Leviathan had made his way from the hospital and out towards Stull Cemetery at what he figured was a reasonable time considering the traffic upon the roads and the down right shitty temperament of the car he had “borrowed”. Pulling up to the entrance with an abrupt stop and all but slamming hard into the steering wheel, Lev glanced about him with a slight look of shame “Well that could have been embarrassing had anyone been about….” he muttered bitterly, wrenching the car door open and slamming it closed with a resounding thud “…gotta be learning how to drive Lev…Jesus Christ man…” he hissed.
Making his way over to the gates leading into the cemetery and throwing a small duffel bag over his shoulder, Lev allowed his feet to carry him almost by sense alone towards the Devil’s Gate located near the very back of the eerie cemetery. Dropping the bag to the floor and following suit soon after, Lev kneeled before the old structure and quickly began to construct a small altar of sorts before it.
After several minutes and a few cursed words under his breath, Lev finally settled himself upon his knees and bowed his head over the various items before him. The incantations that fell from his lips and the action of a small blade digging into the flesh of his wrist and allowing several droplets of his own blood to trickle down into a small urn bought about a sudden rumbling in the ground about him and he rolled his eyes wearily. “Always gotta let me know when you’re coming….” he hissed quietly.
The sudden appearance of a figure stood masked by the shadows of the Hell’s Gate caused Lev to pull himself to his feet and make his way over to them slowly, though they remained in the shadows, hidden almost entirely from view even to Lev, he could still make out the figure he smirked gently “Sorry for the more…. unconventional…. means of communication,” he mused quietly, allowing the figure their anonymity for a time and simply staring at them from a short distance “You know I am always one to break the rules per say…” he added with a smile.
“The job is done….he is more than capable of what is needed of him…” he said with an all too obvious air of wonder in his voice “Didn’t take half as long as you would expect…he snapped sooner than we all gave him credit for.” he added quickly, stepping forwards towards the figure only slightly and still allowing them their cover of darkness.
“He has been given too long….” he mumbled “He is clever, he will work out the date and he will work out the significance. He is ready for what we need of him…more than ready. That darkness, the thing they all talk of downstairs….God it is strong, I have never seen it so strong in a human….” Lev’s eyes never left the figure before him and he became less than amused at the silence that still came from them. “Not the talkative kind….fine.” he hissed, beginning to gather up the items he had bought with him and affording them only a small second glance.
“You know, I didn’t have to do any of this….do you think I enjoyed possessing Winchester? For Gods sake his soul is more tarnished than mine and he bitches up a storm like you wouldn’t believe. If I had had my way I would have slaughtered the little son of a bitch while I was camping there…” Lev stood up quickly after collecting his belongings and looked pointedly at the figure. “I didn’t do it all for shits and giggles, the least you can Goddamn do is acknowledge that I am fcking well talking to you. You know what….forget it…all I am gonna say is you have given him too long….he won’t do what you want. He is more than capable, sure….but given time, he will figure our plan and he will refuse….” he said ominously.
“Go for him sooner….surprise the little shit, you are good at that. Anything for Gods sake! He will know what the Equinox means to us and Hell. He isn’t stupid, you think he will march his happy ass on down to you knowing full well the gates are closed? I think not sugar…and the Hounds….? Sweetheart we all know the Fido won‘t be set on him…” he spat viciously. “He is worth too much and taking him down there…won’t help our cause any.” he added with a hiss before turnng upon the spot and making his way off towards the exit.
His movements stopped as he heard slight rustlings behind and he turned slowly on the spot and could not help but allow the largest of smiles to cross his face as the Crossroads Demon finally came out of the shadows, her small black dress hugging her frame as pristinely as always and his blackened eyes met with her reddened ones. A smile almost mimicking his crossed her own lips and she cocked an eyebrow only slightly at him. “No Hell Hounds you say?” she breathed quietly “I wouldn’t be so sure of myself if I were you Leviathan, but I will think on what you have said…just be ready...for whenever it begins....” she added quietly, soon vanishing as quickly as she had arrived.
“Well…..” Lev mused sarcastically “That was insightful, but hey, lets not share too much with the rest of the class huh?” he bitched spitefully, making his way once more towards the exit of the cemetery and yet this time not affording even a glimpse behind him. “Bitch….” he spat viciously, as he crossed the threshold back out into the world beyond the graveyard and out towards his car.
