"I'm sure we could find plenty of things we can't do with other people", he waited as she began to reach for the cross.
Moment of truth, now we'll see what she is
Jon was watching her closely scrutinizing her exact emotion, until she started pulling her shirt down exposing herself slightly and he lost his train of thought. He didn't mean to get distracted so easily but he was a red blooded male. He wasn't sure if it was a ploy or it may have been a small tick of hers but at the moment he didn't care. It wasn't until she started talking about it that he returned his attention to what she was doing.
Well she's holding it so I guess she's normal. I'm glad that my paranoia was for nothing, especially since I left everything in the truck.
Jon picked up the piece and returned it to his pocket. He didn't have any reason to where it since she wasn't about to start biting into his neck.
"It's an old family piece, I was just curious about it's worth", the practiced lie rolled over his lips. The first time he'd heard of holy wood he'd gone and had a cross made with silver on it. He hated living his life with lies but he couldn't tell her the truth, at least not on their second meeting.
"So tell me Miss London, do your first dates always end with plans to explore subway tunnels or am I different? I must tell you if an underground adventure ends your the first, I can't wait to see how the second ends, if your a good girl I may even give you a third", he said coyly.

Alexis settled back in her chair. That had worked rather effectively. It paid that she had so much practice in acting normal. But that's what you go after so many hundred years.
"It's an interesting piece. Like I said, I should deal in religious artifacts. Every so often, they come into fashion. In the early 90s, everyone had crosses. They were wearing them as necklaces, hanging them from belts, whatever. Last about three months, but you never know who might have designed them or what have you."
Alexis gave him a slow smile. She leaned forward again and reached for her wine glass. She took a long drink of the dark fluid.
"It's certainly an ending I've never had before." She reached back and ran the hand that wasn't holding her glass through her hair.
"Unfortunately-or fortunately, however you want to see it-I'm not typically a good girl. I'd be more interested in how this date ends than the second. Live for the moment, isn't that right?"
Alexis took another slow sip of wine as she met his eyes. She wondered exactly where this entire situation would go. The entire deal could end up being something she'd never dealt with before.

"It seems kids are wearing them either in rebellion to their parents or for what ever reason kids do anything. They never made much sense to me", The only reason he could conceive having one anymore was because of the hunting. It was a useful tool he was glad to have.
He watched her run her hadn through her hair and it sent a fresh wave of perfume to once more drive him to an animalistic urge to pounce on the beautiful creature in front of him.
"Live for the moment indeed, but unfortunately for you as it were it's my sworn duty to punish bad girls until they turn nice and it may take longer than I expected since I suspect you are especially bad. Now the easiest way to determine how bad or good a girl is, is to see how they kiss. Now tell me what kind of kiss do you like to give?", Jon leaned back into his chair. This night might be better than he could've hoped for.

"Kids do most everything to rebel against their parents." Alexis sighed. She held her glass in front of her, watching the liquid swirl around in it. "I've never tried to understand them. Far more thought that I'd like to put into it."
Alexis laughed at Brunner's words. She slid forward in her chair and set the wine glass back onto its coaster.
"Bad doesn't really began to scratch the surface of it." She told him honestly, a sly smile spreading across her lips to her eyes. He was extremely attractive and she couldn't begin to deny that.
"I could describe how I kiss, but what's the old saying? Some about actions and louder than words and all that? I think it would simply be far easier if I showed you."
Alexis moved from the chair she was seated in to the arm of his chair. Pushing her hair over her shoulders, she leaned down to seal her lips over his.

"Actions indeed", he watched as she made her way over, time seeming to slow and go faster simultaneously. It wasn't until her lips were on his that time began to function normally.
He pulled away for a second, "It seems you would be a very, very bad girl Miss London. It may take all night to cure you of this curse", the break was short lived as he returned his lips to hers. He moved his mouth down to her neck and bit down lightly. Jon pulled Alexis down so that she was straddling his lap, feeling lost in the passion. He ran his hand through her hair as he moved back to capture her lips, his tongue running across her lips hoping to gain entry. His other hand tenderly squeezed her hip as he felt his passion burning inside him.

As Jon brought her into his arms, Alexis reminded herself again that she wanted this one alive and that her teeth and nails were not weapons in this instance.
"This could serve a very tough curse to break, I'm not sure that all night will cover it. It could take multiple occurances." She brought her lips back to his and allowed him to kiss her deeply. Her arms wrapped around his neck and pulled him closer to her as she kissed him.
"I think we'd be much more comfortable elsewhere, hhmm?" Alexis slipped his suit jacket off and tossed it over the back of the chair. She moved off of his lap and got to her feet.
"Bedroom's the very last door at the end of the hallway. I'll meet you there. Just let me set the alarm since I have no intention of getting out of bed again tonight."
Alexis collected both wine glasses and the bottle. She'd bring them with her after she'd assured herself the place was locked up and she wouldn't have to ripe the throat from any intruders. That could put a huge damper on her evening.

