Jon drives a 2005 Chrysler Avalanche, charcoal gray in color. The truck's bed has a sealed cover on it so you need to open the tailgate to get in unless the top is removed which requires it to be unlocked from the inside of the bed anyway. He engraved a demon trap inside of the trunk lid and a demon lock on the tailgate lock and inside the truck doors ever since his truck had been broken into and some of his equipment was destroyed and stolen. He has several compartments within the truck to hide his equipment, with one large one under bed. To access it the top of the bed may stay on but the bottom panel has to be removed which opens into a large space filled with various equipment.
Through his various connections the truck is listed under federal vehicles that often deter law enforcement from pulling the truck over. He also has a LoJack system installed that connects to his laptop should the truck be stolen. Since a majority of his time when not hunting is spent driving Jon spared no expense and has a leather interior with power seats, seat warmers and even a massage system installed in each chair. He also has satellite radio, CD/cassette player and a DVD player and screen. Jon keeps several days worth of clothes in a duffel bag inside a floor storage unit in the back. There is a compartment he had custom installed in each seat large enough to fit anywhere from several pistols to two rifles or shotguns. He keeps his firearms with in the seats to prevent them being found. To access these weapons, the back of the seat must be opened up.
He acquired it two years ago after another hunter he was on a job with signed it over to him. The man had made a deal with one of the crossroads demon and his time was up, with no other heirs he let Jon keep it. Jon continues to drive it today.
