether to make heads or tails of it but he could tell it wouldn't be good for the 3 of them to continue to hang about the cemetery any longer.

Rosella let out a very convincing shriek of horror when Mrs. Winestone's spirit suddenly appeared in front of them. Honestly, she was a bit startled. The old woman's ghost wasn't usually so quick.
Good work. She thought as she let Samantha and Killian drag her away from the spirit.
Thanks, you can go now.
As she thought the sentance, she noticed the spirit disappearing back into the ground.
"Was that a ghost?" Rosella whispered, raising her hands to rub her fists against her eyes. She tightened her hand on Samantha's. This time, she kept her powers at bay, letting herself appear normal.
"We could go to the woods. We could look for my mommy and daddy." She sniffled, wiping her eyes on her sleeve and clinging to Samantha. Her gaze turned towards the dark forest, wondering what their answer would be.

Samantha was frozen for a few moments unsure of what had just happened and when she felt Killian's arm she knew this was not some trick of her eye or even herself going mad from overexposure to a graveyard with strangers.
She watched as the ghost went away. Still holding onto Rosella and feeling her grip tighten. She was completely unsure of what to say to the girl who was now just as scared as she was, if not more. She really wanted to get out of this place and find authorities to watch on the girl but that wouldn't help. No one would believe that there were real life ghosts prowling a cemetery.
She hadn't realized that she hadn't let go of Killian's hand. She had been able to get a hold of it while he grabbed her to move her out of the way from the ghost that had previously been in front of them.
His touch gave her a sense of comfort to be in the middle of the two though that was probably the proper place for the scared Rosella to stand. Giving him a couple of glances and then looking at Rosella as she plead to go to the forest to find her mother and father she couldn't really resist. She let go of Killian's hand and knelt down to be on Rosella's level.
"Ok, sweetie, nothing's going to hurt you. Killian and I will make sure you are safe. I don't think it would be a good idea to go to the forest. Why don't we get close but not too close but enough away from here that the ghosts won't be able to bother us. Though I'm not sure how to do that."Sam stated as she trailed off with her last sentence. "Right Killian?" she said looking up to him with a look that suggested he needed to agree to try and keep this girl, though creepy, safe.

Killian watched still shocked as the old woman’s spirit sunk back down into the grave which it had risen out of.
“It was um a trick of the light…mixed with some fog and stuff…nothing some time away from the cemetery won’t fix,” Killian said as he heard the little girl ask if it had been a ghost. He figured they should try and keep the kid as calm as possible to avoid any more freak out sessions.
Killian’s eyes widened slightly as the kid suggested they venture deeper into the forest…the suggestion was right along the lines of here go investigate this white kidnapper van parked on the corner. There was no way they were going deeper into the woods he didn’t care if he had to drag Rosella and Samantha out of there.
“Yeah going into the woods would be a bad idea especially if your parents came out of the woods and we had taken you in then there would be this whole mess with cops…and jail…and kidnapping charges and I don’t think that is on Samantha’s to do list and it surely isn’t on mine kid,” Killian replied his eyes still sweeping over the seemingly empty graveyard.
“I would say towards the entrance gates of the graveyard if you are still set on spending the night here I’m not gonna leave you here,” Killian muttered as he looked over at Samantha and Rosella.

Rosella pouted for a moment, but turned it into whimpering at the idea of still being separated from her parents.
"O....ok." She sniffled, raising one hand to tearfully wipe her eyes. She clung tightly to Samantha's hand, but for the moment, kept any visions away. She didn't want them getting too freaked out and suspicious in the same moment.
Rosella bit her lower lip, keeping her tears flowing.
"I wish my parents would come back." She shot a tearfilled look towards the forest, but knew that at least for the moment, she wasn't getting the two humans into there. Now she was going to have to think up another plan.
