"I said No! The Rabbits are better then you, don't even think about attacking any of them or the Rabbits Friends the big bad Wolves are going to have you for Dinner!"
Alexander looked down and saw the vine that had wrapped itself around him.
"Now now dear, just one little snack and I'm gone. Would you rather I went after one of those humans instead? Then you'll get all the police officers and news reporters you ever wanted coming here searching for the monster that killed one of them."
He tore his ankles free from the plant and stepped back, things weren't going anywhere good.
"So why this one meadow if you don't mind me asking? With your powers you could take back the earth in no time. Why stay here and hide?"

Gabriella looked at the Shape-Shifter with a curious look, why would she want to even bother retaking the world over? She completely hated Destruction and the only way to take back the Earth was to kill all of the humans. She hated the humans although, they destroyed most of the Nature throughout all of their Years since they started to get new technology and she was getting tired of it. But her Mother always taught her to never Murder and only use her powers for Protection. She was annoyed with the mans Threat towards her, "Are you threatening me?If you even raise a hand to one of those...humans, I'll have every Mountain Lion in the area attack you and rip you to pieces. And I haven't taken back the Earth because I hate War and the only way the humans would give it back was with War and I'm sure you know that's not going to happen." she replied back to the Shape-Shifter.

"No threat dear, I'm just asking which course you'd rather I take. The sacrifice of one small animal, or the humans coming in here and destroying all of it. Believe me dear, I'm a large part of nature myself. Sometimes I think I'm more wolf than human. I hate humans probably almost as much as you do."
He knew he was giving her a hard decision but he loved to do it. Putting people and creatures in difficult positions and watching them squirm was how he got his kicks. It was like a live version soap opera, but better because he got to be a part of it.
"Listen babe, I just want my dinner and I'm out of here. Regardless of what happens you're going to at least get some kind of cop or someone coming out here when those humans get back to the rest of their kind. I'll grab my snack and go and you can go back to what ever it is nymphs do in their nymph lives. The choice is yours."

Gabriella had enough with the Shape-Shifters attitude, she replied at the Shifter Angrily, "It won't matter if I kill you right now! The body would never be found by the humans if its ripped to pieces by the Plants and the Animals, or I can have a Hive of Killer Bees attack you. The chance of the humans finding a dead shape-shifter is very unlikely. Now behave yourself in my home or I will kill you!" she yelled at the Shape-Shifter. Gabriella was losing her patience with the Shifter and was going to force him to behave very soon if he didn't listen to her.

"Ohh... now I get it, you assume I'm just an average shapeshifter. Just kill me and that's the end of it right? Sorry sister, it ain't that easy."
He could smell the variety of animals all over the meadow. If she really could control the animals, she had herself quite the home field advantage.
"I really don't like that we got off to such a bad start, but if you want me to go I'll leave and you'll probably never see me again. Just tell me what it is you want."

Gabriella was thinking the same thing, but he was going to have to treat her a little bit better if he didn't want her to kill him right there. She grew a large Vine behind her and sat down on it, "It's alright if you stay here...just don't be attracting Demons and Angels over here. I already have enough problems with the Humans and their Hunting they seem to love to do. They come in here and think they own my Meadow. I've killed three groups of hunters last year already." she replied to him. She found him a bit cute, although he was aggressive like any other hunter but the difference was he seemed to like his Animal Instincts more then Human Hunters.

Alexander gave her a smile as he sat down in the dirt a few feet away.
"Angels and demons aren't my kind of friends so you don't need to worry about that. I know what you mean about humans, they see me in my wolf form and they think because of my size that I'm some rare kind of wolf. So they do what comes naturally when they see something rare, they try to kill it and keep it as a trophy."
He liked Gabriella, he respected her keeping her territory safe. It was something he could relate to, except he hadn't had a place of his own in years.
"Tell you what, you let me come and crash here when I need to and when hunting season comes around, if I can make it back here, I'll chase off as many hunters as I can. Ok?"

Gabriella thought about what he said, she didn't care if he came here peacefully but if he came here wanting to kill the Animals or damage the Meadow then she would kill him on the spot. She could care less if he came here and chased off the hunters either, they always bothered her so she had no reason to help the humans. She grew small Grape Vine around her arm and started to eat the grapes off of it as she replied to him, "I honestly don't care if you kill the humans, although if I see you harming my animals then we'll have a problem." she replied to him as she ate.