"I guess we better get started then", Jon let his hands roam more of her body as his body seemed to surge with every heart beat.
Se's stronger than she looks, Jon thought as Alexis pulled off his jacket with minimal effort. Jon reluctantly relased Alexis so she could go lock up for the night. He liked her idea of not getting out of bed and decided that any more phone calls could wait for the next time he felt like listening. He pulled his cellphone out and turned off any alarms and made sure it was off before heading for the bedroom. Once again Alexis had immaculate taste in furniture, but that thought didn't last long as he went about removing the rest of his clothes leaving him in nothing but his shorts.
I'm so glad she didn't turn out to be evil, that would've ruined the night completely.

Alexis left the wine glasses and bottle on the table as she went over to the alarm setup and punched in the code. The light on the panel flashed from red to green and the word "enabled" replaced the "disabled" which had been glowing previously.
Returning to the glasses, Alexis refilled both of them, making sure to give Jon the larger amount for obvious reasons. She was hoping they were passed the stage of the game where she had to pretend to be interested in wine.
A thought suddenly occured to her. She didn't intend on killing Jon, but other circumstances could arise. His scent was nice, but not enough to make her want to kill him on the spot. There was always the possibility that someone with that scent could turn up outside. Even though she wasn't hungry, Alexis wasn't used to resisting urges when they came up. Once Jon was asleep, Alexis needed him to stay that way.
She dug through one of the kitchen drawers until she found a small bottle of liquid sleep aid. It was one of those ones that promised to put you to sleep and keep you asleep. She'd had luck with it in the past when she needed to move unconcious bodies, so she assumed tonight would be no different.
She added one drop to his wine glass before scooping up both glasses and the second bottle of wine he'd brought with him. She took a quick drink of hers so that the difference in portions wouldn't be suspicious.
Entering the bedroom, she smiled when she saw how little time he'd wasted. She settled the wine on the nightstand before moving to Jon's side. She traced her hands across his chest and wrapped both arms around his neck, kissing him deeply and nudging him lightly towards the bed.

Jon was just about to see where Alexis was when she opened the door. He noticed she'd brought the wine in with her. He let her lead him towards the bed as he fell back on to it pulling her with him. He managed to get her shirt off and was now working on her skirt.
Why do they make these things so damned difficult.
Jon grabbed his wine and downed it before he went back to working on the skirt. He was kissing her neck as a funny feeling went down his back. He finally managed to get her skirt off and threw it somewhere on the floor behind him. Now wasn't the time for manners since there were more pressing matters on hand.
"Now I really can't wait to see how the second date ends", he managed to get her completely undressed as he started to kiss his way down her body stopping at her chest. One of his hands continued lower working their way across her center. After all what kind of gentleman was he if he took all the pleasure, not that he wasn't enjoying it.

Alexis closed her eyes and buried her face into Jon's shoulder. She usually kept her escapades to vampires or demons. Humans ranked low on her list, but after her last encounter with a demon, she'd been considering bumping them up.
Her eyes snapped open as she felt Jon move and saw that he had finished his wine.
Damn.
Alexis did a quick calculation of his weight, the amount of medicine in the drink and the amount of wine. If her calculations were correct, she had about 30 minutes before he started getting sleeping and about 40 until he was unconscious for the next 8 hours.
"Second date?" She smirked, giving him another long kiss. "I'm not sure how into subway tunnels I am, but I guess stranger things have happened."
Her hand slipped under his waistband. She quickly got rid of it and let her hands wander. After a few seconds, she let her mouth follow their course. She figured she hadn't actually been born with emotions other than anger, and it was starting to bother her that she could feel something that wasn't anger right now. That and she suspected she might almost feel guilty for putting the medicine into the wine. Guilt wasn't an emotion she was familiar with, and she wasn't about to sort it out now.
Alexis moved back to kiss his lips. She let her lips drift down his neck and kissed it softly. She immediately realized that was a bad idea. The smell of the blood in his jugular vein was almost enough to completely throw her off. Quickly, she relocated her mouth to his shoulder and her hands elsewhere on his body.
"So tell me," she whispered silkily into his ear, "do all your first dates end like this....or am I special?"

Jon moaned as Alexis's mouth worked on him. He let his hands run through her hair as she started to get back up. He lowered his mouth down as his tongue penetrated inside, nibbling lightly on her. His hands pulling on her chest, rolling them between his fingers. He raised himself up and picked Alexis up as he wrapped her legs around his waist.
"How about we worry about the second date when this one's over", he laid her back on the bed so he was standing over her. He lifted her arms over her head and penetrated inside her.
"No, I guess you win best first date award for me, but we'll check that when it's over which won't be for a while", he kissed her deeply, biting her lower lip. He drove himself inside of her slowly, he didn't want to hurt her even though he was driven to give her everything. He had never met a woman like her, and was regretting he hadn't met one before.
"I sincerely hope you don't have any plans for tomorrow. This isn't ending any time soon", as soon as he said that it felt like the room was tipping, he shook his head to clear the feeling.

