"Hmm? Oh, I just wanted to know why I couldn't figure you out, and now I'm just curious about how it all works... Oh...I'm asking too many questions, aren't I? I'm sorry, I'll just butt out now."
"No...not necessarily...not really sure," Killian explained honestly.
"The thing is...well you could say in about that last 300 plus years nobody has ever asked any questions so I'm not entirely certain what too many is. But i think you're fine..." Killian explained with a shrug and again cursed himself as he would need to eventually remember that Flick couldn't see what in God's name he was doing when he didn't speak it.
"In fact, I might go back to bed... if you still don't want to go home, there's about three million spare rooms and a couple of couches, take your pick."
Killian frowned slightly hoping he hadn't offended or made Flick feel bad in regards to her questions. In truth he had no idea how to respond to them; he had never really had that conversation with anyone before.
"Really?...You would trust me? In your house?...Even after I just told you I am pretty damn near a 300 year old zombie...just better looking?

"The thing is...well you could say in about that last 300 plus years nobody has ever asked any questions so I'm not entirely certain what too many is. But i think you're fine..."
Flick stared at him in surprise. Well, in his general direction in surprise at least. "No body's asked any questions? Ever? Did no body find it odd that you don't stay dead? Or - and I'm just assuming this part - that you don't age?"
Surely someone other than her had found out about his... whatever you would call it... cat thing. She can't have been the only one he'd told about it in over 300 years... could she?
"Really?...You would trust me? In your house?...Even after I just told you I am pretty damn near a 300 year old zombie...just better looking?"
She had to laugh at that. "Well, I don't actually know what you look like, so I'll have to take your word for that last bit," she pointed out. "But I'm a psychic, remember? And Jamie's been hunting things that go bump in the night since... well... since before I was even born. I've met stranger things than you, Killian, I think I can handle you being in my house." Flick yawned, folding her arm over her mouth to cover it up. "Do you need anything before I go pass out?"

"No body's asked any questions? Ever? Did no body find it odd that you don't stay dead? Or - and I'm just assuming this part - that you don't age?"
"No you're right. I don't age...don't change. And there for I don't stay anywhere long enough for people to notice that the 17 year old isn't growing up," Killian explained in response to Flick's questions.
"And no I haven't spoken about this in about 300 years. Not even Alexis knows the ins and outs...technically neither you do but you are the first to ever ask questions...to ever really call me out on it. I usually either vanish and/or die. People forget it isn't that hard to get around it all and I can even use my own name after a handful of years."
"But I'm a psychic, remember? And Jamie's been hunting things that go bump in the night since... well... since before I was even born. I've met stranger things than you, Killian, I think I can handle you being in my house."
Killian smirked slightly she had a point there he really was one of the more boring supernatural things that there were out there.
"Do you need anything before I go pass out?"
"No I'm good...sorry for waking you," Killian said as he stood up from the floor and looked at the girl in front of him. There was something about her soemthing he couldn't exactly put his finger on yet but he would figure it out. For now he would allow her to both fascinate and terrify him all at once.

"No you're right. I don't age...don't change. And there for I don't stay anywhere long enough for people to notice that the 17 year old isn't growing up,"
Flick frowned. She figured that was the logical thing to do, moving on before anybody noticed something was up. But it had to be lonely, living like that. And for so long. She decided not to say anything however, as her prying time was most probably up.

Flick tilted her head to the side in mild surprise. She guessed he'd never met another psychic before... at least not one who had decided to find out what was so different about him. Still, she felt privelaged that he had explained at least a little bit of it to her. "So is Killian your real name then? Or some super secret alias?"
"No I'm good...sorry for waking you,"
"Eh," she said, waving her hand dismissively. "Made for an interesting night... er... morning. Make yourself comfortable... I shall attempt something more substantial than bagels if you're still here when I eventually wake up."

Killian watched Flick carefully as she seemingly processed everything he was telling her and he was admitt that he was rather pleased that there had been no screaming and or freaking out to be had. She had handled it exceptionally well...hell she had taken it better then he had taken it.
"So is Killian your real name then? Or some super secret alias?"[/]
"It's mine; which makes life a lot easier for however long it lasts because it is a bitch trying to remember you're not you," Killian explained as he took a few steps toward Flick before he decided to stop. There had been enough adventure for one night.
"Eh, made for an interesting night... er... morning. Make yourself comfortable... I shall attempt something more substantial than bagels if you're still here when I eventually wake up."
"Good night Flick," Killian said with a small smile.
There was something very much different about Felicity Grey; she had soemthing something that in all of Killian's years...ALL of them he hadn't found in a person. With his current luck that could be rather bad. But knowing that and knowing how she was only served to make going to Salem to break the curse a more appealing course of action.

Fair enough, she agreed silently. Outwardly, she gave the boy her warmest smile. "Well in that case, nice to meet you Killian."
"Good night Flick,"
"Good night, Killian," she managed before a yawn overcame her. She gave him a small wave before disappearing up the stairs and crashing onto her bed. She was too tired to be able to focus on any of the noises coming from downstairs, but she hoped none of them were Killian leaving. She felt better having someone else in the house other than her, and she'd have quite liked for Killian to still be there in the... well... the later morning.

"Well in that case, nice to meet you Killian."
"Nice to meet you Felicity," Killian responded quietly as she walked from the room. Killian listened carefully as he heard her make her way back up the stairs and to what he assumed would be her bedroom. With the poor luck he seemed to tug along with him he wanted to be certain he hadn't given any to anybody else.
Killian stared about the kitchen for several moments before making his way into what he would guess was one livingroom among several rooms by the general look of the house he had managed. He didn't want to go off exploring in other people's houses but Flick had a rather stellar house. Crashing down upon the couch Killian attempted to allow the thoughts of everything that had happened within the last 24 hours crash over him. He figured once he got a bit less tired he would make his way back to the house so Lex didn't freak if she woke up and found him not at home.
Of course there is a downfall to being exceedingly tired and on a rather comfortable couch and that would be one tended to fall asleep.
*****
Killian sat up with a start which usually occurred when he fell asleep without meaning to or when he had died. Taking in his current surrondings he figured it was afe to say he had simply fallen asleep. It took him several moments of staring about the sun lit room for the memories of the night before to come tumbeling back.
Killian nearly fell off the couch when he noted the time on teh clock across the room. It was nearly 9:00 and by now Alexis was wide awake and no doubt about to kill him. Fishing his cell phone out of his pocket he swore to high heaven when it was simply dark screened...battery was dead...of course it was.
Struggeling to pull on his shoes and make as little nosie as possible which he seemed to be failing at since he nearly took himself out of the coffee table Killian managed to grab a pice of paper off the desk in the room and scribbeled a quick note to Flick:
Flick!
Hey! Sorry about waking you last night but it was a nice change to have somebody to talk to. Sorry I have to go...it's almost 9:00 and Alexis is gonna kill me!...Not really but near enough.
-Killian
Without thinking Killian simply left the note on the kitchen counter and made his way down the hall and out of the front door nearly avoiding being ran over by Flick's dog who came running into the hosue as Killian opeend the door and slipped out into the New York City morning.