"Babe, you gotta meet me halfway here. I'm a growing boy, I needs my daily vitamins and minerals. There aren't any animals around here you wouldn't mind me snacking on?"
He said his words carefully lest one of those vines wrapped itself around his throat. All in all she was pretty level headed, usually when he slashed into someone they were enemies for life.
"If you don't mind me asking, how'd you end up way out here in the first place? Aren't nymphs like really old even compared to me?"

Gabriella became angry again, she thought he wasn't going to harm her Animals but it seemed she was wrong about him. She took a few more grapes and ate them before replying to his question, "I came here from the Old World nearly Two thousand years ago when I lived in another Meadow with my Family. We were attacked my Humans and then I came here with the help of a Water Nymph." she replied to the Shape-Shifter. She ate a few more grapes before replying to what he said before asking about how she came here, "And no you're not aloud to eat the Animals here. If you ask again, I'll trap you with the Vines and then let the Mountain Lions and Bears eat you alive!" she yelled at him.

"I came here from the Old World nearly Two thousand years ago when I lived in another Meadow with my Family. We were attacked my Humans and then I came here with the help of a Water Nymph."
Alex let out a low whistle, even for him that was a long time to be around.
"And no you're not aloud to eat the Animals here. If you ask again, I'll trap you with the Vines and then let the Mountain Lions and Bears eat you alive!"
"Ok, ok easy compadre. Just asking a little question. Can't blame a guy for trying, can you?"
He pulled the slightly crushed pack of cigarettes from his pocket and stuck one in his mouth. He was going to light it when he remembered how angry she got about it before. Instead he simply let it hang from his lips.
"Well it doesn't seem like I'm going to get a meal around here, so I guess I'll be going. Just two quick questions, how'd you pick the name Gabriella? And how'd you decide on using that body as your form?"

Gabriella wondered why he didn't know much about Nymphs, her kind always took the form of a young woman. Her name however was given to her by her Mother but her Middle and Last name was created by herself. She took a few more grapes and ate them before replying to his question. "Well I didn't pick my name, my Father and Mother did and I didn't decide on my human form, I was born in this form. We Nymphs are born just like any other creature in the human form, except our Males the Satyrs don't look so much human at times..." she replied to him before taking a few more grapes from her Vine. She had just remembered she had guests today, she heard them walking towards the Meadow, a small group of Nymphs. "Care to join us for a swim and dinner?"

Alexander sat and listened as she talked a bit about her past.
"I know a bit about nymphs and satyrs, I just wasn't sure about the physical form bit. Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with it", he said as he added a wink.
"Care to join us for a swim and dinner?"
Alex had picked up the scent of the other nymphs coming in, he figured she already knew so he didn't bother saying anything.
"You mean you want me to stay here and swim around with a bunch of beautiful women and then have dinner with 'em? I think that could be arranged."

Gabriella smiled, she had been complimented by other Species but this Shape-Shifter seemed different then most of the other species she met. He didn't seem to be wanting to join just because there was Nymphs around, there was also Satyrs so he might be in trouble if he attempted to flirt with the wrong Nymph though. The grape vine around her arm started to shrink until it was gone and then she replied, "Well why don't we go take a swim then?" she questioned him flirtly before walking off to a Newly created Spring that was created by one of the Water Nymphs. She walked into the Forest where the spring was and took off her Dress, then jumped into the water. The Spring was empty except for Gabriella and if the Shape-Shifter decided to come in.

Alexander heard the other nymphs but a different scent was on the breeze, but Gabriella didn't seem to bothered so he ignored it.
"Well why don't we go take a swim then?"
"Sounds like a plan."
He waited a minute to give her time to change. He may have been what some considered a monster but he still had manners. He walked into the woods and saw the dress the nymph had been wearing only moments before. Stripping off his own clothing he couldn't help but look down at his own form.
Not bad for seven hundred years old.
He walked out towards the spring that he had heard a splash coming from. He looked around and realized they were the only ones in that spot.
"Room for one more?"
He didn't wait for an answer as he dove smoothly in the water. He hadn't been swimming in a long time, he'd forgotten how much he'd enjoyed it before. He looked over at Gabriella, the way the water glistened off her skin...
Whoaa... easy now...
"So uhh... nice weather huh?"