Alexis closed her eyes and let her head fall to her shoulder as Jon's lips touched her skin. This was crossing a line she wasn't sure about. They were bordering on intimate, and it wasn't a place Alexis had been before.
As Jon picked her up, her reaction didn't make her feel any better. She wrapped her arms around him and clung tightly.
"Fair enough." She breathed in response to his question. She disliked the fact that he'd let her go, but at his next movement she heard herself cry out.
"Jon...." Her eyes fell shut again as she returned his kiss.
Actually, darling, this will be over in less than an hour and you'll be sound asleep and I'll unable to sleep.
Now she was sure, she felt extremely guilty about the medication she'd put into his drink. Some part of her wanted him to stay awake with her, but she didn't know why. She was developing some weird emotion she'd never felt before.
Through half open eyes, Alexis watched Jon shake his head. They were probably down to 30 minutes before the total unconciousness hit. Alexis caught his arms, pulling him down to her. After all, if it hit early and he fell-.
Damn!
Her worst nightmare had just come true-she was officially thinking of someone other than herself.
"No, darling, I want you to stay with me tonight." She guided him gently onto his back before settling herself on top of him. "I need you here." She whispered as she leaned down to kiss him again.

As Alexis settled herself on top of him Jon grabbed her hips as he thrust into her. He felt the same funny feeling once again and realized he'd been drugged. He knew it was to late to fight it off and realized that his earlier opinion of Alexis was right. It was to late now so he might as well enjoy what could be his last few minutes. He continued thrusting into her as whatever drug continued to knock him out.
Good job Brunner, you once again manage to find a hot psycho out to take your head off. If I see tomorrow, it'll be a miracle. So much for our second date.
He rolled her over so that he was behind her, he ran his hand through her hair as the passion built. He leaned forward and bit down on her neck, leaving a hickey. He forced himself in faster as he felt the drug about to take him out. He released himself into her with one final thrust as waves of pleasure washed over him. He knew his body was ready for a round two but the drug began to kick in overdrive. He got up and sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at Alexis.
"Thanks for making it worth it", he fell back and passed out, his last thought of the dark haired beauty that had done this to him.

Alexis liked the sudden intensity that took hold of Jon. Maybe that drug wasn't as fast acting as she thought. He was completely amazing. She was cursing herself for the first time in several hundred years.
She gasped as Jon turned her over. Her body was about to completely given into the sensation he'd been working her to wards.
"You're amazing." She whispered. The contact of his teeth on her throat made her scream and she finally gave in to lose herself. As he pulled away from her, Alexis collapsed to her side. She looked over at Jon as a slow smile spread across her face. But at his words, she sat up curiously.
"What?"
Too late. The drug kicked in far earlier than she'd expected. He fell backwards before her mind could wrap around the entire concept.
"Fcking hell." Alexis shook her head and pushed her hair out of her face. Something told her he knew, and that in the morning she'd have some serious explaining to do. Oh well, she had about 7 hours to figure something out.
You could always.... The thought flashed through her head.
It would take about five minutes. Get rid of the body later.
Or she could stick to her original plan. Who knows, he might wake up in the morning and not know a thing about drugs. She'd take her chances.
Alexis got out of bed. She pulled on a short black satin robe and tied it around her waist. Crossing to the window, she reached up to fully close the blinds.
Someone was across the street. Alexis moved one of the wooden blinds. Was it? Yes, it was. The demon who'd showed up the other day. She'd deal with him later. Right now she had matters to attend to.
Alexis moved Jon's body fully onto the bed. She pulled the blankets down and over him.
"It won't happen again....promise." She whispered softly into his ear. "It's liquid Unison. You'll be fine in the morning. Sleep tight."
Brushing her lips lightly over his forehead, she collected the left over wine and left the room.
In the kitchen, she rinsed out both glasses and put the wine bottle into the refrigerator. She got rid of the fruit they'd abandoned. As she was putting away the books she'd taken out earlier, a bout of vampire lethargy took hold of her.
Some vampires didn't sleep, and some did. Some, however, were like Alexis and were wide awake when they were awake and exhausted when they were exhausted. Now she was officially exhausted.
Remembering the demon, Alexis decided she'd deal with him after a fifteen minute nap. For the moment, she returned to the bedroom, tossed her robe to the foot of the bed and dropped down beside Jon's sleeping form.
She had no idea what the next morning would bring and she'd figure it out later. In one of her waking moments, she'd figure out some other lie to explain why this had happened. Her last memory before falling asleep was letting her head fall against Jon Brunner's shoulder and her arm slipping around his waist.
