Umm. . .Cas put a glowing hand of possible death on your head. I'm a bit worried about my newest minion.
And no, I can't image a Sam/Lilith smack down would end well.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT JESUS
That pretty much sums up this episode. Ruby must die. Dean went and pulled a John but I love him all the same. Sam is in way over his head and this will not end well. Lilith eating babies... she has to go.
OMG NEXT WEEK. It is all too intense for me, I don't think I can wait.

Okay, I've been thinking over the episode since it aired, and the more I think about the madder I become. I love this show, I really really do. I went several years watching almost no tv because there was nothing to catch my interest. Then a friend introduced me to Supernatural during the first season and I was hooked. It is still the only show I watch consistently. That said I hate what Kripke is doing right now. Not the conflict between the brothers -- they both need that distance so they can grow as characters. It's the other things I have problems with. (1) I hate what he's doing with God, the angels, and heaven. This is why I hate having religion in my pop culture, no one does it right. God is either a all embracing push over or a tyrannical bastard. I'm a liberal Christian, I know that some "Christians" are pompous asses who wouldn't know mercy and grace if it sat in their laps and called them Daddy, but most of us aren't like that. Most people of any faith aren't like that. Even conservative believers are usually very sweet people who genuinely care about others. I know of a two Christian professors, and a family of Muslims who are living examples of that. Anyone who has read the Bible should know that God isn't like that. (2) Sam's plan to take out Lilith. I don't care what was said in the conversation with Mama Winchester. This is revenge for Sam, revenge for loosing his brother, and revenge for his brother not coming back the same. His reasoning for drinking the demon blood is that the ends justify the means, which is a terrible way to go about things. The reasoning also justifies whatever plans Heaven has right now. So long as the world is saved "the ends will justify the means." If Kripke, in the end, tries to pass off Sam's actions as justifiable and Heaven's as "God is a dick" it will by extremely hypocritical. What I did like about the episode: *Lilith eats babies *Sam trying to give Dean the slip by not doing what he'd usually do, and Dean still finding him without much trouble. Another note: *I'm switching how I play Zach, he'll follow Gabe more closely from now on. Mikey will still be her demon slaying, advocate of the distressed bad ass self, because even in the Bible, that's how she/he rolls.
